1) Does it come with a Gitenberg block?

2) Is it possible to add it to a column of a page builder layout and fix it within that column?

1. Not yet. 2.yes, you can add a fixed TOC widget to that column.

I use cloudflare, and your plugin does not show up in the article.

I found JS errors on the page. Please check the “Debug” option on the Fixed TOC Settings page for checking. Contact me again via the Support Menu if you have done. So we can communicate conveniently by email, such as attaching images, files, etc.

Hello, I have enabled Debug, but it still doesn’t work. Send me your email address. Or support me here please . Thanks

Hello, when I have the TOC displayed in a sidebar widget or not floating inside the post it appears first after you start scrolling down the page. I want it to be open on page load on the sidebar, thank you!

Check the email, please.

Thank you!

Hello!, Great plugin with good functionality, however how can it stays open when we reach the end of the post and there are no more titles? I would like it to remain open when reaching the end of the post, thank you

No that direct option yet. Submit your question again via the Support Menu , I’ll give you the extra code.

Thank you, sorry for the delay, I received your email. I will implement your solution and get back at you!

Your JS edits worked, thank you! Great plugin and support!

Hi, i love fixed TOC, but i still confuse: can we modified fixed TOC in side bar like this page: https://www.toptenreviews.com/home/vacuum-carpet-cleaning/best-cheap-vacuums/ There are 2 things i see the demo not have (in widget sidebar demo): 1. when i scroll down the post, the TOC will be automatically expanded full height, can we stop it? i just only want to remain the height after scrolling. 2. I don’t see the shadow option in demo, is it posible to add shadow like the above website?

1. You can’t stop the fully expanding, but you can collapse it bu clicking the arrow icon on the top right of the TOC. 2. No direct shadow options yet. It needs a bit of customize CSS to achieve it.

Thanks! I found a CSS code to add shadow: box-shadow: 0px 0px 15px #ccc; however does it add shadow after it expands or just before expanding? if not can you advise any css that works after expanding?

hello, is it working with different pages? (in the demo, all the content is on a single page) thanks!

Sorry, it isn’t. it only supports a single page, or multi-pages separated by the <-nextpage-> quick tag.

ok. because I will have a lot of audio files and images on my page. Will it slow down the loading of the page? tx!

In common, audio files and images are bigger. The size of css and js files in the plugin is less than 100kb.

Hello. I would like to know, before buy, if I could use Fixed TOC plugin on Woocommerce Product Categories. Please pay attention, not Products, but Product Categories. Thank you!

Sorry, not support categories.

There is a conflict with the theme of The7, namely Cartiel Testimonials. For some reason, the content is pulled to the beginning of the text of the review. This is on the latest version of The7 7.5.0 …

Could you please give me a demo for checking? Send the page link via the Support Menu, thanks.

Pre sale questions:

Hi, your plugin is awesome. I have some questions before purchasing. I’m using ‘custom fields’ plugin and made it as tabs inside a post like this. http://stemitem.com/stem/?p=476&lang=en ‘STEM review’ is written with Gutenberg editor as a main contents and I moved it into the second tab. (other tabs are written with ‘custom fields’) I’d like to add TOC just in the second tab(STEM review). I wondering if it is possible to adjust your TOC as I explained above.

thank you.

I have taken a glance, my plugin doesn’t support that feature, so sorry.

I just purchased and set it up, and it works!!! thank you so much

Hi there, I am wondering if I could rename the id to anything I want, rather than simple converting it to the default id. For example, if the heading is “I like flowers” and I want to set id to “flowers”, can I do it in the plugin interface? I hate to add the id in the content because it’s not a scalable option. Many thanks!

It is easy to set it by the Gutenberg Heading Block. See the “Custom heading is attribute” section on http://demo.webvars.com/extra/fixed-toc/documentation/#!/tips

Pre sale questions:

- Is the plugin compatible with Gutenberg? - Is it possible to exclude TOC on certain pages, like are there some settings where we can exclude pages using page ids?

It is compatible with Gutenberg, but not provide a Block. No that option yet. You can disable automatically TOC for global option, then enable it for individual option.

Do you have any documentation of the plugin which explains different features with screenshots?

The online document: http://demo.webvars.com/extra/fixed-toc/documentation/ And each option on the plugin also have a brief or description of it.

Hi,

just bought the plugin, but it breaks the top of my page, by adding some grey line. Please have a look at https://schlafsack.shop/huettenschlafsack-test/ Please tell me how to fix it

Thanks in advance.

I have responded you via the email you sent, check it please.

Thank you very much for your excellent support.

Hi @wphigh. I was about to buy a couple of licenses but then –thanks to @eliaslange comment– I found out that ‘Fixed TOC’ is not PHP 7.1 –and up– compatible. I am sorry but I think it is unacceptable to see a WordPress plugin in CodeCanyon that does not have a big note on its item details page to warn people about this crucial matter. At this point (March 2019) nobody should be using PHP below 7.1 because lower versions are not supported anymore by the PHP Team. Moreover those unsupported versions haven’t been getting security fixes for a while. @wphigh, a few years ago you built what seems a great plugin –probably a plugin ahead of its time that could be better understood now and sell much better– but it needs to be properly updated. Can you please give us an ETA on the update that will make ‘Fixed TOC’ 7.1+ compatible?

I have test up to 7.28. Don’t worry, the plugin will continue updating to fit the newest WordPress and PHP versions.

That sounds great! Perhaps you could include the fact that you fixed the plugin so as to make it PHP 7 compatible in the changelog . That way people like me would not be bothering you with this kind of questions :). BTW I’ve got the plugin running on a production site and I must say it is very well-thought-out in terms of usability and UX (for the end user on the frontend) and nicely implemented on the backend too. Congrats! Thank you.

Thank you, I will consider.

Hi. I’ve seen comment https://codecanyon.net/comments/19987556 and face the same issue. Is there any schedule to make the plugin compatible with PHP7.*?

I have fixed it for a long time. Now the plugin is compatible with the newest version PHP 7

10 months ago Salegrowth asked: ”...is it possible to differentiate between desktop and mobile users the following way: a.) By default open the full table of content to desktop users AND b.) by default only offer the trigger button to mobile users? – The feedback I got from users is that the full menu distracts them on mobile when automatically opened, but that it would make sense on the desktop.”

You replied this was a good idea and that you’d implement in next update. I don’t see the option available. Am I missing it? If not, how could this be accomplished via code/CSS?

Sorry, I missed that. I will fix the issue at the next version 3.1.13 that is planning released before the next Wednesday. If it isn’t still available, send me the feedback again via the Support Menu, I will give you the code.

I absolutely love this plugin! SO happy with my purchase. I’m curious.. when TOC is added to the top of a post, and I have an image towards the top of the post, the expanded TOC “pushes” the top image to the bottom of the expanded TOC, often times creating an ugly gap where no text or image is shown.. How could I get the first image to “wrap” the TOC, similar to how the TOC gets the text to wrap around it?

Thanks in advance!!

Try to use a smaller image, align the image to left or right, or insert a [toc] shorcode to a right position.

I appreciate the response. None of those seemed to get the result I desired. However, I accidentally found that removing all the alignment from the image did exactly what I wanted! Hope this helps you and any other visitors seeking the same info. Cheers!

Maybe the situation on your website I can’t clearly understand. Send Me the page link via the Support Menu, so I can check for you.

I am not satisfied with the plugin. It is not visually looking good. “Easy Table of Contents” plugin in Wordpress repository is far better compared to fixed toc and it’s free!

Hi, when i cativate the plugin for pages they become unresponsive (not mobile ready) :( I wanted to use this plugin with enfold, but it seem not to be possible. Is it officially compatible with enfold?

I have respond you via the email you sent. Please check and communicate there.

Hey wphigh. Is there a way to make the Trigger Button appear later in the post (instead of near the top)? Thanks in advance, Jason

I have respond you via the email, please check.

Hello, Before to buy I need to know if I can exclude titles of ads of Adsense for example; in TOC Plus I have in exclusions this: Comparte:|Artículos que te pueden interesar:|adsbygoogle|descarga|*googletag|Aprenderás paso a paso:|Te mostramos como:

Where *adsbygoogle and googletag exclude the titles of ads

Yes, you can exclude unwanted titles in the Fixed TOC plugin. It excludes complete equal titles that you have set.

Awesolme, Thank You
