Is this plugin can handle posts that are divided into pages by the nextpage-wordpress-tag? Need <!-nextpage-> support

this plugin is very good, but it is not compatible with “Hide My WP” plugin: i can not set “Permalinks & URLs” Tab -> “New wp-content path” option, or website frontend will not display as normal. i tested this under wordpress default 2019 theme and only active the fixed toc plugin.

It’s strange. The plugin doesn’t involve in that function. Could you please send me a screen record that shows what the issue is? via the Support page: https://codecanyon.net/item/fixed-toc-wordpress-plugin/7264676/support

tks, i have sent detailed message right now on your support page. thank you and waiting for your reply.

Hello Greetings, i have passion to purchase your plugin, i want to ask, does it have shortcode placing feature? because i will to display the content version to my desired paragraph location in my website. Just like Easy Table of Contents WordPress Plugin, i use shortcode to embed it on my specific paragraph. thanks.

Yes. See the “Insert shortcode” section of the document: http://demo.webvars.com/extra/fixed-toc/documentation/#!/tips

Hey wphigh,

got problems with the shortcode. It’s shows on the rhe trigger button on https://die-gastro.de/milchaufschaeumer-test-2019/ but when I set the [toc] shortcode it’s not showed the table. What I have to do?

Try to check the “Display In Post” option.

If it can’t still work, please submit the issue again via the Support link: https://codecanyon.net/item/fixed-toc-wordpress-plugin/7264676/support And check the “Debug” option in the Fixed TOC Settings page for checking.

Hello,

The plugin seems to have a bug when a question mark is inserted on the title. It does the same thing when a special character is used.

How to correct this ?

Thanks

Try to type the question mark via English input source.

Or manually custom the ID, see the “Custom heading tag id attribute” section in the document: http://demo.webvars.com/extra/fixed-toc/documentation/#!/tips

The thing is that i have thousands of IDs that i cannot mannualy update. The plugin should escape special characters if needed. Can you please have a look into it ? thanks

Please send me 1-2 demo pages for checking, via the Support page: https://codecanyon.net/item/fixed-toc-wordpress-plugin/7264676/support thanks.

I might not really understand how this work? But I activated and all the tocs got created/added to existing page, the tocs are not clickable and don’t lead user to where it should (so just going no where)

or do I need to manually add html to editor to make it work?

My posts are in local lang. maybe that has sth to do with this?

Anyone?

Maybe something else conflict with the plugin. Please give me a demo page that the TOC is enable and check the “Debug” option in the Fixed TOC Settings page. So I can check for you.

Hello, I translated strings with loco translate, but seems like changes are not saving

Did you use the Loco Translate plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/loco-translate/ ?

Make sure you have configured them correctly. Give me a login account for checking via the Support page https://codecanyon.net/item/fixed-toc-wordpress-plugin/7264676/support , if you can’t still fix it.

Yes, I did, I already sent you pm, thanks for your help

Help!!! – The best with this plugin for me is the Accordion List. BUT, I only want the TOC to be shown in “Display In Post”, NOT floating/fixed on the side of my page when I scrolling down. Is there a way to to this? I can’t just add ”#ftwp-container { display: none;}”, beacuse then the “Display In Post” also will be hidden. And I can’t find any other plugin with the cool Accordion list feature. Plz help.

Please submit the issue via the Support page: https://codecanyon.net/item/fixed-toc-wordpress-plugin/7264676/support Make sure your account has purchased the plugin and your support time doesn’t expire.

Hello, does it work with Uncode theme ? Is it possible to add a CTA button inside at the end of the content table ? Thanks

Sorry, I haven’t exactly test them.

Hi WPhigh, I see you updated the code so the TOC is forced to collapse for initiation by default, because mobiles are small size. Collapsed text isn’t good for Google rankings so is any way (without rewriting your code) I can override this, and load expanded on mobile?

I can provide an option for setting that in the future if quite a few customers request it.

Please help, i tried to Exclude Headings for products out of my post but it does not work for all, stil have somes https://cbdviet.com/dau-vape-cbd-la-gi-1/

Try:

OG Kush CBD E-liquid – Tinh dầu Vape CBD từ Harmony Harmony CBD Pen Kit – Bút hóa hơi CBD từ Harmony

Some special characters should be converted. You can see it by switching to the Code Editor.

The current page can’t show the characters, See a screenshot: https://1drv.ms/u/s!AmcmVsfdRFRkgZlPRORX5q-Auugjpg

hello, i am using beaver builder. The TOC doesn’t show when the post make by using standard WP editor. When the post launch by BB page builder, it shows.

And the post themer layout can’t insert a TOC. It show “make sure you have added only one the fixed TOC widget at the same page”.

Please provide screenshots or screen records, and demo pages via the Support page https://codecanyon.net/item/fixed-toc-wordpress-plugin/7264676/support , So I can clearly know more details. Thanks.

I disable the themer layout, and TOC show normal now.

But i am facing another problem. That the TOC can not expanding in Mobile, but it is normal in PC or Tablet. I surely uncheck the “Collapsing for initiation”

The TOC is forced to collapse for initiation by default, because mobiles are small size.

Can I change the side where the table of content will appear once you scroll down? Can we change the size of the table of content? to make small or bigger? wider or narrower?

Yes, there are built-in options for setting those.

Really loving this plugin. Works flawlessly and the options allowed me to do exactly what I wanted.

One question though. I have a fixed header on most of the pages where the plugin is used.

So when I click on one of the TOC links and it takes the user to the corresponding heading, the fixed header covers the heading text.

Is there a way to scroll a bit higher than exact heading position to cover for this ?

Hope I’m making sense.

You can set the “Fixed Headers” in the Fixed TOC Settings page. If you can’t do that, send me a demo link via the Support page( https://codecanyon.net/item/fixed-toc-wordpress-plugin/7264676/support ). So I can set for you.

Hi there, I have two questions I would like to see answered if possible: 1. I work with custom post types, can I use this plugin on them as well? 2. Is there a code I can use in my theme, so it automatically adds in the TOC there?

Would love to hear from you, thanks!

1. It works with any custom post types. 2. You can add a TOC to somewhere by a shorcode or widget, but not provide a PHP code yet.

Thank you for your reply. I tried adding [toc] in a custom post type content, but it won’t display anything. Any advice?

The supports is only for clients. Please login as your account purchased it, then submit the issue via the Support page: https://codecanyon.net/item/fixed-toc-wordpress-plugin/7264676/support

Does this plugin work with <!-nextpage->? I mean a long post which splitted in many pages by that tag, can we have a TOC for all sub-pages?

Anyway to perform AJAX load for nextpage?

Sorry, not support yet.

Okie! Thanks!

AMP support not…

Sorry, not yet.

I will consider it and try to find a right way to support AMP in the future.

Hi. Your plugin looks great for my needs, but I would like to know if it is possible to disable the menu for mobile on first load so as to only load the pop up button ie I wish for my content to display first on small screens, not the TOC – but then still have the option to pull it up. Hope that question makes sense!

Sorry, I am not sure what you mean. The TOC is always collapsed for initialization on mobile. You can check the demo http://demo.webvars.com/fixedtoc/demo-1/ by a phone.

Hi, yes I can see that now (didn’t come up before for some reason!). On demo 1 when I scroll down though I am not getting the option to bring up the TOC – is this intentional? I am hoping to have the TOC accessible at any stage through the page on mobile as it is on the desktop. In fact I am not seeing access to the TOC through the page on my mobile for any demo apart from 1 with the collapsed section at the top (running an updated iPhone X)

I have purchased and installed the plugin, all seems to be working great. Thanks!

Hello, Your plugin conflicts with the WP-Rocket Cache Plugin. I have disabled this plugin and Fixed TOC plugin has worked normally. What is the problem? Thanks

I have test them and they can work well together. Try to uncheck the “combine JavaScript Files” option, Because this option is not safe if you aren’t familiar with them.

If you can’t still fix it, Give me a page link and check the “Debug” option in the Fixed TOC settings page, via the Support Menu. So I can check for you.

Hi.

Great plugin so far but I’ve noticed that it interferes with JSON-LD javascript code on webpages when for example an h3 is implemented into the JSON-LD code.

For example: If there is

Title:

the plugin will rewrite to h3 to

Title:

. In general no problem but dubble quotes are not allowed in JSON-LD this way. They need to have a backslash in front like \” to be valid.

Is there a way to disable TOC in javascript or how/what to do about that?

Damn. I can’t show the code directly, have a look here: https://i.imgur.com/FxIwTka.png

Contact me again via the Support Menu, and give me a demo page for checking. So we can continue communicating by email.
