Also, the message is not there, of course, the message is only inside the email. The message could be personal, you don’t want that public on your site.

Hello, I renew my licence to get support. I don’t find on butterfly site the support part. 1. I install plugin correctly 2. create a page with shortcake 3. I add images to the page as show in the tuto 4. I create a test with the 2 emails, text in card, and an image selected in mansard list. I receive the email test but no text, no image, just the title subject are OK. Why ? thank you

What is shortcake? What is mansard list?
Do you have an email template? You can design one in the eCard Designer or eCard Designer (Blocks) section.

Use [name] and [email] Designer tags to replace sender’s name and email address.
Use [image] Designer tag to add the eCard image.
Use [ecard-link] Designer tag to include the eCard URL.
Use [ecard-message] Designer tag to include the eCard message.
Use [ecard-content] Designer tag to include the post/page content. Useful if you have a certain eCard “story” or message you want to convey.

The banner image of this product’s page shows that it supports Paypal payments, does that mean the plugin supports purchasing eCards?
If so how does the plugin prevent sharing of the contents like most purchased eCards? In other words, the demo embedded an image and linked me directly to the image’s address, what is to stop someone from forwarding that email or address around, losing sales for the eCard?

As the PayPal API got updated, the eCards functionality stagnated and the payment functionality started to be unreliable or not working at all. This option is now available via third-party plugins, which can integrate with more payment gateways, such as PayPal Standard, PayPal Express, Stripe and more.

You can add a video on the eCard page and then the user will click the link in the email and land on your site.
It doesn’t tell you when the card has been picked up, that’s a privacy thing.
You can send eCards to anyone using their email address.

No, the payment feature is pretty basic, as it’s not the main goal of the plugin.
However, you can combine the plugin with a payment gateway plugin and configure your desired amounts there.
I have installed the plugin and read documentation. I am using shortcode {paypal amount=”1”}{ecard}{/paypal} on the ecard page but logged users are still getting the paypal button instead of the form to send a card. If I am understanding correctly “Only guests and non-members see the payment button. Members always see the hidden content.” I have disabled all other plug-ins and changed to default theme with no change. I’m missing something! Please advise.

I just bought this after having the ecard lite installed and working on my site, but I can’t get this version to work. When I click on the “settings” a message says: “Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page.” How do I fix this?

You can use custom CSS to move the radiobox up.
Regarding the demo, it’s Envato’s fault, as they try to open my site in an iframe and the site is protected with CSR. Nothing I can do but add a link in the description.
Envato’s been pretty slow with the product page updates, which are still not responsive and they use old technologies, such as Flash for uploading plugins. It’s 2019!
I have installed but am getting ‘The plugin generated XXX characters of unexpected output during activation. If you notice “headers already sent” messages, problems with syndication feeds or other issues, try deactivating or removing this plugin’ – I have tested on vanilla install with the same issue. I am using eCards version 4.7.1 PRO with UTF-8 charset and using PHP version 5.6.36 and MySQL version 5.6.41.
Try the latest version. Also try upgrading PHP to 7+. It’s not mandatory, but it’s recommended. If the error persists, let me know.
