Is it somehow possible to modify the client backend dashboard pannel (Custom widgets) with your plugin? I have seen the possible options for other builders but I cannot find a way to use WP bakery to do so.

Hello, Unfortunately, the plugin does not have an option to modify the dashboard options. It can only work with the page editing area using the backend and frontend editor.

I have purchased a license and try to do an automatic update but it tells me I don’t have a license. The support page tells me to contact you VIA CodeCanyon profile, and your advice to the previous person says to contact you via support.wpbakery.com. I can’t create a support ticket because it doesn’t recognize that I have a license. I also can’t download the license via the link the WPBakery sent me

Hello, You can activate the page builder for posts under WPBakery Page Builder -> Role Manager -> Post Types, and then edit the posts using it. We have a pre-built template for post called “Creative Post Layout”.

Hello, I bought a template called “Bridge – Creative Multipurpose WordPress Theme”, that came with this builder, 2 years ago. Always used without any problems. Today I was going to edit one of the pages and it just shows html code. I can’t edit what I have. It also says the licence expired. But isn’t the license only for updates and support? It just stopped working in the editor. It shows as it’s supposed to show on the live site. Do I have to renew the license for it to work again? Please tell me what to do here.
Hello, The issue at your end might be due to an older version of the plugin. The plugin which comes with the theme does not have a license of it’s own. In this case, you can either contact the theme developer to obtain the latest version or can purchase a direct license from us to update the plugin at your end. The purchased plugin is valid for lifetime and does not have an expiry date.

Actually, when I try to uptade to 6.2 version, it gives an error:
“An error occurred while updating WPBakery Page Builder: To receive automatic updates license activation is required. Please visit Settings to activate your WPBakery Page Builder. Got WPBakery Page Builder in theme?”
I’ve already contacted the Bridge Theme support. I believe that I shouldn’t have to pay a licence just because the Theme Brigde that I’ve bought included a old version of the plugin, so I’m waiting the solution to have the latest version.

However, we do have many third party add-ons: https://wpbakery.com/addons/ which might have such a functionality as many of them have their own gallery elements. Please do make sure that you re-confirm the same with the respective add-on author, before making any purchase.

Regarding the Pop-Up: Is it possible to prevent closing of the popup via click on the overlay? In most cases I like this feature, but now I have a “longer” form in this popup and people seem to accidentally close the popup while editing the form.

Hello, The popup is not a standard element our page builder. It is most likely a custom element added by the theme or a third party add-on used at your end.

Nice, but still bugs: in Row properties the Border style is not saved – neither border color, nor Style, only the border width, which is useless by itself. Kindly fix asap. Using ver. 6.2 Thanks.
Hello, When adding a border, please make sure that you add border width between the padding and margin on left in design options. Without adding the border width, the border setting will not be saved.

When do you finally fix the issue that the page builder stops randomly put a p tag around all content when in VISUAL mode? No it doesnt happen when switching to classic mode and back again. It happens randomly when updating the page, always in visual mode giving strange error in case you use global css style for p tags. There is no need that VC puts a p tag around all content in the editor. It has been years. PLEASE FIX IT!

Hello, If you have purchased the licenses via codecanyon, then in this case, you should import the license into your WPBakery account. To do so, you can login into: support.wpbakery.com/login If you are not sure about the login details, then use the reset password option and use the email id associated with your codecanyon account. Once logged in, navigate to licenses page and click on “import it” option at the bottom of the page. It will then prompt you to login into codecanyon to complete the import. You can then activate the plugin license as per: https://wpbakery.com/video-academy/activate-wpbakery-page-builder-wordpress-license/

On my account there is no option to deactivate the license. I see only the license type (in-stock), the URL, license key and a button for renew my license. That´s all.
