Hi, I’ve already download Bookly Pro on my website but – because I wanted to write to the support for some questions & because my last webmaster don’t want to give me his Envato Account – I’ve just bought again Bookly Pro with support 6 months. Could you tell me what I’ve to do now? I got the purchase code. Could I mention it on settings on Wordpress and/or download the new Bookly Pro on my website? I’m afraid to break all my settings that I managed already. Thank you i advance for your answer. Best regards.

Hello,

Thank you for your message

Please go to the Bookly Settings – > Purchase Codes and enter the activation key. Afterwards, click on Plugins section, find and update Bookly products to the latest version.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Thanks!

Hello,

I am building a tutoring directory using a directory theme, the theme doesn’t allow booking, the theme owner mentioned that I can use a booking plugin as long as it creates a shortcode for the booking widget

I have few re-sales questions:

1- Does Bookly allow multiple vendors/Tutors (which will be listed in my directory) to use the same plugin to list their own availability and allow end users to book them using the Bookly plugin? From what I saw, I think you guys allow that using the Staff Cabinet add-on, can you confirm?

2- If yes on the above question, does that mean once a tutor signs-up to my directory, I would create a new staff, assign his/her WP user to that staff entry in bookly, create a shortcode for that staff, then add the shortcode to the tutor directory listing which will show his own calendar/booking? Correct?

3- When the staff logs in to manage his/her calendar or to see the bookings, I am assuming that he/she only can see and manage his own calendar only. Correct?

4- If I allow the end users to pay when they book, is there a way that the money goes directly to the tutor (staff) after deducting a commission which goes to me (the admin)?

Thanks in advance!

Hello,

Thank you for your message.

1) With Staff cabinet add-on, your staff members can have their personal access to their appointments without entering your WP admin panel.

2) Yes, that’s correct.

3) Yes, your staff member can see only the appointments which are assigned to him.

4) I’m afraid such option is not supported. You can leave your request here: https://ideas.booking-wp-plugin.com/boards/feature-requests and if it gets enough votes, it might be implemented in the future release.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Thanks!

Hi. I have a specific question: The customer {appointment_notes} can be shown in the Emails but why there is no possibility to show them in the calendar? Thanks

Hello!

Thanks for reaching out.

Currently, appointment notes that your customers make in this field http://prntscr.com/mprnzl can’t be displayed in Bookly calendar.

However, we’re constantly working on improvements and value all feedback.

You can leave your request here: https://ideas.booking-wp-plugin.com/public and if it gets enough votes it might be implemented in the future release.

Can is it possible to restrict hours by day with the same service and same staff?

if not possible, and the schdules by day needs to be varied through staff or service, can the staff/ services be auto selected by default day?

Hello!

Thanks for reaching out.

I’m not quite sure I understand your request. Could you please provide me with more details and give an example?

Apologies for the confusion.

I want to be able to restrict number of people by day and hour

eg.

Monday – 5 – 9pm 10 max pax Tuesday – 5 – 9pm 10 max pax Wednesday – 5 – 9pm 10 max pax Thursday – 5 – 9pm 20 max pax Friday – 5 – 9pm 20 max pax

Do all that without needed to choose service/ staff..

or if those differences in hours and max pax is done by staff/service, is there a way to automatically choose the staff/service automatically.. so that the customer doesnt need to select service

eg… i’ll have 2 services: Service 1(monday to wednesday) -max capacity 20 Service 2(thursday to friday) – max capacity 10

But customer doesnt need to choose the service, it will be automatically allocated

Also… thought i’d ask my other question here… For the google calendar 2 way sync, it seems like the pro version already has a 2 way sync, whats the difference from the Google calendar add on?

Hello!

Thanks for reaching out.

You can create 1 service with capacity 1-20 and assign it to 2 staff members. For the first staff, you should set working days Monday-Wednesday and capacity 1-10. And for the second staff – working days Thursday and Friday and capacity 1-20.

And when inserting a bookly form on a page of your site you can set a default value for service and set “Any” as a default value for staff and hide these fields if necessary: http://prntscr.com/qj9o7p

Regarding your question about Google calendar, we’ll check it and provide you with an answer as soon, as possible.

Thanks!

Hi there!

Which Add-On do I need to get so that users can search availability for multiple bookings simultaneously rather than have to click the “Book More” button if they want to add several appointments to their cart?

For example: The user wants to book Lane 1, Lane 2, and Lane 3 for 6pm-7pm on all 3 lanes. Currently, they search for Lane 1 to see when it’s available, add it, then click “Book More” to then search to see if Lane 2 is also available at the same time. And so on for more lanes.

If they can search to see what times Lane 1, Lane 2, AND Lane 3 are available all at the same time, it will make it much easier for them to find a period where everything they want is available together.

I feel like I had seen an add-on with this capability, but I can’t locate it now.

Thank you!

Hello,

Currently, this functionality is not supported
Please add these details as a new record to our suggestion board: https://ideas.booking-wp-plugin.com/

Hi,

I was wondering (before buying the plugin) if it is possible to not display the “category” and “employee” options? I am on my own and do not provide more then 1 category. If it is possible to disable the options your plugin would be a perfect match!

Thanks for your message.

You can hide these fields in the booking form by following this article: https://support.booking-wp-plugin.com/hc/en-us/articles/212800185-Publish-Booking-Form.

Hi, Here are presale questions : I have been looking at many of your comments and tried to find my answers in it.

Our setup, we are a wellness center, where people book on site and online. Therefore some of them pay on site (over the counter) some online.

1. We want to have everything logged for accountancy, in one place. Online payments of the bookings, l<online sold products in our webshop (Woocommerce), local payments for services (massages/facials/consults), and local sales of products (vitamins / cosmetics) paid through our card reader terminal or cash. We have the Woocommerce POS plugin for the locally sold services and products. is this possible ?

2. We have one page for each category of service : Facials ; Massages ; therapy etc. Each page contains several services. We want to put a booking button or gift button, that would link straight to the right “preset” or “displayed service” in the booking form. Is that possible. Or do they need to manually need to select everything for the drop down menu ?

3. As a manual therapist, i work every 45 minutes. (length of my treatment session) So i want the calendar to let people book the slots on specifc times : 9.00 / 9.45 / 10.30 / 11.15 / 12.00 . Can I set that somewhere to prevent customers to book for ex at 9.30 ?... Otherwise that would occupy 2 potential slots.

4. Can easily and fast book in a recurring unavailability for ex, a lunch break , for a week from the Calendar window ? Can i quickly set myself as punctually unavailable to online bookings for few hours through the Calendar window ?

5. Does your plugin allow staff and services to be assigned to specific rooms ?

6. Could we use along with our services, to do room rental, for freelance teachers that want to give classes / workshops ?

7. Is there a cancelling policy that can be set, for example if people have booked and paid, and they do cancel earlier than 24 hours, do they get an automatic refund?

8. Do you allow different payment methods according to the service or Staff ( For ex : independants staff renting their rooms, should not be involved in our accountancy, so for them it would be great to only allow Paypal, as it allows to store the money on the Paypal account and can be transferred to separate accounts later. But for our services we don’t want Paypal as their rates are extortionate.

9. on the page of the booking form, can I display Woocommerce products to cross sell ? or Do I need to create double entries (For ex if I want to offer to buy a selection of face creams while they have booked their facial, but this cream is already in our Woocommerce webshop) How does this work ?

10. Is it correct to assume that the registered clients through Bookly are merged with the existing client database of Woocommerce ?

11. Is there still no possibilty to display picture/thumbnails of services and a short description ?

12. Do customers see the prices of each services so they do not need to go until the checkout process ?

13. Can we sell memberships with recurring monthly payments ? Can we sell class passes where customers can enroll themselves according to the available class credits they have ?

Many thanks for your Precious help. Sebastiaan

Hello Sebastiaan,

Thank you fr your message.

1) Bookly plugin supports the integration with WooCommerce. The purpose of this integration is to have access to other payment gateways that are not available in Bookly but are supported by WooCommerce. So, if you enable this integration, customers will be redirected to a WooCommerce cart after the details step and payments from Bookly will be disabled. You can check the payment options which are supported by Bookly by following this link: https://support.booking-wp-plugin.com/hc/en-us/articles/212413769

2) You can do it by choosing the default Category option (don’t forget to hide it while adding the form on the page): https://support.booking-wp-plugin.com/hc/en-us/articles/212800185

3) You need to enable this option in Settings: http://prntscr.com/qircy7

4) That can be done only by creating a fake appointment.

5) You can assign services to a specific staff members. If you mean that your services include Rooms as well, I advise you to check our Collaborative services add-on: https://codecanyon.net/item/bookly-collaborative-services-addon/22999632

6) Not quite sure that understood your request correctly. You can add as much services as you want. Could you provide me with some more details concerning your request?

7) I’m afraid refund option is not supported. You can leave your request here: https://ideas.booking-wp-plugin.com/boards/feature-requests and if it gets enough votes, it might be implemented in the future release.

8) There is no option to set up different payment methods according to the staff members or services.

9) You can create WooCommerce products and add booking form on the product’s page.

10) Bookly plugin has separate database of clients. It is not connected to WooCommerce database.

11) It’s possible to display short description http://prntscr.com/qirf5t

12) Yes, all prices can be checked starting from the first step.

13) I’m afraid Memberships option is not supported. You can check Recurring appointments option: https://codecanyon.net/item/bookly-recurring-appointments-addon/19497634

Thanks!

Hi, Thank you very much for your promptness and time, for going through all my questions. I hope they will help others as well.

Related to my previous questions, I have listed the intial question, on which you have responded, and where I would need further explanation

I wish to know if the slot length is customisable per service or is it determining for ALL the services set in the plugin ? Also I want to it, to force people to book on specific times ( 9 / 9:45 / 10.30 / 11.15) but not 9.15 / 10.45 / 11.30) therefore I would loose 15minutes at the start of my day. Is the slot length determined and based on the 1st taken appointment, or does it start from the “opening hours” ?

6. Could we use along with our services, to do room rental, for freelance teachers that want to give classes / workshops ?

I mean by this : We provide in our wellness center, a big room that is available for hourly rental, so freelance teachers can come and rent it. So would that be correct to assume that this room would be setup as a ressource, displayed in the list of services ? There can only be 1 teacher with his own students at a time. So if he wants to rent for 2 hours The teacher that would loggin as a client, can book that room as a service and pay for the desired amount of hours he needs the room for.

8. Do you allow different payment methods according to the service or Staff ?

The only workaround would be to create a subdomain, buy a second plugin, and bind that 2nd plugin to another payment method to relay the money to an account different from the 1st plugin on the main site. Is that correct ?

9. on the page of the booking form, can I display Woocommerce products to cross sell ? or Do I need to create double entries (For ex if I want to offer to buy a selection of face creams while they have booked their facial, but this cream is already in our Woocommerce webshop) How does this work ?

You said : You can create WooCommerce products and add booking form on the product’s page.

Does this mean I need to switch off the payment system of bookly to use the Woocommerce one ? (by creating products that refer/are linked to the bookly service) How does this work with client loggin ? As you said earlier that the 2 client databases are not connected. Do they need to loggin 2x to check out ? If I want to combine woocommerce “recommended products” on the booking page, I will have to switch of Bookly payment gateway ?

Is there a way to use money credit. For example, people buy a 200€ voucher, through Woocommerce, will they be able to use that for Bookly services (as long as the entry is in Woocommerce) ? Is ther a credit system, with point for example for class. Someone that has bought a 10 Yoga session card. And use his credit through the system to book the classes he wants to attend.

Many thanks again for all your help :)

Hello,

Thanks for your reply to Kate and the additional questions.

3. Bookly is designed to work with a weekly schedule. After you set up the staff member’s schedule, this schedule will be repeated for the following weeks. Please note that the system takes into account the staff member’s schedule when rendering available time slots in the front-end/booking. So each service you would specify the service duration and then the system offers availability based on the provider of the service, for example, if service 1 provider’s schedule starts at 9am, then by default, the first slot the system would offer for service 1 is 9am. The slot length determines the interval of the time slots offered in the booking form, for example, if the slot length is 45minutes, then the time slot interval is every 45minutes commencing at 9am. And enabling the “Set slot length as service duration”: https://prnt.sc/qircy7 ensures that all intervals of all services correspond with the service duration.

6. You can offer the room rental as a service as well and just create a staff member (you can call it the Wellness Center Big Room Staff or whatever applies) so the teacher can book the room and pay for it. And if you have the Bookly Collaborative Services Add-on: https://support.booking-wp-plugin.com/hc/en-us/articles/360013222534-Collaborative-Services-Add-on, this will allow you to create services that require simultaneous participation of several staff members, or staff member and shared resources (like rooms, tables, equipment, specific tools, devices, and items) necessary for the service delivery so your customers can book appointments with two or more staff members working together and avoid double bookings of them if the resource is already in use.

8. That could be a possible workaround. The caveat is that you can’t configure a staff member who is available through both the sites. However, there is a workaround: you can connect several staff members (from different sites) to a common Google calendar and set the ‘two-way’ sync mode (provided by Bookly Advanced Google Calendar Add-on). In this case, each appointment will be copied to the Google Calendar and it makes the appointment time unavailable for booking for all staff members that connected to this Google Calendar. Check it out here: https://support.booking-wp-plugin.com/hc/en-us/articles/203572552-Google-Calendar-Sync.

Also, if you go this route, have a look at the Bookly Multisite Add-on: https://support.booking-wp-plugin.com/hc/en-us/articles/207375189-Multisite-Add-on which allows you to use the same copy of Bookly on multiple websites with each site of your network will have its own list of services, staff members, appointments, and its own settings. So you will only need to provide the purchase code for the Bookly plugin for each new site you add in the future.

9. The purpose of the WooCommerce integration is to have access to other payment gateways that are not available in Bookly (but are supported by WooCommerce).

So, if you enable this integration, customers will be redirected to a WooCommerce cart after the details step and payments from Bookly will be disabled. To set this integration, you’ll need a “fake” product that will serve as a “bridge” between Bookly and WooCommerce.

Though, even if you use this integration you’ll sell services from Bookly and not WooCommerce products. The price will be taken from Bookly and other attributes from WooCommerce will be ignored.

The booking process is maintained even with this integration, so you will still book the service by using the booking form and won’t be selling the product from WooCoommerce (which we advise to hide it in order to avoid having confused customers), so the customers will be redirected to a WooCommerce cart after the details step and payments from Bookly will be disabled, so all the payments go through WooCommerce.

So it doesn’t matter how many services you offer, you only need to create only one WooCommerce product and name it, for example, Appointment. And once this is set up in the Bookly settings, this should work well.

And if you want to add supplementary products to the service such as a selection of face creams, Bookly Service Extras add-on: https://support.booking-wp-plugin.com/hc/en-us/articles/207647799-Extra-Products-Treatments-Service-Extras-add-on- allows you to offer extra services, goods, or options to tweak the service (e.g. with more special and/or more expensive tools)

However, if you want the option to sell just the selection of face creams or simply other products with no services, you can still add these products in the services with a corresponding staff member, for example, called face cream staff. Then you make use of the Bookly Tasks Add-on: https://support.booking-wp-plugin.com/hc/en-us/articles/360013214654-How-to-skip-time-slot-selection-Tasks-add-on- so you can create tasks or appointments with no date and time selection.

In lieu of vouchers, you can utilize the Bookly Coupons Add-on: https://support.booking-wp-plugin.com/hc/en-us/articles/115003939373-Coupons-Add-on so you can offer your clients promotional codes to pay for the service or product at a reduced price.

Regarding the point system, the Bookly Packages Add-on: https://support.booking-wp-plugin.com/hc/en-us/articles/115003045634-Packages-Add-on would match this requirement since you can offer package deals for your client’s favorite services and add a discount on packages as well as set a validity period for services booked in package form.

You can find more features and add-ons at https://www.booking-wp-plugin.com/features/. And please check our demos and sandbox: https://www.booking-wp-plugin.com/demo-list/ to discern if Bookly fits your business needs.

If you have additional questions or concerns, you can also send us an email to support@bookly.info with this ticket number 117669 so we could look into it for you.

Hi my client has Bookly pro, he wanted to achieve reconformation of the booking by customer 2-1 days before the appointment date and time. Is there anyway we could make sure yes the customer is coming like by sending a reconformation email or by putting an email somewhere or something where we can find that he knows about it and he is coming to the appointment and those other customer who will not reconfirm their booking it would be canceled before a day of the appointment.

Hello,

Thank you for your message.

If you mean that you want to send the confirmation email before the appointment (reminder) http://prntscr.com/qif61e

You can include {cancel_appointment} shortcode in this email notification and if the customer cancels the appointment, you will be notified.

Let me know if I understood your request correctly.

Thanks!

I have this setup in a development environment to try and link the bookly system to our website.

The problem: When i want to link a product (woocommerce) to bookly and post a bookingform on a product page, everything works smooth and cool.. except.. when i try to finish the booking after filling in a name, phone number email and note, it will add it to the shopping cart and forces users (especially those that aren’t registered yet) to fill in a whopping customer info list to simply book an appointment. Experience says that 7 out of 10 people will not bother and rather just call us or pass by instead of using the booking system this way.

Since we sell physical products on our website as well, we cannot turn the complete woocommerce cart system off.

Is there any way to solve this?

I just want to finish a booking appointment EXACTLY the same way it always goes, except to link it into a product page.

Hello,

The purpose of the WooCommerce integration is to have access to other payment gateways that are not available in Bookly (but are supported by WooCommerce).

Hello,

Thank you for your message.

Unfortunately, we are not able to provide a money back guarantee period anymore as it violates Envato’s Promotional guidelines. In this situation, you can raise a dispute (https://themeforest.net/page/customer_refund_policy#resolving-disputes) and have Envato investigate the matter. Envato will make a decision based on all available information.

But could you tell me what exactly is not working for you?

Will be waiting for your reply.

Hello everyone, everything good? Can you give me a light on how I can solve a problem that is happening with a client. Some people are scheduling for example at 2:00 PM however it is being registered with bookly at 3:00 PM There are clients that mark 10 AM and the system records 11 AM, and so on, I’ve already changed WordPress settings to our time zone and I’ve also changed our VPS settings to -3 GMT and some people are scheduling and the system is recording 1 hour later. Is there any place that I could lock in so it won’t happen anymore? Put some script in php? Thanks.
