Latest version is giving us an error. This happens when a customer goes to payment gateway and then clicks cancel (returning to site). If they then go to pay again they get “Click button to upload your file… for product #2780 – XXX #1 has not been performed.” error message at the top of the Checkout page. XXX is my product name to save confusion.
Happy to record a screencast to show you this happening.
Please advise a way to fix this, or in the meantime how we can rollback to the previous version which seamed to work fine.
Many thanks Geoff
Hi Geoff,
yes this is the normal behaviour. If the user cancel a payment, WooCommerce still creates an order (marking it as failed) and the uploaded files are associated to that.
If you wish to avoid this behaviour, make sure you are running the latest 54.3 plugin version and in the Options menu in the Checkout – Files to order association method area select the When the payment is completed option.
Vanquish, you’re a star. Thank you so much for the swift reply which seems to have fixed the issue.
very glad to hear that!
You’re welcome!
At least but not last… if you haven’t already done, please consider leaving the 5 stars! it would help me with saled and I would reeeeally appreciate it!

Esta instalado el plugin para que se muestre en los productos pero no llega a salir la opción de la subida de archivos.

Hi,
Please post questions in English
Hi.
I have installed the plugin to show it in the products of my store, but the option of uploading files does not come out in any part of the web.
Greetings and thanks.
Please, make sure you have not enabled any option to restrict the field visibility (for example: by user role, payment gateway, order status) while configuring the field.
Make also sure you have not checked any option in the “Disable upload field standard management” area in the main “Options” menu.
Note also that in case of variable products, by default, you need to choose a variation before the upload area is shown for the selected variation (you can eventually disable this option showing one upload field for all variation by disabling the “Display the upload field for every product variation” in the “Visibility” tab while configuring the field).
Good Morning.
We have checked the options that you have not said and they are correctly configured.
Please confirm the following procedures to be performed, or if you can connect and check it.
Greetings and thanks.
- Check the browser error console on the product page to see if any error is reported
- try disabling all the other 3rd party plugin to see if you still experience the issue
Let me know.
Good afternoon.
Checked everything and we keep having the same problem.
Please confirm the following steps to take.
Greetings.
It could be then that the issue just relies on a misconfiguration.
if you please send me via private message (click on my name and then use the low-right box) the following data:- your email address
- full admin access to the wp-admin area
- FTP access
- a detailed step by step guide on how to experience the issue
I’ll try performing some further tests. Thank you.
Private message sent. Please confirm receipt of the private message. Greetings.
Got it, please check your inbox.
Hello,
I am having an issue with the disclaimer tick box. If a customer forgets to check it and uploads a picture, the second he presses “crop and upload” then the system correctly displays a popup saying “You must accept the disclaimer”.
Problem is that if he presses “ok” to dismiss the warning and checks the tick-box, nothing happens on “crop and upload”.
Everything is stuck unless we refresh the page or delete the image and re upload it.
That shouldn’t be the case because from a UX standpoint the user thinks that the site is broken. If we check it it should allow us to finish with the already uploaded image.
Are you aware of this issue? Is there a setting i have missed? Running latest build.
Thank you.
Hi,
I’ve just performed some tests and it seems working as expected. After ticking the checkbox I was able to crop and then upload the files.
Please make sure you are running the latest 54.0 plugin version. Note that after you clicked the “crop and save” button you have to click the “Uploaded selected files” in order to complete the process.
Hi, I have a Javascript clash with the ZoomSounds plugin (also sold here through Envato). I cannot disable it permanently, but when it’s active I’m getting errors when setting WooCommerce Upload Files field options. What do you suggest?
Hi,
the only thing you could do is to try enabling the Force reloading 3rd party javascript libraries option you find in the Options menu.
If not working, I’m really sorry, but you should contact that plugin support team and tell them to not include their javascript libraries in all admin pages (or at least in the Upload field configurator page) but only in theirs!
Let me know if the option helped!
That helped. Thanks.
Glad to hear that
If you enjoyed my plugin please consider leaving the 5 stars, I would really appreciate it!

Please remember the rating, I would really appreciate!
I’m sure it’s fab. But I have not used it long enough yet. Please allow me to work with the plugin for a few days before chasing a rating, mate.
ok, no problem!
Have a great day!!!
Hi, I have set up your plugin to recognise pdf uploads which have been working fine, however I have come across 2 pdfs from a customer that aren’t recognised, ie no additional cost is added. I could send you the pdf if you need them
I have read the comment about the pdf not being encoded correctly and this in turn means the pages can’t be read from the metadata. I have found the following which may help and also a wordpress site that can do it – thefoldline.com and https://stackoverflow.com/questions/320281/determine-number-of-pages-in-a-pdf-file
Hi,
I’m sorry, but as reported in the Note in the Extra Fees/discount Per Upload With Special “seconds Overcharge” For Media Files you find in the plugin description page, that happens if the PDF has not been properly encoded.
Thats ok but I can’t go live with my website based on that, half my customers will end up not paying enough and then we will have to chase for more money, can’t you develop a solution?
I’m sorry it cannot, this is why the note has been reported on the description page. If the PDF is not properly encoded, there is no way to determine its pages.
I’m sorry, but the StackOverflow link you reported refers to a C# solution (that eventually may be applied to ASPX pages) that doesn’t apply to WordPress that is developed in PHP.
OK so how can thefoldline.com make it work?
I’m really sorry, but you should contact their support team to have more clues about their system. As you can imagine, I cannot provide info for a system I’ve not designed.
I realise that you cannot comment on their system I was just trying to demonstrate that the same pdf file doesn’t show the number of pages with your plugin but does with theirs. There must be a reason why the difference?
Yes, but to have more info about that you should contact their support staff. I am not able to provide info about 3rd party systems.
OK I’m really asking for help on this one. I have analysed / viewed the files metadata and the number of pages is shown, so I wonder how the plugin is not picking it up?
Without any further clue, it is quite hard to say. If you experience the issue only in few PDF, it means that their metadata encode has some issue.
If you share those PDF I’ll be glad to investigate further. Thank you,
That would be fantastic, how can I send the pdf to you?
You can link them here or you can send me a private message (click on my name then use the low-right box) reporting you email address.
I’ll reply with mine where you can send the files!
Did you get them?
Check your inbox for the reply!
Hi I don’t see the dropbox support option. I bought today. Is that download an old version?
Thanks Frank
Hi Frank,
you find that option in the main Options menu: https://www.dropbox.com/s/vy3wu153vmuw1nh/wcuf_dropbox_option.jpg?dl=0
Hi there!, i have a question about variable products, so in my site i have the filed “do you want to include design” the variables are “yes” and “no”, so what i want to know is, the upload file field can appers only if a select “yes” and stay hiden if I select “no”
thanks in advance
Hi,
yes. Just bound the upload field to the “yes” variation using the Visibility tab -> Product/Category restriction option: https://www.dropbox.com/s/wn5g6wzomx3vjv7/wcuf_visibility_6.jpg?dl=0
In demo when a customer add 2 quantity of product A with uploaded image 1 and then add 3 quantity of product A with uploaded image 2 , in cart it shoes : 5 of product A with image 2 but i want it identify them as separate product with diffrent uploaded image
Is it possible ?
Yes, for that enable the Products addable mutlipel time to cart feature through the special menu you find in the admin area.
Once done, you will can upload different images for the same product. Each istance will have its quantity: https://www.dropbox.com/s/y2e4b996ueoytr4/wcuf_cart_example.jpg?dl=0

Hi,
without any further clue, as you can imagine, it is quite hard to determine the cause.
Please make sure that the theme is fully WooCommerce compliant.
If you also provide more screenshots showing the issue (how it breaks the theme and how it instead should be) I can see if possible to perform some further analysis to see if it is possible to determine the cause of the issue.
To performthe analysis, please send me via private message (click on my name and then use the low-right box) the following data:- your email address
- full admin access to the wp-admin area
- FTP access
Thank you.
Hi there,
I am wondering if there is a setting within the plugin, to hide all product features on the cart and checkout page. Currently I have a summary of all uploads which is fine, but in addition to that, all product features will be displayed, which isn’t so cool
Do you have a hint for me there? Thanks in advance.
Best Martin
Hi Martin, what do you mean with “product features”? Could you provide a screenshot? Thank you.
I mean the product attributes i.e. the sizes from a Shirt (S, M, L, XL) etc.
If you refer to the attribute names reported in the product table in those pages, that is not part of the plugin but part of WooCommerce and cannot be disabled.
If you are referring to the attribute names reported in the Summary box and in the upload field area, those can be disabled through the In case of Variable Product, display full product name option.
Thanks so far for your help. Its the summary box where the attributes are displayed, but the strange thing is, that all attributes of the product were only displayed, if an upload was made. Otherwise these attributes aren’t visible. I have deactivated the summary box, even if I actually like it.
I have noticed that the attributes are visible too in notification mails with uploads. It is the content of the link to the upload. It must be any issue or wrong setting within the plugin. Can I send you a private message where I can send you some Screenshots? Thanks
I’m sorry, the plugin is meant to work in this way. The attributes are only hidden in the upload field area and can be optionally hidden trough the special option.
So if a product has about 30 attributes (like my have – motorcycle models and years) this is a normal behavior? If a customer i.e. is uploading 5 files, he will be flooded with 150 product attributes? You can’t be serious?!
Yes, the plugin always worked in that way. Attributes help the customer to identify the specific variation they bought.
If you do not need to bound the upload field for each variation, just disable the Display the upload field for every product variation option you find in the Visibility tab.
In this way, the upload field will be bound to the master product and its title will only report the product name.
Thanks for the hint, but the product hasn’t variations. It is a single product. I have disabled the option though, but it doesn’t work.
ah ok, now I understand. Please update the plugin to the 54.3 version I’ve just released.
For new uploads, the attributes will not be displayed. Make sure however to have not enabled the In case of Simple Product with attributes, display them next to the product name you find while configuring the field.
Now it is working as expected. Thank you very much
Thank you for reporting!

Hello,
My client purchased your plugin on my suggestion so I can use it in his website. I successfully activated the plugin on my localhost but now when I’ve put the website online it asks me to activate it again.
The problem is that the activation username and key are not working anymore. I get there error: “Buyer name is invalid!”
What should I do to make it work ?
Thank you, Daniel
If you need purchase code or other details please let me know.
Hi,
Please make sure you are using a fully HTML5 compliant browser like chrome and Firefox.
Please try eventually disable all the other 3rd party plugin and reperform the activation (maybe someone of them is interfering).
Hi
You already helped me to disable the scroll-behavior after an upload of a file is finished. Now i want to disable the scroll-behavior after an uploaded file got deleted. Can you tell me which lines of which file i have to comment out?
Looking forward for your answer.
Regards
DomZub
Hi,
edit the wcuf-frontend-ui-manager.js and comment/remove from line 8 to 12 and from line 21 to 25.
Hello.
After some time of using the product I got a message in WP that I have to activate the plugin. I followed the instructions and now the plugin simply doesnt work any more.
There is no error message in WP or anything. The plugin is all set just as it was before, but it simply doesnt show the upload box any more.
Can you help me with this issue? Thx! Regards, Dejan
Btw: I tried upgrading WooComerce to 4.0 but it doesnt help.
Hello,
as you can see from the demo site, the plugin properly works with the latest version of WooCommerce without any issue. Without any further clue, however, as you can imagine, it is quite impossible to determine which is the cause that caused the plugin to stop working.
Make sure you are running the latest 53.9 plugin version and try eventually disabling the other 3rd party plugin to see if any is interfering. Try also purging your browser and server cache. If it doesn’t help, try eventually roll back to the last know working configuration of your WordPress installation.
For further support, you need to renew your license
Hello, I renewed my licence as I need your support. Here are some other clues:
1. The plugin was not working correctly when I checked it after some time. It was working well before and I did not upgrade any other plugins. At uploading a file the file would be half uploaded and then restarted a couple of times every time coming to a lesser number in the end to only 1%.
2. At the same time I saw this message that I have to register it. I was not aware of that at all, I dont know when this message appeared. It was telling me that the plugin can only be set to two domains (I only use it on one).
3. I followed the message and registered the pluing (it required me to put in my user name and the purchase code)
4. That was it. I received no message about the registration and the plugin still did not work correctly.
5. So I updated the plugin to the latest version. That made the plugin simply disapear. I am now not sure any more which of those steps actually made the plugin gone.
6. I updated the WooComerce to 4.0, but that didnt help either.
Any help is appreciated.
Thx, Dejan
I am now almost certain that the last step was activation. After that the upload would not show any more not matter what I do. Can you tell me what was this activation?
Thank you for renewing. The activation process has been introduced quite a year ago to avoid the illegal software distribution and to make sure that users be compliant with the Envato usage license agreement.
Regarding the 1% issue, it sounds strange that the software stopped working without any reason. If you did not update or alter anything, the issue then must be server related. Most likely, for some reasons, it is not able to store the file and the raises an error preventing the plugin to properly work.
For these matters, you should contact your server maintainer. To have more clues, could you try enabling the WordPress debug mode (https://wp-staging.com/docs/enable-wordpress-debug-log-mode/ ), reperform the test, and see if any further clue is reported in the debug.log (located in the WordPress wp-content folder) and the main server error log?
Regarding the plugin disappear… did you installed WooCommerce in the “woocommerce” folder or did you altered that folder name? If you alter the folder name, the plugin won’t be able to detect if woocommerce is installed so it won’t initialize. Note that if you performed this kind of modification, restore the original. This kind of thinks may be the cause of all your issues.
Let me know, thank you.
1. About the activation process: I don’t have any confirmation the product is activated, also no information to which site it is registered. Is that ok or should I have some information somewere?
2. About plugin disappear: WooCommerce is installed in the woocommerce folder. I did not change anything.
3. About the 1% issue: I had the plugin connected to DropBox. I checked to DropBox for space and there is planty. Anyway, this problem is now not an issue as the plugin is not even there.
Please advise what to do. Thx!
- Once you entered the data, a message appears letting you know the result. If it is ok, you will be able to access the plugin menus (configurator, options,..) if it did wrong, you cannot use the plugin
- So you are not able to access the plugin menus or it is just not appearing in the frontend? In the latter case, please make sure you have not enabled any option to restrict visibility (like per payment gateway, order status, and so on) while configuring the field. Try also checking the browser error console to see if any error is reported and try eventually disabling the other 3rd party plugins to see if any is interfering
- It sounds strange. Because files are transferred to DropBox service after they have been uploaded to the local server. Once done, the will be moved to the DropBox account. However, for further info about the server issue, you should check the error logs
Let me know, thank you.
1. Ok, so the activation must have been ok, since I can use the plugin menus.
2. I can access everything and I did not change any of the settings. I double checked all settings to make sure, like you advise. I also checked the browser for errors.
3. Are you suggesting I disable all other plugins or do you have a specific idea?
Please advice further. Should I try reinstalling or will I have problems with activation then?
There are no errors in the browser.
Sounds very strange. Unfortuantely I have no clue which 3rd party plugin could cause the issue.
However, before disabling the other plugins, if you send me via private message (click on my name and then use the low-right box) the following data:- your email address
- full admin access to the wp-admin area
- FTP access
- a link to a product page where I can experience the issue
I can perform some further checks and tests to see if I can get more clues. Thank you.
Hi,
my Webshop has a Dark Background. Problem is that the Zoom Sliderbar from the Crop Editor is also Black. If you look it the Screenshot, you only see the Dot, but not the Bar.
https://imgur.com/1CsOrrGIs there a Workaround for that Problem, to get it White?
Regards, Daniel
Hi Daniel,
I’m really sorry but it cannot. The plugin uses a third-party library to implement that slider that hasn’t any option to alter the controller color. I’ve tried to perform some tests to see if it was possible to override via CSS that option, but I got no luck
input.cr-slider
{
background: transparent !important;
}
replace the “trasparent” with the color hex you wish!
Thanks for that Workaround. Its works well
Great Support
Is there a way to set the slider default to 0. The Red Dot in the Screenshot. Zoomed out total.
https://imgur.com/w2dAyyEWould look better for me
Glad to hear that!!
zoom: 0
... At last but not least: If you enjoyed my efforts to assist you and/or my plugin please consider leaving the 5 stars, I would really appreciate it!

That was easy
I did that 5 Star Review
So last Thing, now i would like to have the rotate und upload Buttons centerd, like the Slider is. Then everything is perfect.
Thank you very much!
For that, you need to redefine several CSS rules and I cannot list all here.
To know which are, just use the browser inspector tool (F12 in Chrome, CTRL+SHIFT+K in firefox): https://www.dropbox.com/s/zbdoh1clofypikr/wcuf_css.png?dl=0 to inspect the element for which you need to customize the style, get the class or the id and then define the CSS rules you wish in the theme.
If you do not wish to alter any file, you can eventually use a plugin to define the CSS for each page via backend like Custom JavaScript & CSS in Pages!
The html code of that area can be eventually found in the checkout_cart_product_page_template.php you find in the template folder inside the plugin folder
Hi
I need two clarifications before going ahead and purchase the plugin.
1. Is it possible to have download all file as zip in email body? so that I don’t have to go in woocommerce admin dashboard.
2. As we are a post production company and we are going to receive the images and videos by using your plugin, so we also want that some how we are able send the done file links to client for download, which I can’t see in your plugin at the moment, can this feature will be include in future?
Regards
- yes. To do that, while configuring the field, just enable the special notification option you find in the Notifications & emails area in the General tab. You can optionally attach the files to the email
- For this, you can have a look to this other plugin of mine WooCommerce Attach Me!. It allows to attach files to the order (that in your case could be the post-modified files) and notify the users via email when done (and eventually attaching the files)
Both plugins have a demo site where you can fully test their features in order to be sure they actually fit your needs. In case of further questions, feel free to ask.
Hi
I can see many links to download individual files, there is no suck links which says download all files as zip.
Can you help me in this.
Regards
Hi,
if you enabled the option to save files in the DropBox service, you cannot download all file as zip.
Otherwise, you find it after the file list: https://www.dropbox.com/s/rz6whapve90uisd/wcuf_download_as_zip.png?dl=0
Hi
I am testing the option with local but after your last update I am not able to see the upload file dialogue box on checkout page.
Please see the below screenshot, this is happening since last update I have done.
https://drive.google.com/open?id=13GSNprFtT0KmLICIbmZz1bnS2dim1JnKAs you can test in the demo site, the options work as expected. So the issue may be caused by a 3rd party interference. Without any further clue, however, it is quite hard to determine the cause.
Make sure you are running the latest 54.0 plugin version. Purge your browser and server cache and give a look to the browser error console to see if any further clue is reported.
Try also eventually to disable all the 3rd party plugins to see if any is interfering. If it doesn’t add any clue, try eventually switch theme
Hi
Yes the third party plugin was causing the issue, it is resolved now.
I have tried to place the new order and uploaded several files but still I cant see the download all files as zip in email body, please see the screenshots.
https://drive.google.com/open?id=13GSNprFtT0KmLICIbmZz1bnS2dim1JnKRegards
Glad to hear that.
Regarding the download button, it is because the email doesn’t include that feature. As reported in the previous comment, that option can be found in the Admin order edit page.
Hi
Thanks for the clearing the doubt the download as zip file link in email body, this was the first question which I asked and you said yes for that, anyway for now we will manage it for now, but as suggestion please consider it to add this feature in your roadmap of development, It will be less time consuming for the users and will be the more secured way because I don’t have to share the access of my wordpress, I know there are user access control in wordpress but again it will save one task of admin and back-end users.
Thanks.
Yes you right, my bad I did not understood the question.
Thank you however for suggestion. I’ve just released the new 54.2 version that now includes that link even in the email!
Plese update, I hope you enjoy! If so…consider leaving the 5 stars, I would really appreciate it!

Thank you!
Does the plugin work well in the new version woocommerce 4.0? I use a wordpress page builder called Beaver Builder, it is not listed in your plugin’s compatibility, does this mean that it may not work well on my site or that there are just no different modules for it? It will work on standard woocommerce pages in the same way, right?
Hi,
as you can test in the demo site, the plugin works without problem with the latest version of WooCommerce.
Regarding the Beaver Builder, the plugin hasn’t any support for that plugin and its features. So if it is a page builder, do not expect to be able to access the upload fields area in that builder.
The plugin has a the demo site where you can fully test its feature before purchasing in order to be sure that the plugin actually fits your needs and expectations. In case you need further info, feel free to ask.
OK! Is there any way to test the plugin on my website? A trial or basic free version? I don’t need to access the resource through the builder, the product page is standard for woocommerce, but I don’t know if any incompatibilities exist.
No unfortunately there isn’t any trial version.
If you plan to use in the product page, there should not problems.
I can however setup a private demo site where you can test both plugins in action. If you send me a private message (click on my name then use the low-right box) reporting you email, I’ll reply with mine where you can send me that plugin. I’ll set up the demo site and let you have the access.
This is the error message I get when I installed on WooCommerce.
Some of your installed plugin are generating javascript errors that MAY prevent WCUF configurator to work properly. Fix or disable them.
Error type: ReferenceError: wp is not defined On script: https://estatemulti.printsafe.net/wp-content/themes/ascend_premium/lib/classes/cmb/js/cmb2.min.js?ver=2.6.0 Line: 1
To DISABLE this warning message, go to Option menu and disalbe the ‘Show warning message’ option.
Yes, as you can read from the message, it seems a 3rd party plugin is interfering.
More in specific, as you can read from the path of the interfering javascript file, it is part of your theme.
If you are able to create and save the fields, you can ignore that message and disable the warning by using the Show warning message option you find in the Options menu.
If not, go to the Options menu and try enabling the Force reloading 3rd party javascript libraries option.
If even this doesn’t help, you need to contact the theme developer and have that error fixed. Plugin and theme javscript files have not to be included in every admin page, but just in their pages.
Hello, is it possible to have one upload option that uploads to dropbox, and another that uploads to the server? If so, how do I do this? Many thanks, Tom.
Hi Tom,
I’m sorry it is not possible, the plugin is not designed for that.
Hi, the plugin is working correctly in my Spanish pages, however, it doesn’t work in the English pages. The message “loading, please wait” appears and it stays there without showing the file upload box. I’m using the WPML plugin.
Hi,
if that message appears always, it means that something is preventing the plugin javascript libraries to be properly executed (and then manage the hiding/show of that text).
Please give a check to the browser error console to see if any further info is reported.
Try also disabling the other 3rd party plugins to see if any is interfering. Remember also to purge both server and browser cache.
Hi, I used both licenses but one was for a staging site that no longer exists, is possible to unblock that licence to use it again?
The Envato usage license policy allows you to use the software in only one end product (website).
The plugin activation system, however, allows you to activate the license in two domains (the second one is for testing purposes). In each domain, you can activate unlimited subdomains and subfolders.
If you consumed all these options, you need then to buy another license in order to be compliant with the Envato usage policy.
