Hi, I have WPBakery along with my theme. I found this alert from WordFence: Filename: wp-content/plugins/js_composer/assets/lib/php.default/php.default.min.js File Type: Not a core, theme, or plugin file from wordpress.org. Details: This file is a PHP executable file and contains the word “eval” (without quotes) and the word “base64_decode(” (without quotes). The eval() function along with an encoding function like the one mentioned are commonly used by hackers to hide their code.
You should fix this ASAP, as it might cause websites to be hacked. My WPBakery version is 6.0.2
Hello, The eval() function is used by many reliable apps like gmail, etc. and is secure. However, we will also add it onto our list to check it further.

6.0.3 created blank content with my The7 theme. When I roll back to 6.0.2 it fixed the problem. There is smth wrong with 6.0.3

Hi, I have updated to the latest 6.0.2 but none of my custom shortcodes are working. They are displayed as raw shortcodes in the editor screen. Did something change in the way you should register your own elements, or is that a bug on your end?
Hello, There can be an issue if the custom shortcodes/elements were added via plugin core files as after the update, the plugin will be set back to the standard version. A recommendation will be to add the custom shortcodes/elements via child theme, so that the updates will not affect them.

Hello, I have installed the latest version of WPBakery and it completely messed up my woocommerce user area. When you go to the account area it shows the shortcode [woocommerce_my_account] instead of the shotcode actually displaying the content it is supposed to.
I luckily had an old version of the plugin which I updated to and now everything is fine. Hopefully this problem can be fixed for everyone.

I run WordFence, and every time it tells me to update my WPBakery version, the plugin information says compatibility is “unknown” for WordPress 4.9.10. I am currently using version 5.7 of the WPBakery plugin, and am afraid to update based on this “unknown” status. I have seen some people reporting that 6.0.x is not working with their sites. Am I safe to update, or should I wait until there is some definitive indication that WPBakery works with WordPress 4.9.10 and beyond?

Hey guys, just went to update from 6.02 to 6.03 and none of the elements are loading in the page builder. Not sure what happened on the last update but nothing is working. Tried opening the simple elements like Text Block, Empty Space, Raw HTML, etc. The element box shows up with Close or Save Changes but nothing is inside, just empty.

Hello, As the plugin is purchased via codecanyon in this case you should import the license into your WPBakery account. To do so, you can login into: support.wpbakery.com/login If you are not sure about the login details, then use the reset password option and use the email id associated with your codecanyon account. Once logged in, navigate to licenses page and click on “import it” option at the bottom of the page. It will then prompt you to login into codecanyon to complete the import. You can then activate the plugin license as per: https://wpbakery.com/video-academy/activate-wpbakery-page-builder-wordpress-license/

Is it still true that Raw HTML widgets can’t be updated via search & replace, whether through a plugin or phpMyAdmin? I have a client that had a site done by another developer, and they essentially used some kind of layout or template or something to basically create a sidebar (every page that has this “sidebar”—and there are dozens, if not hundreds—uses a WPBakery 1/4 + 3/4 two column row), but now the client needs to change some info in that sidebar and the only way I can figure out how to do it is going to involve manually visiting every single page and swapping out 12–15 URLs.
There has got to be a better way…
Hello, The raw html stores the code in encrypted format and hence it cannot be searched and replaced. It can only be changed by editing element on the page.

Yikes…that’s going to take hours, even days or weeks. That’s unfortunate.
Does WPBakery Builder have any kind of reusable block kinda thing? Like maybe the previous devs created some kind of template that I could update instead of getting hands on every single page that uses this layout? Seriously, it could be hundreds here…I’d almost rather build a whole new site.
It was built on the Salient theme if that makes any difference.
Hi! I got your plugin with Berserk theme and everything is working fine so far. Only “issue”: For some reason, when i use filters with masonry grid layout, the results completely reload (with height 0), causing a very short “flash” caused by the following content coming up and down again. When filtering i expect the active tiles to not be reloaded and the inactive ones faded out or hidden. Am i missing something? Thank you!

There’s an error with your licensing system. Apparently I have 2 sites registered with the same license.
I have 3 unused licenses and tried to fix the odd error by switching one of them. However, it won’t let me deactivate the problem license. I get “Failed to deactivate WPBakery Page Builder. License is activated on another domain:”
I shouldn’t need extended support for this issue, since your system somehow has the same license activated for 2 site.
I have 8 licenses, 3 of which I’m not using. All I’m trying to do is deactivate the license on this site so I can use a different license. I don’t have access to the other site.

I got the manager of the other site to give me access to the WP admin so I could figure it out. Deleted that license and was able to reactivate it and pick a different one for the other site.
Very peculiar. I’ve never seen it before, so it must have been some sort of glitch. But it’s all fixed now. Thanks!
BTW, the clients I’ve installed this plugin for have really liked it. Some don’t need it, but those that use it are pretty happy with it.
This is weird. Today I wanted to update WpBakery from 6.0.2 to 6.0.3 in my Wordpress, but the update has failed that my license is not activated which is not true, my WpBakery license in wordpress is activated for many years.
