I notice the new update 6.04, at the same time I see another update today 6.05, I’m having issues with the download it’s telling me that licenses is not registered, which the domain is registered, and everything in the settings is confirming that licenses is active.

Hello, Unfortunately, the WPBakery Page Builder does not have such a feature. However, we do have many third party add-on on codecanyon which might have such a functionality. Please make sure to re-confirm it with the respective add-on developer before making a purchase.

I updated the plugin to version 6.0.3 the last days and figured out yesterday that the plugin isn’t displaying shortcodes on custom post type singles.
Same behavior when I use the frontend editor. I am able to add content but I cannot see it. When I switch back to the backend editor, the content parts I added right before using the frontend editor are visible.
So far, I’ve tried the following:
- Updated to 6.0.4. Cannot download 6.0.5 at CodeCanyon yet …
- Disabled all plugins
- Disabled and re-enabled all post types in the role manager
- Disabled and re-enabled the whole plugin
- Disabled all scripts
Could you please have a look at this?

Good morning,
I figured out why shortcodes were not displayed on my custom post type single pages.
I used echo get_the_content() instead of the_content().
Maybe, you can add this somewhere to your knowledgebase or FAQs.
I always have to make at least 4 attempts to save “design options” after an update. this time the system will not let me save at all. I keep getting an error message: “Design Options could not be saved. Error: ’//www.myfloridalaw.com/wp-content/plugins/js_composer/assets/fonts/vc_icons_v2/style.less?v=6.0.4’ wasn’t found (429)”

Still no luck with 6.0.5. Now the error message says: “Design Options could not be saved. Error: ’//www.myfloridalaw.com/wp-content/plugins/js_composer/assets/less/shortcodes/vc_message_box/vc_message_box_2.less?v=6.0.5’ wasn’t found (429)”
Never mind. It finally saved after a bunch of tries.
Man…this plugin has been an absolute MESS since version 5.7. I am still on version 5.7 and I just read the comments here when new versions come out to see if all the bugs have been fixed and apparently 6.0.4 just introduced new bugs. Guess I’ll just keep waiting to upgrade…

We use WPBakery for multiple websites. Now we starting to merge/combine these websites. But since the images use ID’s, we get wrong images on pages. Is there a way to proper merge websites with WPBakery that makes sure images work properly?
Hello, The images ids will be different for different websites. If the website cloned, then the image ids will be the same.

Any way how we can modify the ids? Or make ids more unique? If the ids would have more numbers then 4, i would help.
Hello, The image ids are assigned by WordPress when the image is uploaded and the page builder cannot modify them.

Hi again, seems indeed Wordpress is responsible for the ID’s. The pages and images work fine now after importing them. But we encountered 1 more issue; On the live site, we have a text block which has 3x a P tag. After importing, this becomes 1 big P, so the enters and whitespaces are removed.
Is this a known issue?

Hi, Recent Update (V6.0.4) is causing issues with padding CSS properties of theme and other plugins. We need to use ”!important” to make everything work again. This will require changes in many CSS. Kindly look into the same.We have rollbacked to V6.0.3 again due to this.

Thank you for the response. But as we have live payment gateway integrated with the website, we might not be able to share credentials. But let me tell you what is an issue so that it can be addressed in the upcoming updates.
we had following CSS in many pages…..
.page-id-376 .vce-post { margin-top: 0; padding-top: 0; }
suddenly after updating to version 6.0.4, padding-top: 0; started to having no effect…if we chage it to “padding-top: 0 !important;” it is working fine. But we have to make this changes in at many places then. and wordpress also warned with the use of ”!important” as you know.
You can check what is causing this issue in update of 6.0.4. Not only padding-top, but all padding properties are affected due to this. We have temporarily moved to version 6.0.3 and will wait for the solution in the next update. Hope it will be resolved soon in the next update.

Hello I am getting the error below when trying to insert any image with wpbakery page builder. We use PHP 7.3. Tried downgrading to version 6.0.3 but it still will not insert an image. Images could be inserted from the wordpress media gallery before the update to version 6.0.4. We now cannot update our website with images. Please help.

Hello.
Yesterday I installed WordPress in localhost in conjunction with the Constructo theme that brings in its package, the WPBakery plugin.
Everything worked 100% since setting and editing the theme as requested by my client.
I sent the files to the server where my domain is hosted for the client to view and it also worked 100%.
He approved the project and this morning I did the procedure by sending the files to the server where the client domain is hosted.
When installing and activating the WPBakery plugin, WordPress goes blank and will not open anything else. When I remove the plugin via cPanel, WordPress works again, but the theme becomes unconfigured because it needs it to work.
Can you tell me the reason?

Hello Rohan. Thank you for responding, the issue has been resolved. The hosting contracted by my client was with the version of PHP 7.3. We returned to 7.2 and it worked perfectly.
I noticed an error on your KB article for custom fonts (https://www.themepunch.com/faq/use-your-own-fonts/). The very last screenshot showing the CSS, should show ”.my-custom-font” instead of ”.my-custom-class”.

The latest version of the plugin 6.0.4 is not allowing photos to be inserted into posts. It was ok until I upgraded to PHP 7.3. I saw someone else having the same issue and it was recommended to download the newest version as of 7/16 which I did but the problem persists. Any other recommendation?
