Hi, Is this plugin compatible with “WOOCOMMERCE PRODUCT ADD-ONS ULTIMATE” plugin (https://pluginrepublic.com/wordpress-plugins/woocommerce-product-add-ons-ultimate/)?

Hi,
the plugin hasn’t any specific support for that plugin features. If you want to test both togeher, if you send me via private message (click on my name and then use the low-right box) you email address, I can reply with mine where you can send me that plugin. Once done, I’ll set up the private demo site and I will send the login data.

hi, it is not letting me activate the plugin. It is saying my username is invalid. can you confirm how i can activate this?

Hi,
you have just to insert the purchase-code and the username.

Make sure you are using a fully HTML5 compliant browser like Chrome or FireFox. Try eventually temporarily deactivating all the other 3rd party plugins.

Hi,

How to show add to cart button with upload filed. Right now upload field is showing and after finishing upload then add to cart appearing. I want both show simultaneously. Please help

Hi,
in the case of a mandatory upload field, the plugin is designed to show the add to cart button only after the upload has been performed. In this way, the plugin denies the product to be added to the cart without performing the required upload.

Hello, after installing and configurating Woocommerce Upload Files, there is no preview of jpg or png images after uploading a file, but only an empty field or kind of substitute image frame. Using pdf, I get the correct symbol. If I activate “Crop” in the fields media section, the image is displayed! Afterwards I can`t delete the crop Image any more and have to delete the whole field and create a new one to get rid of the crop function. But the file is named correctly. I can send you a screenshot. I ask for help, it`christmas = buyers time…best regards and thanks Simone Schmidt code e0b460bc-4ddf-494a-98b4-e5a1f8c53666

Hi,
Simone, regarding the image preview issue it usually dependes on a server issue that is not able to compute and serve the image preview. Ti try to avoid that, go to the Options menu and under the Image preview method try selecting the Old option: https://www.dropbox.com/s/orq3a0xazy0aat5/wcuf_image_preview_option.jpg?dl=0

Regarding the “crop” feature, what do you mean that you have to delete the whole field? You mean to delete all the upload files or to delete the field via the backend? Could you provide a more detailed description of the issue?

Thank you.

Hi to the Envato Market Team,

thank you for your feedback!

To be more precise:

- old is already selected - the field means the upload field via backend, menu item “upload files configurator”. I have to delete the whole field after activating the crop option in the visibility area and create a new one.

Deactivating, saving and reload/F5 on the product/checkout pages does not help to get rid of crop function.

But the preview works with the crop option, you can see the image and the crop selection in grey.

If it is a server issue, how can that be possible?

Best regards, Simone Schmidt

Hi Simone,
it seems that you have some sort of caching issue (are you using any caching/optimizer plugin?). Disabling the Crop option via the upload field, won’t make the crop controller be displayed anymore in the upload field are.
If so, it could be that your server, for some reasons, is still serving an old cached page version in which the upload area had the crop controller (this caching issue could be also the cause of the preview issue).

Just to be sure, could you use the demo site: https://www.codecanyon.eu/wcuf/wp-admin/ (user: demo, pass: demo) to recreate the exact configuration of yours and report me if you experience the issue?

Regarding the image previews, they are computed server-side: the preview are a compressed version of the original image (this is for performance reasons). If they are not properly displayed, it means that the server have some issue on peforming the compression. This however doesn’t depend on the plugin.
Switching however to the “old” method, however, will prevent the image to be manipulated, so it is served as it is. If you still have issue, it could be depend on a caching issue or due to a 3rd party plugin interference. As you can imagine, however, without any further clue, it is quite hard to determine the cause.

Could you please disable all your 3rd party plugins and report me if you still get the issue?

Thank you.

Hi! How many files can I upload within one order? Is it limited to only one file or can I set it to more? Thanks for your reply!

Hi,
by default, there isn’t any limitation. You can, however, set the number of uploadable files and the file size limit.

The plugin has a demo site where you can fully test its features in order to be sure they actually fit your needs and expectations before purchasing. If you have any further questions, feel free to ask!

There is a bug which is causing fatal error. The error was occurred when I clicked “Uploads details sheet” button in order details.

Error log:

PHP Recoverable fatal error: Object of class WP_Comment could not be converted to string in /home/topptransfers/public_html/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce-upload-files/template/uploads_details_sheet_page.php on line 312<code> </code>

You’re welcome! :)

Does ob_end_flush(): and zlib compression have something to do with the plugin?

Found this error in the log: PHP Notice: ob_end_flush(): failed to send buffer of zlib output compression (0) in /home/topptransfers/public_html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 4469

If no, then adding this line as solution to the error above wouldn’t hurt the functionality of your plugin?

remove_action( 'shutdown', 'wp_ob_end_flush_all', 1 );

It seems that eror is related to the wp_ob_end_flush_all() function invokation.

The plugin doesn’t invoke that function, so the code you inserted should not interfere.

Note however that that is a notice, not an error. So it won’t affect the plugin behavior :)

Hi. I am using the plugin in the “Basel” by Xtemos. Whatever I did, I dont see the upload form on any page. I have setup the pluging just like in the demo – But nothing happand. I have place the shortcodes on the Envato plugin’s pge – It didnt work. Very frustrated and need help. Thanks

Hi,
unfortunately, without any further clue, it is quite hard to determine the cause.

Are you sure you have not enabled any option to restrict the upload area visibility (like visibility per user role, payment gateway, standard upload field management)? If you try disabling the other 3rd party plugins, are you still getting the issue?

If none of above helped, If you send me via private message (click on my name and then use the low-right box) the following data:
  1. your email address
  2. full admin access to the wp-admin area
  3. FTP access
  4. a detailed step by step guide on how to experience the issue

I can try performing some further tests. Thank you.

I just bought the plugin, and I believe my activation got tied to my staging site…these addresses change everytime I create one. How can I verify/fix it being tied to my primary domain?

Thanks Matt

Hi Matt,
don’t worry, the plugin allows you to activate it in two distinct domains and unlimited subdomains and subfolders of the already activated domains. So you have activated it in the staging site, you can still activate in the production site.

For what concerns the feedback, yes you right. The plugin is designed to manage uploads, not text attachment to products. You need to upload a file and in order to attach a text to it (feedback is related to the upload).

Ok that makes sense. However my concern about the staging site is that it is different than my live site domain, and it changes everytime I regenerate a staging site. I think this is fine for now as it should stay a variation of XXXX.XXXX.myftpupload.com/ but wasn’t sure if I could lose testing functionality if they change their structure/domain name format or I move hosts etc.

if the staging is on a subdomain of the production domain, you can activate unlimited times! :)

Buonasera,

avrei una domanda in merito al plugin di upload.

E’ possibile far comparire il form a prescindere nella pagina prodotto?

Grazie mille.

Ah ok, a prescindere dalla selezione delle variazione. Mi ero perso un pezzo! :)

Hello. Let me say that the plugin is amazing and almost exactly what I was looking for. But when accessing the mobile version of the site, the crop area appears cropped. How can I fix it? Thanks in advance.

Hi,
thank you for your appreciation :)

As reported in the Compability paragraph in the plugin description page (after the infographic), the plugin is designed to work for desktop version of the browsers. It hasn’t any specific support for mobile.

What I can say is to make sure that the upload area is displayed in area that has enough minimum space to be properly rendered (like cart page).
Try also adjusting the crop area dimentions throught the Options -> Crop controller area (bottom of the page).

So I’ve been thinking. It woudl be to difficult to write a condition on the code? Something like “if ‘mobile’, than replace with ‘messasge’ – true/false” And the message could be personalized, but’d say “Please, login from a computer to upload the required files”. If one don’t want to replace the uploader on mobile, just set to false, in my case, I’d keep in true and write the message I want in portuguese.

yes, it could work, however, the plugin hasn’t inbuilt any function to detect mobile browsing.

There are several PHP libraries that however allow you to do that (for example http://mobiledetect.net/ ). Once you embed it in your WordPress installation, you can invoke the detecting function on the top fo the following templates cropper.php and croppper_for_multiple.php you find inside the <stng>template directory showing the controller if it, not a mobile otherwise, display the message you wish!

Hello,

I’m not sure whether it started happening after an update in the theme or a plugin but when i go to the admin page and view the order, it shows that customer hasn’t uploaded any files…. yet. i tested it from my testing account and received the same message. what can be done to fix it?

Hi,
as you can imagine, without any further clue, it is quite hard to determine the cause and eventually a fix.

What I can say is to make sure you are running the latest 52.9 plugin version. Make sure that your customers are properly landing into the Thank you page after the payment has been completed, in case go to the Options menu and select the Wehn the order is placed option under the Checkout – Files to orders association mehtod area: https://www.dropbox.com/s/eg3cb8qefunwx8w/wcuf_checkout_placement_option.jpg?dl=0

If none of the above helped, try disabling all the 3rd party plugins to see if any is interfering.

Hi,
To request support you need to use the account used to purchase the plug-in.

Hi, I configured the plugin but I can’t see any file uploaded… Where they are stored? Do I need check some directory on server?

Hi,
what do you mean that you do not see any file uploaded? Could you provide a more detailed description of the workflow?

Files are stored in the “wp-content/uploads/wcuf” folder. Make sure that no 3rd party plugins are interfering and make sure that you customer are properly landing in the thank you page once an order is completed. Try eventually using the “When the order is placed” option for the “Files to order association method”: https://www.dropbox.com/s/eg3cb8qefunwx8w/wcuf_checkout_placement_option.jpg?dl=0

I already did and checked the fodler but after the upload start there’s no succesful message that confirm me the file has been uploaded. No file in the directory and no message of completed download.

In which page are performing the upload? note that if you performing it in the product, cart or checkout page, you have to complete the checkout process and place an order in order to have those files associated to the order and so be able to download them via the admin order details page.

Try also disabling the other 3rd party plugins to see if you still experience the issue and try also giving a look to the browser error console to see if any further clue is reported

Hi,

Question about the woocommerce upload files plugin, before I want to buy it. If a customer orders a print from the bought product and he wants 10 copies of that pdf file. does the plugin add something extra to the name of the pdf or is the quantity only visible in the order details?

kind regards,

Frank

For this purpose, you could use the quantity selector. Enable the special option: https://www.dropbox.com/s/s2wqkw3mrtjlmia/wcuf_quantity_selector_general_option.jpg?dl=0

Once done, each file will have its “quantity” selector: https://www.dropbox.com/s/gnxzgnlmxmdtxcs/wcuf_quantity_selector_3.jpg?dl=0 through which the user can set a “quantity” value for each uploaded file.

Those values will be lately reported in the admin order details page.

You can test that feature using the demo site. Perform all the tests you need before purchasing to be sure it actually works as you expect! If you need further info, feel free to ask! :)

Ok, so I in the file name of the uploade pdf file nothing changed. The quantity is only visible in the backend of the order. It would be nice if for example name.pdf is uploaded and the customer wants 10 prints of it that the name is changed to name_q10.pdf so I could automate it somehow.

I’m sorry but unfortunately, the plugin hasn’t such a feature :(

Grazie, ti dico entro breve. Sto dialogando con gli sviluppatori del tema, non troppo ricettivi: vediamo cosa mi dicono in base anche alle tue indicazioni.

Hello,

I’m using this plugin in high activity product page (few upload sessions may be active in parallel). From time to time (5-10% of the orders) I’m informed by the customer that the wrong file was attached to their order (not the file they uploaded). File size varies 1-20MB, Temp file clear interval in the configuration: 120min, All files are uploaded to Dropbox.

What should I check? Is it related to a misconfigured cache plugin? Max session limit on this WCUF version that was fixed since then?

WCUF39.1 WC3.3.4 WP4.9.1 PHP7.3

Other than that, great plugin and excellent support, thank you so much.

Hi,
thank you for your appreciation.

Yes, caching plugin may be interefering, bnfortuantely without any further clue it is quite hard to say. Try eventually disabling it for a period to see if you still experience the issue.

Please make also sure you are running the latest 52.9 version of the plugin. To manually update just deactivate and delete the old plugin version and then install the new one. Don’t worry you won’t lose any data

If you can provide a step by step guide on how to experience the issue, I can eventually log into your system (wp-admin and FTP access is required) to peform some futher debug.

Thank you.

Hi, I wanted to ask for information, do you think it would be possible to integrate “Woocommerce-upload-files” with “WP Configurator – WooCommerce WordPress” that I already implemented on my domain?

Thanks for your attention Kind regards silvio

Hi,
what do you mean with “integrate”? Could you provide a more detailed description?

Thank you.

Hi, I need to insert a plugin for “upload files”, currently I have implemented a site with this plugin “WP Configurator – WooCommerce WordPress”. The goal would be to integrate the two plugins together (so that once the final product is configured with WPConfigurator, it is possible to attach files to the final order with “Woocommerce-upload-files”), the question was whether you had already had compatibility experience

Thanks silvio

I’m really sorry, the plugin hasn’t any support for that 3rd party plugin and its features :(

Hello, is there any way to make different variation changes (example: image-paper change, or image size change) not to reload all of the images in the upload field? Can I make all uploaded images with their own variations(like in the example)?

Hi,
what do you mean with “reload all the of the images in the upoad field”?

If you wish to associate an upload field for each variation, enable the following option: https://www.dropbox.com/s/1x65igs70kx6gch/wcuf_variation_conf.jpg?dl=0

If instead you wish to add same variation different time to cart (so each one will have its own uploaded files) enable the Products addable multiple times to cart option for that product (or just for all).

If none of above, please provide a more detailed description :)

Thank you for the quick answer! It seems like the thing that i needed was to disable the following option: https://www.dropbox.com/s/1x65igs70kx6gch/wcuf_variation_conf.jpg?dl=0 right now the upload field does not refresh when changing product attribute. My bad, i suppose i used wrong phrasing – wanted to ask if there is a way to product attribute selection to each of the uploaded files? https://ibb.co/ry1CbnQ lets say these configurable product attributes under this upload https://ibb.co/WDMVnTJ

I’m sorry, the plugin is not designed for that.

For that purpose, you should use the option you disabled: https://www.dropbox.com/s/1x65igs70kx6gch/wcuf_variation_conf.jpg?dl=0

That option is used exactly to bind to each variation its own upload field.
More in specific: When you select a variation, the plugin loads its specific upload field by which you can upload one or more files that will be bounded to the selected variation.

If you disable that option, the uploaded files will be the same for every variation (because they are bound to the master product, not to specific variations).

Dear support,

colud you show me a demo page where I can see how does the uload image filed work? I would like to use to upload image for prints.

Thanks

Hi,
you can perform a test in any product page, use this for example: https://www.codecanyon.eu/wcuf/product/product-1/

If you need to create a new upload field, you can log in the backend: https://www.codecanyon.eu/wcuf/wp-admin/ (user: demo, pass: demo)

If you need further info, feel free to ask!
