We’ve built audioplayer into our service. There are a few problems.

[Problem.1] The first load is interrupted. If you play a song right after the page load, the player starts up, but the song does not play. Press play of the same song again to start playback.

[Problem.2] waveform may not be displayed. Press the play button for another song. There are songs that play back with no problem and waveform is displayed, and there are songs that play back but do not display waveform.

I’m having trouble with CORS when trying to play a remote file (from an RSS feed). I don’t have control over the source so I can’t set the headers. Does the player have any way to be able to play remote files?

I tried creating a basic PHP proxy on the same server and that resolves the CORS (based on this: https://gist.github.com/kosso/c89e8ea865ad22fea74aff304a059930), but then the scrubbing doesn’t work – the audio file only plays from the beginning and can not be skipped to part-way through the track. Any suggestions?

Hey , I would like to to integrate the Player to my static HTML page. (Not WP) . I am looking to change the default HTML Audio player with one of them from this templates. How can I do that without touching PHP files. Could you help. Thanks.

Great work, I really like the player. I agree with other people’s comments that the documentation could be more thorough, but I was able to get great results with a little work.

I had one question: is it possible to tell the player to go a specific time in the file? I know it’s possible to go to a specific percent, but wondering about time in seconds. We’re using it for long audio files (2 hours), and this would let us link to specific parts of the track.

Is there a more step-by-step direction to use the player.

Typically, using Magix’s Designer ProX, I put a place holder on the page and add code to the HEAD and BODY inside the place holder on a page of my website.

I’ve done that (because I wasn’t sure where to put the HEAD code at the beginning of the DOCUMENT)

So I end up with a player that looks like this and doesn’t load the song or play:

In the directions, I was asked to put the audio player folder and a .swf fil in the project folder. I don’t find a .swf file in anything that was in the downloaded zip file Michael

Hi This program may be way too complicated for me. I just ordered it a few hours ago. Especially, right out of the gate, when I’m asked to put the audio player and a file named ap.swf file into my project folder and there is not one .swf file in the whole download. Hi. I have downloaded the zip folder twice and tried to install these several times using the Dashboard. Each time Wordpress comes back with failure saying ‘No valid plugins found’.

I looked at the ftp method, but it is both confusing and I think outdated, since the instructions don’t match the contents of the folder. I am also uncomfortable about getting into the HTML and fucking things up…

Is this a known issue? Please help I have been struggling with this and it is holding me up…
