I have a strange situation. My client has a site using Divi for the theme, but they build pages with WPBakery Page Builder. After upgrading to 5.5, their accordions and tabs don’t work. I’ve tried the plugin Enable JQuery Migrate and nothing works except switching from Divi to a default theme. There are no issues on the back end. Thoughts?

I made the fix for upgrading WP to 5.5 by installing the suggested plugin. Now, some of my backgroung images or background colors are not showing in the front end, and some paddings and margins set through “design Options” are not working. Web console doesn’t get me any error (as image missing or anything). What could be causing this?

I´m using version 6.2.0 of VC. WP 5.5 and the button on pages for VC not appear. It works frontend for customers on the website but not in the admin. Is there a known conflict?

Hi, I’m using this plugin with several premium themeforest themes and I found a bug within accordion module. Basically if you are opening tabs from top to bottom each time whole page shifts/scroll up. I’ve tried this on blank Twenty Twenty theme as well and few other themes – it’s definitely WPBakery issue. Any way to fix this? I can provide example over email.

Hello. I have a general question. With the ability to disable rows for certain devices, do you know if disabled sections still load its’ content and are just hidden from view?
For example, If i were to design a section for Desktop and a similar section for mobile, will the hidden desktop section still load on a mobile device?
I’m worried about page load time with duplicate content. Thanks in advance.
Hello, The column/row is hidden via CSS and hence it loads on on the page and is prevented from displaying using CSS code.

I am having weird issue, which happens very rarely, when I try editing the page with Frontend Editor I get various errors such as:
Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'setCustomShortcodeCss' of undefined at i.addCustomCssStyleTag (frontend-editor.min.js?ver=6.2.0:10)
Or with undefined:
window.vc.frame_window.jQuery
And similar issues related to frontend-editor.min.js.

Hello, We tried using this layout: https://d.pr/n/bGwHnJ+ and then editing using frontend editor. However, the browser console does not show any erros at our end. We are using only page builder plugin with default twenty nineteen theme.

Hello, I’m getting so upset because this is a great tool and you should implement it, because otherwise you get overtaken by Elementor. Please develop dynamic fields! Develop Grid Builder which is great! Today I noticed that I used it in page to show product grids and the grid element uses featured images only as a background, therefore not indexable by Google. The result: I have a product page very important in which images cannot be indexed. So do I have to switch to Elementor? Thank you!

Hi It seems I am having the same issue as mediastyle12 – on backend we can’t access WPBakery, it’s just code. We did install the enable-jquery plugin but that didn’t fix the issue.
I’ve bought this plugin a total of SIX times, it’s only being used on 2 websites of mine. I really don’t want to have to pay $64 just to have you answer my issue especially since it appears to be an issue with this latest update.
Could you please answer here a fix that those of us who have supported you all these years can use to get our websites back on track? I’d really appreciate it.
Hello, The issue can be related to a plugin/theme which is not compatible with WordPress 5.5. Can you check the same at your end by deactivating rest of the plugins and switching onto a default theme like twenty nineteen?

Hi! After updating Wordpress to 5.5 I am not able to edit my content with WPBakery Page Builder in backend. The blue edit button is missing.

Hello, The issue at your end might be related to a plugin/theme dependent upon jquery migrate which is not enabled by default since WordPress 5.5. You can try installing enable jquery migrate plugin on your setup and it will help if that is the case.

Hello, There can be an issue if you are using any plugin/theme which is dependent upon jquery migrate as it is not enabled by default in WordPress 5.5. You can activate a plugin such as: https://wordpress.org/plugins/enable-jquery-migrate-helper/ at your end to avoid such an issue.

Hi,
In the next update can you make sure that the Gutenberg button in the backend is hidden if the post type has show_in_rest set to false. Right now the button is showing up but when you click it just refreshes the page so it can be confusing to the end user.

I have a site using adforest which has a version of wpbakery bundled with the theme lic. They say to uninstall the old version and follow prompt to install the new version. All i see is a prompt for the paid version of wpbakery. How do i get this installed again?

The back-end isn’t loading on our client site after upgrading the plugin today. They’re running Wordpress 5.4.2, NOT 5.5. Any thoughts?
