hi, Does it have dependency on jquery? Thanks Himesh
Hello,
Yes, the Groovy menu requires jQuery to work.
Hi,
for any reason, i get only the first menu item shown in the menu. No matter what I add, I only see “Home”
got it. default preset was the wrong menu
Nice. If you have any questions pleas create a ticket here.http://grooni.com/docs/groovy-menu/
hi, ive just purchased this followed all the instructions on installing it but when i click on global settings nothing happens ?
Hello, Please create a private ticket here https://grooni.ticksy.com and provide us admin access to your site, how to create admin user please read here http://grooni.com/docs/crane/faq/how-to-create-admin-user-in-wordpress-for-grooni-support/
Also, I’m trying to put the logo above a simple text menu that changes depending on which page you are on. It looks like this plugin isnt working at all for what I need.
Also, when I click to another page that has a different menu it doesnt seem to update it unless I click refresh. Also if I hit back it doesnt update the menu and keeps the one on the previous page.
How to define a menu preset:
At the whole website – https://nimb.ws/a1fF5b
Taxonomies – https://nimb.ws/HOcRD0
Specific Page(s)/Post(s) – https://nimb.ws/tc7u2x
If you have any other questions please create a ticket on our support portal https://grooni.ticksy.com/
Hi, I’m trying to get this plugin to work but there are no options to add logos. The documentation doesn’t seem to be the same for what I see in WP.
Hello, for uploading Logo(s) you need to open “Global settings” at the Groovy Menu Dashboard https://nimb.ws/fgclsW
http://grooni.com/docs/groovy-menu/global-settings-2/ We will improve the documentation from next week, and add video tutorials.Hi. This looks great. Question: Do you allow for a widget area for things like a Cart icon, User icon, or hamburger/icon for slide out etc?
Hello,
The cart icon and hamburger are parts of Groovy menu itself, and can’t be placed bt widgets separately. Please correct me if I misunderstood you.
Currently, the cart icon can be placed to the left/right area (depending on language) for horizontal layouts https://nimb.ws/kvpo8B and to the bottom area for vertical layouts https://nimb.ws/aObgrP
There is no separate user icon option but you can add a login link to the menu and add an icon to it using custom CSS (with our help)
Hamburger icon can be displayed on both desktop and mobile layouts and the side placement depend on the options. The example page for both desktop and mobile layout is http://groovymenu.grooni.com/minimalistic-menu/
Awesome. Thanks!
If you make this compatible with divi, you got a new customer.
Hello, derspanier
We are working on itHello Sir, any news on Divi Support ? Thank you !
Hello derspanier, it’s compatible with divi now
UPD: Groovy menu not compatible with Divi builder yet.(but it is on your roadmap). We ready to make a refund. Our team apologizes for any inconvenience caused!
.We will inform you when we complete works with compatibility DIVI Builder!
Hello derspanier, а some time ago you were asked about the compatibility of Groovy Mega menu plugin (https://codecanyon.net/item/groovy-menu-wordpress-mega-menu-plugin/23049456) and DIVI Theme Builder. We have good news because the Groovy menu has become compatible with DIVI. You’ll know more from this video tutorial https://youtu.be/ZiGtqayLllk
Hi there,
I’m interested by your plugin, but I want to know something : is it possible to add queries into part of the menu?
I expect to have in each submenu a part of it showing all the terms available for every single custom post type I have. I’ll probably use wp_list_category().
Something like this :
My CPT #1 => Display of all the terms of a taxonomy
My CPT #2 => Display of all the terms of a taxonomy
My CPT #3 => Display of all the terms of a taxonomy
...
Regards.
Another question please : can we put several permanent menu? When I saw your plugin in action, I wish to be able to put an icon left sidebar menu + an icon right sidebar menu.
Hello,
According to the first question. We don’t have such a feature but I will speak with the team about it. Currently, if any registered custom post type is present in Appearance > Menus, there also will be available terms, for example, categories or tags. Then you can create a top-level custom link and name it “My CPT” and place under it all the terms manually like in the screenshot https://nimb.ws/i93p7h P.S. Hope, I understood you right, please correct me if not.
According to the second question. It is on our roadmap, but there is no ETA for it.
I have bought your plugin this afternoon, I had good feelings about it and it’s confirmed.
But please just add a little thing: give us the possibility to “unwrap” your menu of this html5 <header>.
I need it for sementical purposes on my homepage which is different from the rest of my website. Even if I have to add custom classes in order to don’t break your plugin’s CSS, whatever.
Thank you.
And please check your menu plugin with Query Monitor : https://fr.wordpress.org/plugins/query-monitor/
It seems your plugin generates duplicate queries… I don’t know if it’s caused by the wp_nav_menu() itself or your plugin, but probably both because your plugin uses the native wordpress function.
Maybe include a cache menu in a future update can be a solution.
We already fixed duplicated queries in the previous release, but it seems there are left a couple. Thank you, we will fix it.
Hi, I’ve just installed the Groovy Menu, and noticed that I can’t access the pre-installed icon pack from the plugin. What am I missing?
Hello, samplesolutions
Please create a ticket in our support service https://grooni.ticksy.com and please specify which pre-installed icons pack are you talking about? It would be better if you provide a screenshot
hello, it work with divi?
Hello, nikocapo
In theory, this should work, but we have not tested it with Divi.
Currently the Groovy menu is compatible with WPBakey Page Builder and Gutenberg. We plan to add compatibility with more builders including Divi Builder in near future

Can you please make a video for How to use this? And why don’t you make it for elementor builder. Many people use.
Thank you for your interest! Yes, we will prepare a video and do the test with Elementor Builder in the coming days. I’ll let you know about that.
The Groovy menu is compatible with Elementor now. It also works well with WPBakey Page Builder, Site Origin Page Builder, and Gutenberg.
