Hi, we have used your Hide My WP plugin for many years, at some point last year we tried to update the plugin and after some time, the plugin locked us out of all Wordpress admin pages except the plugin page with this message: “You are using Hide My WP plugin with either empty or invalid Purchase code. Please enter your purchase code or deactivate the plugin. Get it NOW! | Quick guide”
We tried to enter our purchase code into the plugin, but it did crash the site. We had to restore the site.
Is there a way to enter the purchase code directly into the database via MyPHPAdmin or some other way?
We have have also opened a support ticket with you via Codecanyon on Friday last week.

Your plugin has locked us out of our website with this message:

When we enter our purchase code it crashes the site. When we disable the plugin it crashes the site.
We need to know before the weekend how to enter the purchase code or unlock the website.
We may lose a client over this issue!!!!!!!!!!

Hello. Your plugin works very well !
But, some specifics online wordpress detectors (cmsdetect, gochyu) can still detect that i’m using WP and are saying that my website is using « WooCommerce ».
How to deal with it so that they will not see WooCommerce ?
(I have the medium recommended settings with all necessary settings checked on the hiding tab).

Hi, apologies for the inconvenience caused. Most probably, it’s an issue related to the site’s .htaccess file. If you are using Litespeed server, make sure that you change “AllowOverride None” to “AllowOverride All” in apache’s httpd.conf as htaccess is not enabled by default in Litespeed server (and restart the server) – https://www.litespeedtech.com/support/forum/threads/htaccess-is-ignored.15500/

Hi, HMWP plugin does not physically rename any files or folders. It just adds some rewrite rules to the site’s .htaccess file, and hence even thought the site breaks while configuring the plugin, no data of file will be lost (HMWP doesn’t delete any files/folder). SO, if you can reach out to us with the details we can definitely help you.

Not much detail. Hide My WP blocks the pluggable wordpress function wp_hash_password() from other plugins which use it. Take plugins: “PHP native password hash” or “WP Hash Password” they do not work (since January) with Hide My WP
