Is there a shortcode available to display content from this plugin within the e-mail notifications such as {client_custom}? I would like to display the custom field in the mail notifications so my staff can see the details of the patiënts. Thank You

Please note that the Bookly Customer Information Add-on: https://support.booking-wp-plugin.com/hc/en-us/articles/360001696154-Custom-data-in-client-s-profile-Customer-Information-Add-on- allows you to extend a customer profile with additional data about the client which gives you the option to create various types of custom fields with different questions, collect the required information, and will be available right in the Customers section in Bookly.
To be able to add the {custom_fields} code to the email body, you would need the Bookly Custom Fields Add-on: https://support.booking-wp-plugin.com/hc/en-us/articles/115003963514-Custom-Fields-add-on.
This add-on allows you to create the different types of questions that the clients would need to fill out before the booking confirmation and all these reservation details will be added to your Bookly Calendar and can also be added to the email notifications for both your staff members and customers.
Please note that you can set a condition for displaying a specific custom field only when a certain value is selected (or isn’t selected) in another custom field. Currently, you can add a condition only to Checkbox Group, Radio Button Group, or Dropdown types of custom fields in the If statement.
So it can be added to the email notifications for both your staff members and customers by adding the {custom_fields} code to the email body. Note that the {custom_fields} code is only available for single notifications.

Hello, I just purchased this addon “Customer Information”. Can it be set up so that I could display different customer information fields for different services? For example service A I want to know how old the customer is, but not for service B? Thank you.
It would be great if this addon was treated like an “online form” that can have a unique name and be attached to any service individually.
Seems I purchased the wrong addon! Customer information addon doesn’t do what I need, but Custom Fields addon does! I have already purchased that one and applied for refund on this one. Thank you.
If you care about my feedback I believe the Customer info addon is redundant. Custom field addon has all the features already and more. It only causes confusion.

The main difference is that the information from the Bookly Customer information fields goes to the Customers section. And the information from the Custom fields relates to the Appointments section.

Do you want to create new steps in booking form? If that’s the case, then this option is not available at the moment. New steps will appear, but only if you will use some other functionality, like the Service Extras (Add-on).
Customer information additional fields will be displayed only on the details step of the booking form.

We have a last request regarding a feature that could possibly be set by an add-on:
We plan to use Bookly Pro for medical reservations: Some of the consultations are covered by patient insurance. In such a case, the patient does not have to pay in step 4, but must imperatively enter his insured data. How to do?
Would it be possible (for example), during step 3, to create check boxes, and depending on the checked box, to make appear mandatory fields so that the patient enters his insured data, and then, on this condition, bypass the step 4 (or at least not showing the payments gateways)?

Hi,
You can use the Bookly Custom Fields add-on (https://codecanyon.net/item/bookly-custom-fields-addon/21113970) if you need to record additional information related to the appointment. The fields will appear at the Details step and can be bind to services. Or, you can use the Bookly Customer Information add-on (https://codecanyon.net/item/bookly-customer-information-addon/21574466) if you need to gather additional data about the customers that will be recorded also in the Customer details in Bookly.
If your service does not require payment, just do not set any price for it and the Payment step will be not available (it will simply disappear after moving from the Details step). If all your services do not require payment, you can switch off the payment in the Bookly – Settings – Payments and the Payment step won’t be shown at all.

I activated Custom fields and file upload add-on, and it seems to work fine EXCEPT for the uploaded document which is not appearing in the attachment field of appointments details in the admin. Is this a limitation of sandbox version?

Hi! I love the idea of the Customer Information add-on as a way to save the client’s last appointment info and have the fields pre-filled. That way, they only need to change what is different. The problem is, there is no way to include these options in the staff booking email or in the client email as a verification for all of their choices. I saw in an earlier post you have no shortcode for this info, so my quesiton is, why not? You have a shortcode for everyhting else. How hard would it be to make it?

Could you please clarify what do you mean by create dated notes on customer? In the Bookly – Customers when editing the customer information you have the Notes field: https://prnt.sc/r37kp2 where you can add notes from the backend. However, these notes are related to the customer in general and are not connected to certain dates. The notes related to the appointment can be added in the same way in the Bookly – Appointments section – Internal notes when editing the appointment: https://prnt.sc/r37lt4

Both add-ons are quite similar, though there are some differences between them.
The Customer Information Add-on extends a customer profile with additional data about the client. It adds it right in the Customers section in Bookly. You may read more information about it here While the Custom Fields add-on is created to get more information mainly about the appointment. Check more information here
I’d also advise you to generate your personal demo version including all add-ons to check the functionality. Enter your email in this field and click the “configure” button: here
