Hi, can you please reset my license ending in 4908? Thanks

Your licenses are now released from the previously bound hosts. https://justifiedgrid.com/support/faq/your-license-has-been-reset-what-does-it-mean/

Hi! Has the filtering deeplinking feature been implemented in JIG 4.0.1?

Not yet.

Hi Belcovio,

I just bought my 4th license of JIG with purchase-code 32b42f94-**-00057ec53bc0

I’m pretty comfortable with your very nice product, but … ... after installing JIG on my new site https://tegelen.nu (a small Dutch town) I went to the settingspage of JIG. I see the buttons which I CANNOT click on to open the settings. I have disabled the plugins but I don’t see any settings. Well, I can use the JIG-button in a post/page but I want to finetune my choosen lichtbox.

Sure you can help me. If necessery I can give you a login.

Kind Regards, Dré Holthuijsen Netherlands

It’s probably a JS error in the backend, that could be caused by a conflict. If you open the developer tools console with F12 or similar, reload the page, then even before clicking there should be a red line. It might came from a 3rd party origin.

Thank you for your quick answer. It was an older versie of Real Media Libray-plugin that causes this and another problem. I have updated and there are no longer strange issues. JIG and RML are for some years a very nice combination as you always advise in your highly recommended plugin Justified Image Grid! Thank you for your professional support!

Thank you for the kind words and your continued license purchases. Do let us know what feature you’d like to see in the future.

I run an event photography site with lots of users. I wish to have a “home page” where all the galleries pop up automaticlly as a thumbnail per event/gallery when they’re created without having to update the “home page” every time we crate a ‘grid’ from a specific event. Can’t find any specific guide for this

Phone uses PhotoSwipe and desktop uses Magnific Popup. You could choose PhotoSwipe for desktop as well in the settings.

What browser do you use where the desktop magnific popup doesn’t let you advance to the next image?

Also in a different browser we get PhotoSwipe on desktop as well. But for us both works fine (Chrome). If you intend to use 2 different lightboxes, and use a caching plugin, you need a separate cache for mobile devices.

I found the problem on my end. “Lightbox type prettyPhoto” doesn’t work in chrome or edge. But when I switch to ColorBox, Magnific Popup or PhotoSwipe they all work fine, so no worries there! :) Thanks for the help

Nevertheless it should, does this not work for you either? https://justifiedgrid.com/#!jig%5B1%5D/ML/8869 from our site.

Any idea how to fix this AMP issues?

See screencap: https://tableaux.com/files/images/jig-AMP-screencap.jpg

What would you suggest for JIG to do in AMP mode? Have you tried the Jetpack tiled galleries and seen if the display was dumbed down or actually a grid? We could prevent any JS in that mode and just spit out images all at once but that seems to defeat the purpose. A slider kind of display would again require some JS.

Are you using JIG in auto take over mode? It could auto disable the auto take over mode in case of AMP and default to what WP native galleries do.

I have disabled AMP on the pages where I use JIG (which is quite a few). Jetpack is not an answer for me as it won’t come close to replacing JIG features, especially the filter options that we need.

Defaulting to native galleries is a step backward in my opinion. For consistencies sake and for user experience, I don’t really want to run some galleries using JIG and others using something else.

I’m going to leave it as is for now and see what happens with my SEO ranking.

While we haven’t explored our options for AMP in depth we feel like our hands are somewhat tied since this plugin is known for the particular display which is only possible via JS. So anything we could do would be a dumbed down version.

Hello,

Thanks in advance for your time. I would like a layout that could feature all of the following:

1) Rows with 3 horizontal images 2) Rows with 3 vertical images 3) Rows with 2 horizontal images 4) Rows with 2 vertical images 5) Rows with 1 horizontal image 6) Rows with 1 vertical image

I would like to be able to control each individual row to be one of those options. Is this possible?

My apologies if this question has already been answered elsewhere, but I did look pretty hard Thank you.

-Rob

Thank you. I’m away from my computer but will give it a try in the next day or two. Cheers!

Hello, thank you for your consideration. I tried to get close to what I was after, and just couldn’t get there, so unfortunately I must take you up on your promise of a refund. How would I go about doing that? I do want to say that it’s an impressive plug-in otherwise: but it just isn’t what I need right now. Thank you!

Okay no problem. Request it through official channels of CodeCanyon, you need to initiate it not us. https://codecanyon.net/refund_requests/new

This is for NextGen Album/Gallery integration, can I disable showing captions on Gallery Images, but show them on the Album (to identify galleries)? I would have hidden them using CSS on the galleries, but I don’t see any specific class identifier for albums/galleries.

Custom JS in JIG Settings:

if(window.location.href.indexOf('nggallery/') != -1){jQuery("<style type='text/css'>.jig-caption-wrapper{display:none;}</style>").appendTo("head");}

Currently there is no setting for styling differntly the index view vs individual gallery view.

Thanks, this works perfectly.

Hi there, I don’t see enable breadcrumbs on the NextGen settings page. Has this been removed or something? To test, I do see breadcrumbs if I disabled NextGen takeover.

The JIG settings screen doesn’t have Breadrumbs section, but they are there when you Create New Grid (or on the fly). It’s in the Shortcode Editor, and disabled by default.

Hello,

I ran into a problem when I tried to use the automatic update of the JIG on my website. This is the message I got: “Automatic update error! This purchase code is in use on: angela-gaa.de! You need one regular license for each production site, except staging sites. Contact JIG support to reset your license (only the username is needed).” I have only the one website in use, so what can I do?

Thanks in advance, Rianga

Hello, I have one problem – I need to make a gallery with 4 columns, two rows (8 images), but I need to have stretch row and content – gallery all over the screen. When I make gallery and turn in WPBakery “stretch row and content”, my gallery is on the left side of my monitor and cover only 1/2 of the screen. I tried different possibilities, but nothing work, can you help me, please? Thank you so much!

Veronika

JIG works best when the settings are kept flexible. https://justifiedgrid.com/support/faq/id-like-n-images-per-row-and-all-thumbnails-the-same-xy-size-possible/

And: https://justifiedgrid.com/support/faq/what-controls-the-thumbnail-size/

There is no x images per row or “columns”, it’s fully auto.

Is your gallery 1 row when covering half of the screen or multi rows?

If multi rows then your builder/theme has something next to it that reduces available width.

If single row, then you can try increasing row height and deviation settings, and/or “incomplete last row” on “center”.

no INSTAGRAM scrap api yet?

edit: nevermind, conflict with another plugin :)

Hello, I had moved my website from a domain’s name to an other domain’s name. I had removed my purchase code from my older site and add it on my new site. So, I cann’t update my JIG on this new installation. Can you help me?

Does it possible to entire gallery photo to lazy move on left to right? I am looking such solution.

Lazy load is implemented as a vertical infinite scroll. There is no horizontal scroll. If you don’t see something on the demo site, assume it doesn’t exist.

Thanks for prompt reply. could you show me the demo for ‘vertical infinite scroll’I am not finding it.

By the way this plugin is awesome!

Hi Belcovio,

Could you please release the purchase code from the domain to which it is registered? That domain was a test environment, and JIG is not used in production site.

Thanks,

David
