I clicked to hide plugins and hide theme and it does not do that for one of my plugin and my theme? Heck it even shows all the names on the left?

Hi there, for some reason, Hide My WP is not working on my site. Each time I go to make changes or even enter my purchase code, I get a grey screen that reads “Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page”. Just a side note, this is a multisite. I went to support.wpwave but it won’t let me register to go to the forums. Instead, I get taken to a page that says information would be sent to my email…. but I’ve received nothing. Please help

It’s compatible with almost all the plugins. Even if there is clash with a particular Plugin, you can opt to not rename that particular Plugin. You can rename plugin path and/or plugins name.

Hi, I purchased your plugin and used it for my website. Unfortunately, each time I try to update a page I get redirected to the 404 page. Ah! I got it. Either we have to install the Envato Toolkit plugin to access all the avail plugins, else WP gives an option to Upload a Plugin. Hence It works both ways.
Yes, you are right. Simply buy HMWP Plugin from codecanyon.net and upload it via your site’s Dashboard >> Plugins
Then activate the plugin and apply one of the pre-made settings from HMWP settings page.

What are some settings I should look at or DE-activate ?
I found that ” Hide My WP ” was significantly slowing down my website.
So I went to ….
Replace Tools – - > Replace in HTML
And deleted the following from my configurations :
wordpress ( replace with ) Bubba
After doing this the site sped up significantly.

2) - Is there a way to improve the ability to replace ” wordpress” from within the HTML without it affecting the load speed ?

You actually should not replace “wordpress” singly because if you are logged in then frontend has several class names and script variables named wordpress, and replacing these might slow down the site because of errors. So, rename text like “wordpress-xyz”, “wordpress-abc-def”, etc separately.
(you should check your site’s page source in logged out state )

Yes, it’s not recommended to replace general text like wordpress, wp, admin, etc. as they are common names and might be associated with class names, script variables, etc.
