Hey, I have a quick question. How come when I upload a vertical photo it automatically flips sideways, and is there is a way to disable it from doing that?
Hi,
please check your inbox (check eventually your spam folder), I’ve replied yesterday to your private message.
Here the answer:
I’m sorry, but the plugin doesn’t automatically flip vertical images. Images preview are displayed according to the Exif orientation metadata encoded in the image metadata. If they are not properly encoded (it may happen for some iOs devices) the images are displayed with a wrong orientation by the browser.
If you, however, send me the image for which you are experiencing the issue, I can try to implement (if possible) a workaround to prevent that behavior.
My website is: https://www.theknightedpup.com/
No problem!
I’m sorry, but from my tests the photo seems to be properly managed: https://www.dropbox.com/s/kttr9pyp73sljj1/wcuf_altered_photo.png?dl=0
It could be that imgur alters it by re-encoding the exif data. Could you eventually send me the photo directly via email?
Thank you.
Just sent you the original photo via email!
Got it! Check the inbox!
I purchased the plugin and activated the license in my development site, now i want to activate the license on the live site, and deactivate it on the development site, but i am not being able to do so. Please help me
Hi,
the plugin permits to activate the license in two distinct domains: one for testing purpose and the second for production purpose. For each of those domains, you can reactivate in any of their subdomains (or subfolder) unlimited times.
So you can just install in the live site and activate it without any problem.
Hi, Where can I get a live demo of your plugin ? It doesnt seem to be working on the link you provided.
Thanks
- https://www.codecanyon.eu/wcuf/wp-admin/

- pass: demo
I’ve just performed some tests and the site is properly accessible and the login data is correct. Make sure you aren’t using any proxy that may restrict the access to that site.
Hi, just saw it, thanks, where can I find the documentation of the plugin ? I need a plugin which lets the users to upload their photo before checkout/payment page. does this do that ? Can I see how this functions ?I’m new to this so pardon me if you find my questions stupid. Thanks
Hi,
the documentation can be found in the plugin description page, after the infographic.
Yes, the plugin allows you to upload photos on the product, cart and/or checkout page.
You can preview and fully test the software before purchasing using the demo site in order to be sure it actually fits your needs and expectations.
Hi there
I’ve extended the support for this and have realized that the plugin is conflicting with WP Bakery.
Did you want to take a look?
Hi,
what do you mean that it is conflicting with WP Bakery? Could you provide a more detailed description? Thank you.
Hello, I’ve renewed my support and sent you a message with details to our site and logins. https://wpbakery.com/ is the plugin its seems to be having an issue with. We want the upload section to only appear on the Cart and checkout pages only not on products!
Thank you for sharing the access.
I’ve performed some tests, and it seems that those pages are not properly triggering the WooCommerce actions fired by the template when it renders the subsections of the page (before rendering the cart table, after that, before rendering the “proceed to checkout button”, etc).
More in specific, it seems that is triggering multiple times the:- woocommerce_before_cart_table
- woocommerce_checkout_before_customer_details
The plugin detects this kind of bad behavior to avoid the upload area to be rendered more than one time. This is done by displaying the upload area only when the actions to which it hooks have been triggered the first time. The following triggerings are ignored.
The template, however, seems to be ignoring the output of the first action triggering.
To workaround this strange behavior, I’ve modified the- WCUF_CartPage.php, commented line 63 and 64
- WCUF_CheckoutPage.php, commented line 118 and 119
Now it seems working: https://www.dropbox.com/s/tzwlqvy3nrb507r/wcuf_cart_page_fix.png?dl=0
I’ve also updated the plugin. You were running the 44.6 version, the latest is the 53.2
If you update in future the plugin, make sure you restore the modification I’ve listed earlier! I hope you enjoy!
Thank you very much for your assistance and help resolving this, much appreciated and looks great!
You’re welcome!
At last but not least, I would ask you to support me: If you enjoyed my efforts to assist you and/or my plugin please consider leaving the 5 stars, I would really appreciate it!
(to leave a rating: go to your profile page, click on “Downloads” and from there you can rate to your purchases.
You can also leave the rating in the through the plugin description page: https://www.dropbox.com/s/28dae6pnqvbccmm/rating_area.jpg?dl=0).
Have a great day!
Hai Team
Does this plugin support multiple image upload for the same product?
Hi,
yes, you can upload multiple files (and so images) for the same product.
If you want to add the same product to the cart multiple times, and every time associate different files, just enable the Products addable multiple times to cart feature through the special menu for the products you wish (or to all): https://www.dropbox.com/s/pagsilzzj9o78of/wcuf_multiple_times.png?dl=0
The plugin has a demo site where you can fully test the software before purchasing in order to be sure it actually fits your needs and expectations. If you need further info, feel free to ask.
ok
Good morning with the new version I can’t upload to mac safari
how should I do
Hi,
as reported in the plugin page, the plugin requires a fully HTML5 compliant browser and it officially supports Firefox, Chrome, and Edge. Unfortunately, several versions of Safari are not compliant with HTML5 standards.
but i have your older version which is working perfectly ???
As you can imagine, new versions introduce new features (or some of them have been redesigned) that may not work if the browser is not fully HTML5 compliant.
This is why the requirements are clearly reported on the plugin page and why Safari is not officially supported (due to its well know instability).
Try eventually clearing your server and browser cache. There could be a chance that the browser is not properly loading the new version javascript libraries (loading instead some cached in its cache). If this doesn’t help, try eventually disabling the other 3rd party plugins to see if any is interfering.
ok
Hi there,
Firstly this plugin is awesome! we are trying to use this for our other site but we only want the upload section to appear before the cart but using this [wcuf_upload_form] doesn’t seem to work?
Are we missing anything?
Hi,
thank you for your appreciation
If you want to display the upload field on the cart page, there is no need to use the shortcode.
Just enable the option to display the upload field in the cart page: https://www.dropbox.com/s/1lq0o1ti5lcuoth/wcuf_visibility_cart_page.png?dl=0
Then eventually select in which position fields have to be shown: https://www.dropbox.com/s/uigk9hq7vcjeghd/wcuf_cart_positioning.png?dl=0
Thank you for the swift reply, we’ve got that ticked but the upload section does not appear?
Unfortunately without any further clue, it is hard to determine the cause.
Make sure you are running the latest 53.1 plugin version and that you have not enabled any option to restrict the field visibility (by user role, order status, payment gateway) and you have not disabled the standard managment for the cart page in the Options menu.
Try also disabling all the 3rd party plugin to see if any is interfering.
If none of the previous helped, if you renew your support license and If you send me via private message (click on my name and then use the low-right box) the following data:- your email address
- full admin access to the wp-admin area
- FTP access
- link to the cart page
I can try performing some further tests to see if it possible to determine the cause.
When the order is placed: https://www.dropbox.com/s/29pjlrcy4p0xjk8/wcuf_options_checkout.jpg?dl=0
Adesso funziona, grazie!
Ottimo!
grazie mille!
Hi, I have a few pre-sales questions; I want to add 10 upload fields which each image has to have own textarea box. customer can add any details for each uploaded image, one by one. I tried at your demo via duplicated upload field. But there is only one textarea for all uploaded images. Secondly, is your plugin compatible woo Product Add-Ons – https://woocommerce.com/products/product-add-ons/. Regards
Hi,
I’m sorry, but the plugin doesn’t allow to enter a text for each image. The text field is specific per upload field.
The plugin hasn’t any specific support for the woo Product Add-Ons plugin, however, they should work together without interfering.
Hi, Thanks for your quick reply. May I twick it at child theme to add additional text fields? Regards
I’m sorry, you cannot
ok ,thanks
Hi,
i’m working with your plugin but it seems to have a bug at uploading something. The Button for upload file just does not work. Is there a common problem with it ?
Best,
Kevin Hecht
Hi Kevin,
as you can test in the demo site, the upload process properly works without any issue.
Most likely, in your case, the issue could be caused by a 3rd party interference. However, without any further clue, it is quite hard to determine the cause.
Could you try giving a look at the browser error console to see if any further info is reported? If you try to disable all your 3rd party plugins, are you still getting the issue?
Hi,
First of all thanks for your fast replay. This is out of the console:
JQMIGRATE: Migrate is installed, version 1.4.1 wcuf-frontend-global-error-catcher.js:9 WCUF managed a unhandled/uncaught error by 3rd party plugin. This may cause the WCUF plugin to not properly work wcuf-frontend-global-error-catcher.js:10 Error caught[via window.onerror]: Uncaught TypeError: callback is not a function wcuf-frontend-global-error-catcher.js:11 from: https://emmiland.vigon.de/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce-upload-files/js/wcuf-image-size-checker.js?ver=5.3 wcuf-frontend-global-error-catcher.js:12 line: 39
You may habe a look at:
https://emmiland.vigon.de/warenkorb/I deactivated plugin after plugin (exapt for woocommerce) but nothing seems to work for me.
Thank you for sharing the page, however I do not see any error: https://www.dropbox.com/s/5p409zqbn3ga3wt/wcuf_step_1.png?dl=0
If I try to upload a file, I properly see the progress bar: https://www.dropbox.com/s/1smwhel8jelrv17/wcuf_step_2.png?dl=0
However, when the page is reloaded, I do not see the file. This usually happens when the server is not properly managing the user session or if a 3rd party plugin alters the user session. Fix that server issue (or identify the software that interferes) and should no longer experience the user session issue.
Hi Can you please help with an issue that orders being placed on the website are coming through but the image that customers attach is NOT coming through on the order on email or on the Wordpress backend orders? Thank you
Hi,
this kind of issue usually are related to the fact that user is not properly landing on the thank you page.
Please, go to the Options menu, and under the Files to order association method area, select the When the order is placed option: https://www.dropbox.com/s/29pjlrcy4p0xjk8/wcuf_options_checkout.jpg?dl=0
Hi Thank you for your help, we have changed to “When the order is placed” & will see when the next order comes in if it works, thank you for your support.
You’re welcome!
Hello,
i want to ask about upload field loading… is it possible to disable loading… on the product category that not using upload field because it will be slowing customer order process
Hi,
if you want to disable an upload field only for specific categories, use the special visibility restriction option while configuring the field: https://www.dropbox.com/s/wn5g6wzomx3vjv7/wcuf_visibility_6.jpg?dl=0
just choose the category for which it has not to be displayed!
i already do that option
but what i want to achieve is forbid the loading…
from the product category that not using upload field. because loading process still occur even if those product not using upload field
what should i do to achieve that?
What do you mean to “forbid the loading”? could you provide a more detailed description? Do you mean that the field is shown also for those products belonging to a category for which it has not to be shown?
no, the field not showing which is correct
but loading process still occur.. like it have to shown upload field
https://www.dropbox.com/s/4xhf46zz3kxb5h1/Loading.jpg?dl=0it suppose not shown because those product not using wcuf
I’m sorry, that cannot be “disabled” if the following option is enabled: https://www.dropbox.com/s/a5kqpijk39mj17k/wcuf_variation_visibility.jpg?dl=0
The plugin associates for each variation a specific upload field that is dynamically loaded when the variation is selected.
More in specific: when a variation is selected, the product page sends a notification to the backend that processes the current variation eventually returning the upload field (if any is associated with the variation).
This asynchronous operation is not instant, so meanwhile it is performed, that text is shown.
Hi. I recently purchased you Upload Files plugin. Kudos on a nice product! I have one problem to solve that I can’t find in the documentation.
It seems that the photos that get uploaded, get resampled/resized. I need the photos to remain their original size as we are using this plugin to collect images for a Photo Contest. The photos will be printed out on photo paper for display and judging, so I need them to be not altered.
Please advise
Hi,
thank you for your appreciation
I’m sorry, but the plugin is not performing any resize or resample operation of uploaded files.
The only resize operation is performed when serving image preview in the frontend. To disable this option, go to the Options menu and iunder the Image preview method area select the Old option.
Hello i set all settings. But i cant add it on my product page (i use flatsome)
Hi,
make sure that you have enabled the option to display the field on the product page: https://www.dropbox.com/s/9wbs32arhqk4fwt/wcuf_visibility_4.jpg?dl=0
Make also sure you have not enabled any option to restrict visibility (like for user role or payment gateway).
In case of variable product, you have to first choose a variation before the uplaod field for that variation is shown.
hey i set all settings how do you say. But its not working on my product page only on my checkout page…
[wcuf_product_page_upload_form] where i put that shortcode ?
The [wcuf_product_page_upload_form] can be placed in any part of the product page where shortcode is supported.
If you enable that option, you need however to Disable upload field standard managment for Product pages in the Options menu.
Note however that to show the upload area on the product page, there is no need to use that shortcode.
Have you tried to disable the other 3rd party plugins to see if any is interfering?
If you send me via private message (click on my name and then use the low-right box) the following data:- your email address
- full admin access to the wp-admin area
- FTP access
- link to a product page where I can experience the issue
I can perform some further analysis. Thank you.
“If you enable that option, you need however to Disable upload field standard managment for Product pages in the Options menu.”
Where can i find that on plugin option, theme option ? which ?
You can find it in the Options menu: https://www.dropbox.com/s/snf0dg17ie0p5ad/wcuf_disable_standard_management.jpg?dl=0
not working only on check out page
help pls
I’ll answer to your private message, however, you did not include any of the information I requested (including your email address).
The reply will be sent to the email address associated with your account. Make sure it is working.
1) We are unable to get your Woo Commerce Upload Files plugin to add “additional costs” to the shopping cart based on the length of audio/video files uploaded. The length is calculated but the $$$ amount is not changing automatically. Can you tell us how to do this, please?
2) Ideally, we do not want to start with a base price. We want to charge exclusively on the length of audio/video files uploaded – is this possible?
We want to buy your plugin asap but we can’t if the cart will not charge based on the length of the file.
Hi,
for that try the following options: https://www.dropbox.com/s/3vovpo3b4n5rccn/wcuf_price_per_second.png?dl=0
Make also sure that files have been properly encoded, otherwise, the plugin won’t be able to recognize the number of seconds and so charge the proper amount.
Before any purchase, perform all the tests you need using the demo site in order to be sure it actually works as you expect.
In the admin panel for the test account we cannot find the page that you are referencing. Can you confirm that this is accessible in the test account and can you please give us the menu path to find it? Maybe you can make a video?
Yes. That is the upload field configuration too. To access it just click the Upload files configurator menu and then create a new field (or edit an existing one). Its options can be accessed by clicking the Show/Hide field options button (the green one).
hi. i need your help. i’m using Woocommerce Upload Files plugin on my website. but i have problem. when i using pay with credit card, i cant see upload files on wp-admin panel. but when i pay with transfer/eft, everythis is okey.
Hi,
usually, this kind of issue depends on the fact that the user is not properly landing on the thank you page after the payment process.
Please go to the Options menu and select the When the order is palced option under the Files to order association method area: https://www.dropbox.com/s/29pjlrcy4p0xjk8/wcuf_options_checkout.jpg?dl=0
Okey, thank you..
Hi! Could you please tell me what happens if I set the uploads to e.g. four files and the client only uploads three files? Will the purchasing process still continue or is it then interrupted and the client is asked to upload the requested amount of four files? Thanks for your help! All the best!
Hi,
if you wish to set an exact amount of files that have to be uploaded, just set the minimum and maximum uploadable files as 4.
So, if the user uploads less than 4 files, he will be warned about the missing files.
If you want to make the field mandatory (so the customer must upload those files, otherwise the checkout won’t be completed), just enable the special “mandatory” option.
Here the options to enable: https://www.dropbox.com/s/mtixu62fip765rn/wcuf_min_max_mandatory.jpg?dl=0
The plugin has a demo site where you can fully test before purhcasing that features in order to be sure it works as you expect. If you need further info, feel free to ask!
Hi Valentina,
it seems that theme is defining some custom CSS rules for that element that interferes with the ones defined by the plugin (that has been designed to work with the standard CSS rules defined for the product page).
- edit the wcuf-frontend-ui-manager.js you find in the js folder inside the plugin
- comment line 122
It should work. Let me know!
Hello
Im experiencing an issue with your plugin “WooCommerce Upload Files”. I want the upload field to only be displayed when the customer choses “yes” on the question if he wants hes logo printet and so on.
But it currently is always being shown. My first instinct was to fix this issue with a shortcode, so i used the given shortcodes from the item details page. But with no luck.
Can you please help me with this issue?
Here is the link to the website im working on thats using your plugin: http://sortiment.dk/
Example of a product with the upload field: http://www.sortiment.dk/vare/urban-oxford-shirt/
I’m sorry, but the plugin hasn’t any specific option to show/hide the upload area according to the value of a custom field.
You can, however, do the following:- restore the normal upload area behavior (I mean, do not use the shortcode)
- Edit the wcuf-frontend-cart-checkout-product-page.js.php file you find in the js folder inside the plugin and comment line 96. Once done, go to the Options menu and just hit the Update button (this will recreate the internal cache that will make sure the modification to that file takes effect)
- In your custom javascript code, once the yes has been chosen, invoke the following function to show the area:
wcuf_show_upload_field_area();
- if you optionally want to hide when the “hide” is clicked, just use this following custom code:
jQuery('#wcuf_'+wcuf_current_page+'_ajax_container').animate({ opacity: 0 }, 500);
This is an untested modification. Give a try and let me know!
Hmm im not quite sure i understand. This is the text thats being told in the item details page: “Would you like to show the upload fields form only on a specific page? or maybe would you like to render the upload form in a custom area or in a text area during the checkout proces? Now you can!”
Now if these shortcodes actually worked then it should be working if i inserted the [wcuf_upload_form] in the description of the “yes/no” area of the upload field. But it dosent show up at all.
Im not quite sure what these shortcodes should be used for otherwise..
But if you have a solution im willing to give you admin access to the website since we’ve payed for support.
The shortcodes allow you to render the upload area on a custom page area. Note however that if that area is shown via ajax, this will prevent the upload field assets (js and CSS) to be loaded so it won’t work.
In the page you shared, unfortunately, I’m not able to understand which is the “yes/no” description area. Could point it? and which is the button that should display the upload area? how exactly that mechanism has been implemented?
Before sharing me the access, please make sure of the fowllowing:
as reported in the shortcode paragraph (you will find it under the infographic), you have not to use the generic [wcuf_upload_form], but the specific [wccuf_product_page_upload_form] shortcode. Make also sure you have enable the Options -> Disable upload field standard management for the product page: https://www.dropbox.com/s/snf0dg17ie0p5ad/wcuf_disable_standard_management.jpg?dl=0
Let me know if this helps.
So what i’ve done is ive made an option inside this product: http://www.sortiment.dk/vare/urban-sweatshirt/
Where the field “want your logo printet on the product?” has two options yes and no. In the yes option i have inserted the shortcode [wcuf_upload_form]. I tried first with different shortcodes from other plugins and features in the site with success. So it is possible to use shortcodes in this fashion.
But for some reason if i try to use this, it either dosen’t show anything at all or completely ruins the product (making it loading indefinite).
I’ve send you a login so you can check for yourself.
Thank you for sharing the link of the page.
I’ve checked the browser error console, and it the issue is related to the fact that some of javascript assests of the plugin are not properly loaded: https://www.dropbox.com/s/973iu6o09lbw7nl/wcuf_js_asset_issue.png?dl=0
I’ve analyzed the page html source code, and it seems that container is unproperly loading some of the javascript libraries of the plugin: https://www.dropbox.com/s/vfc41fh13pom6p1/wcuf_unproper_js_loading.png?dl=0 intestead of using hte default “script” tag. Why is doing this, however, I cannot tell.
Fix this issue by making sure that the assets are loaded in the standard way, and you should no longer experience the issue.
I’ve performed some further analysis. I’ve noticed that every time a value is selected (yes or not) the area performs an ajax request loading the content of that area: https://www.dropbox.com/s/xmcuzgaoj65mg13/wcuf_ajax_request.png?dl=0
This is the cause of the issue. As reported in the previous message, this kind of mechanism prevents the plugin assets to be properly loaded (javascript and CSS) and the upload area to be properly rendered.
Disable this behavior, and you should no longer experience the issue.
Yes i can disable this issue. But then comes another issue, i still havent gotten the result im looking for.
I want there to be an option for the customer to choose if they want to purchase the product with logo print. But in the way the plugin is used right now – the upload feature is always there and for a user this can be seemed as “annoying” or maybe they get the sense that they have to upload a logo to purchase the product.
How can i fix this issue? Im not the best when it comes to coding so thats not an option.
I’m sorry actually that is not an issue or a malfunctioning that can be “fixed”.
As can be tested in the demo site before purchasing, the plugin hasn’t any feature to selectively display the upload area according to a custom field value (it not even reported on the description page).
The support service, unfortunately, doesn’t include any customization service.
If you have a particular need of a custom feature (like in this case) I can point eventually a custom code solution (that I’ve shared in the previous comment) but I cannot implement it.
In case instead, you are using the plugin in conjunction with a 3rd party plugin that prevents the plugin to properly work, I can assist on finding the cause of the issue (and eventually suggest how to fix it), but I cannot provide support for 3rd party software.
A solution could be to contact the developer of the “yes/no” option plugin and ask if there is an option to disable the ajax loading of that area. It has to be just shown/hidden via javascript.
Or eventually, find another plugin that is performing that action without using ajax mechanism to load data from the server.
Its not a 3rd party software thats creating the “yes/no” field. Its simply just a variation in the woocommerce product..
Whats the reason for you not being able to implement the code?
What do you mean that is not a 3rd party software that is creating that field?
By default, WooCommerce, when a variation is selected, won’t show/load any additional container (as it happens in your site) and won’t show swatches as it happens for the “Farve” and “Størrelse” options. So actually the variation management is not the default one and it has been altered.
Furthermore, As can be seen in the screenshot shared earlier: https://www.dropbox.com/s/xmcuzgaoj65mg13/wcuf_ajax_request.png?dl=0
Your installation triggers a special “loadWooDiscountedPriceForVariant” action that is not part of the default WooComemrce behavior and the javascript libraries are passed as a parameter to a special form “variations_form_cart” container: https://www.dropbox.com/s/xmcuzgaoj65mg13/wcuf_ajax_request.png?dl=0
That is not normal WooCommerce behavior.
The plugin has not been designed to support that custom product page behavior or to be used in a container that is loaded via ajax.
If you instead restore the normal variation management, and you want to bound the upload field only to specific variations, you can use the special visibility option you find while configuring the field and bound the field to all the “yes” variations: https://www.dropbox.com/s/7zssmzm6b69ydro/wcuf_visibility_3.jpg?dl=0 In this way, every time the user selects one of the variations that has the “yes” attribute, the plugin will load the upload field for it.
