There is an issue in latest version of plugin(v-6.0.3) while creating ‘Add new custom template’.
Custom template is created but with extra ” in each section. For example I have taken the code from here – https://kb.wpbakery.com/docs/inner-api/vc_add_default_templates/ and integrated in default twenty nineteen theme.
Output code is coming like following -

Kindly check your provided screenshot. In your provided screenshot already double quotes are coming. you can check it. The code should be clean only with one double quote not three double quotes. Check screenshot for more details. This is an issue coming in latest version of plugin.

Hi, I am having issues with elements inside WPBakery container which are unable to execute their JS. I am placing a contact form shortcode (from this plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/very-simple-contact-form/) inside WPBakery row. I am getting messages sent via contact form, but it’s success message is not shown. Everything works as expected when contact form shortcode is placed outside WPBakery container. I contacted contact form plugin author and he says “VC page somehow blocks the Javascript that is being used to redirect to the success page.. it should add ?vscfsp=success to the page-URL and this is not happening at the VC page.”. Please check this issue.

Well, I want to put an image on top of another image. My background is an image sequence, I want a picture and text to be on top of it. But everything is showing in the back.
My image sequence is 3rd party. I can not set is as a background image sequence. I need to know if I can bring another single image and text block on top of my image sequence. Or on top of anything.
Right now I have 2 single images that will be gates unveiling another image. How would I be able to set my gate on top of the surprise image.

If I use a fixed image using other bg setting it works. Any ideas why? Neither the first tab that has the parallax option or the background version work. Seems there is something preventing parallax effect from working but not sure what.

I wanted to share this issue and solution I found to others here, as it was frustrating. I ran into an issue with a website not allowing me to edit any WPBakery content in backend or front end. If I moused over any WPB content box it would show me the name of it, but no option to edit, copy, etc. Everything was up to date, I tried disabling plugins, ensured it was up to date, nothing worked. So on a hunch I went into WPB settings > ROLE MANAGER > changed any item, then saved. It worked fine again! I hope this helps save someone some trouble.

WPBakery Page Builder Settings > ROLE MANAGER > then under ADMINISTRATOR / EDITOR, etc. if I have “post types” set as “Custom” it will show a list of content types that I can check mark to use WPBakery. I just checked on that was not checked, saved, then it worked again. I unchecked the same one, saved and it still worked. So I am guessing that one of the custom content types was no longer available for this website but was checked, and by saving it reset those.
i have the same problem like PegWeb. since i have update your plugin, all animation are not visible. if i “delete” the css-attribute “visible” of the class “animated”, then the content will be show. but no animation.
the theme or ohter plugins could not be the problem, because i have nothing other change then the update to your plugin and the update of wordpress.
so how can i get the animation visible and back?
what i have see is, that the class “visible” is not set on the animated section if i scroll there.
in the old version the class “visible” was set if i scroll to the position of animated content.

Hello, The plugin received with the theme does not have a license of it’s own. In this case, you can either contact the theme author to update the plugin or can purchase a direct plugin license through us to auto-update it yourself.

Ok, thank you very much for your answer. To clarify my question, here is a small setup of my site. I make music-songs and sell this through the site by using Woocommerce. The pages with music are divided into 5 columns. There is a track in each individual column. Such a track is build up as: - text box with title - image - text box with audio player - 2 buttons (each opens a popup with the option to buy)
I would like to be able with regard to copy/paste (and possibly using a template) to: 1. Use an old music-track as a setup for a new track (I tried this and this is possible with the help of a template) 2. Copy the same track and paste it again on different pages on the site. The latter is not possible because on a page full of different columns I cannot choose 1 column that I want to save as a template. Instead, the entire content of the page is saved as a template. It is also not possible to drag&drop columns within a page. While that is shown as an option in the Front-End Editor. But no matter how I drag; unfortunately all columns remain in their own place.
I hope you can help me out, because I’m in the final phase of building this site and it would be very sad if adding a new track turned out to be a huge job.

Hello, Since the track consists of various elements, you will have to first add it in a row while saving the template. Once done, you can add this template onto the page and then drag this row into the required column when the template is added onto the page. To create such template you can check an add-on plugin called templatera.

In version 6.0.3 shortcodes don’t work (item created thorugh shortcode in functions.php and used in text block with a shortcode); custom created element disappeared. Please fix asap. Ty!
