Hi,
I’m trying to update the plugin, but it says it’s being used in a another website (where I only installed it for testing purposes).
How can we proceed?
Thanks.

thanks
the button to use JIG shortcode from this plugin is under the option button in Gutenberg what means that I can Not click on it. Classic mode Gutenberg
the instagram on your website is also gone. Instagram shows only 20 pictures, is that the max ?
Can you resize the window, perhaps Gutenberg would adjust the size of your editor. It’s weird that the classic block is buggy that way. We could move the JIG button on the 2nd row of the toolbar, but most people don’t use that so they wouldn’t find the button. It’s not always covered, it depends on the installation (other plugins too).
Instagram is no longer officially supported, that’s why it’s gone from the site. It’s no longer possible to use the API that way. https://justifiedgrid.com/support/faq/whats-happening-to-instagram-their-api-is-changing/ Other IG plugins are scraping Instagram frontend itself which is not allowed by IG policy.
Quick question…I have 4 images in 1 row showing in desktop…howto force showing 1 image in 1 row on mobile devices?
I mean total 4 rows ….in 1 image each row.
Hopefully this helps: https://justifiedgrid.com/support/faq/one-image-per-row-one-column-possible/
I am trying to do one image, that lightboxes to a different larger image, through WP Bakery, but here is my problem. See screencast below. Thanks
https://screencast-o-matic.com/watch/cFlXIJrBaxHi, you put the URL on the image itself in the WP Media Library (not in JIG). Look for the “JIG Link” field where you edit an image’s title etc. https://justifiedgrid.com/features/custom-links/
Note the ID of the image (from the URL bar) and put that number in the “ids” setting of JIG, that’s it.

Hello, I have been using since 2012 and love it but now, I am having issues with the format “fattening” my blot post pics – this is happening on most of my pages – like this one: https://reneebowen.com/holly-2014-senior-model-rep-santa-clarita-senior-portrait-photographer/ how I can fix that globally?
There is a different size stored in the media library for the images. Have these images been reuploaded with the same name? Jetpack’s image service (Photon/CDN) caches the images indefinitely with no option for purging. If the dimensions were changed, that can cause this distortion. It’s very rare. Does the problem persist if you disable that image performance enhancement?
I’m not sure …. it seems like anything past about 6 months ago are all changed and look really awful – I have NO idea if the dimensions were changed; I haven’t done anything with the settings …. do you have any suggestions on how I can tell if the dimensions were changed or what they should be set on??
Please send a mail from our profile, we’ll need to log in with temporary wp-admin access and check it out.
Hi, I tried sending a message on your contact page – lmk if you did not receive it; I can give you admin access if you provide me with an email address
Got it, we can continue there.
if I update to version 3.9.2 it still says version 3.91. I think there is something wrong with the build zip file
The auto update server sends 3.9.2 we confirm. But here on Envato the update is still in the queue.
Hello, My website got hacked so I had to rebuild it using a different domain name. Can you please contact me and I will give you the domain information. Thank you

Hi, The most recent update breaks my flickr_collection
Fatal error: Call to undefined function d() in /home/vladlatr/public_html/vladibalevski/wp-content/plugins/justified-image-grid/justified-image-grid-core.php on line 12948
Any idea why?
Rolled back to 3.9.1- Fixed the issue!
Sorry that was a debugger function left in. Now it’s fixed if you update again.
I have install JIG plugin before my site is live (development mode) and now I have assign domain name to it. In my word-press admin I am getting this error
“Automatic update error! This purchase code is in use on: wordpress-180957-528864.cloudwaysapps.com! You need one regular license for each production site, except staging sites. Contact JIG support to reset your license (only the username is needed).”
In future also I have one staging/clone site for development and one live site. Please solve my problem.
Ok, from now on, sites on the cloudwaysapps domain will be recognized as staging sites and you may update JIG on that site parallel to your main domain, once it binds to your production site.

Hallo Belcovia,
can you change my JIG key from “trecime.de” to “hintergrat.com”, please. Trecime.de doesn’t exist anymore.
Thanks a lot Best regards Alexander

I have two licenses which were originally purchased for http://<sitenames> . The sites are now fully https:// and JIG will not update inside wordpress. You did resolve this for me before but the issue has come back. Can you advise how to reset the hosts for these two licenses to the same sites just https ?
EDIT – seems to be working now. not sure if you did anything or it resolved itself but all good. please ignore this request if you had not done anything.

We keep encountering an issue where our database gets flooded with sleeping queries. This seems to line up with the debug log showing JIG errors that look like this: “WordPress database error Duplicate entry ‘WS4jA5TlHyq4’ for key ‘hash_based_id’ for query UPDATE `wp_jig_ext_images` SET `hash_based_id` = ‘WS4jA5TlHyq4’ WHERE `url_hash` = ‘b35a9a7b764b09b74cd7b525f16e9b3c’ AND `url` = ‘https://ourdomain.com/current-guides/open/MillennialGuideOpen.png?t=1543849784' made by require(‘wp-blog-header.php’)”...
It looks like the only images causing this error are loaded via RSS galleries and have the timestamp query string on the end of the URLs. We do this to ensure that the images shown are the newest ones at that URL (they update seasonally, but in a lot of different places so we try to avoid going and making manual changes in all those places)
I’m going to try removing the timestamp, and then possibly switching from an RSS gallery to a regular one to see if either of those remedy the issue for us. Any idea why the current setup would be causing a problem thougH?
Also, is it safe to run a query to delete these rows from the jig_ext_images table? Looks like we have ~500k of them in the table from the timestamps changing, I’m assuming removing them will clear up a lot of the issue.
Just want to make sure it’s not a problem to clear those out
Go to JIG settings, TimThumb & CDN tab, External image caching time. In the help bubble click to purge the cache. Set the value of the setting to 7 or something similarly low (days). The changing timestamps doesn’t help performance because JIG needs to check the image size of remote content, which takes a while. It’s usually not a problem as it only happens with the first visitor that is usually you. From then on it only happens to new content, the visitor of which does not matter as 1 image is fast, 50 are not. Why not change the timestamp when the content is actually changed?
Hi, i bougt JIG to use it with WP/LR Sync and RML and I am happy about the Tools Combination. now I get the information, that RML is deprecated and WP/LR Sync Folders is the Future Add In. Now the Question, will JIG be possible to use the new tool same Way like RML? Thanks for feedback and best regards Dirk
What’s the source of that information? RML doesn’t seem like it’s deprecated. WPLR Sync is a different plugin by a 3rd party developer. RML works with it though. You can use WPLR sync with JIG only through RML at the moment, but we are looking into a more direct Lightroom compatibility. WPLR doesn’t play nicely with translation plugins. Also, Adobe Portfolio doesn’t carry over the photo’s captions, so currently there is no perfect solution.
Hi. I have been using your gallery for a long time and everything was fine. until there was this error “the requested album cannot be loaded at this time. Error: OAuthException Code: 4, (#4) Application request limit reached” I have about 350 albums in my account facebook that’s the problem. Threshold adding album? Or the problem is something else and how would it solve ?
There are 100 photos in each album. The total number of 35000 photos
That would explain the issue. How are you showing the albums? Are they straight to lightbox? Or do they point to individual URLs? Make sure you use the Facebook caching in JIG, and perhaps increase it from 1 hour to a day or something longer, especially if they don’t change often. That will reduce your API usage. JIG has a limit of 500 FB albums and 500 FB images per album (it can’t page over that amounts).
Thank you for your advice. Here is an example of a link how I output albums. https://beerloga-bratsk.ru/halloween. I understand that it’s less load Facebook api? Albums on this site are added once a week 2 albums. So I increased the cache from 1 hour to 1 day.
So you put 1 album per JIG shortcode and don’t rely on multi-album shortcodes? That’s even better and the caching time increase will help you a lot. You can increase it far longer if your already done albums don’t ever change. Also, do you use caching plugins for WP itself?
Created separately 350 pages and on these pages 350 short codes for albums. No this site does not use caching plugins. You are advised to put the caching plugin. Which plugin is better to install for compatibility with jig ?
OK that is a good setup. Well we only have experience with W3TC plugin which is very good and usually makes sites about twice as fast. We also recommend Cloudflare.
Hi,
I get this error message in WP Dashboard Justified Image Grid: Facebook authorization for Jessica Jasmine has EXPIRED. You have to re-authorize!
I think it is because I use a development subdomain earlier, not in use anymore. My site is live on main domain https://www.bardotbrigitte.com
Can you please fix this?
Kind Regards
Website: https://www.bardotbrigitte.com
Purchase Date: 2013-05-14 09:22:46 UTC
The domains have nothing to do with expiring Facebook API access. Changing domains would only hinder your ability to auto update the plugin. Your license is now released from the previously bound host. https://justifiedgrid.com/support/faq/your-license-has-been-reset-what-does-it-mean/
As for the FB expiration, just re-add your user on the Facebook tab, that’ll refresh the period of 2 months, after which it’ll expire again. This is a Facebook API limitation.
Hi Belcovico, Great support as always! Thank you
I really love to great your plugin. Please I want to asking for one solution if you have. If I’ve many photos added by Nextgen gellery & I want to hide photos in included one button which open the photos by clicked button.
The “limit” setting when combined with the “hidden limit” setting can chop a gallery at a specific number of thumbnails (for example: 1) and make the rest of the images available in the lightbox only. Is that what you need?
Can you send me a link about tutorial?
There is no tutorial for this, it’s as simple as adding values to two settings.
<button id=”btn”>Open PhotoSwipe</button>
I want to know using this button like edit by codepen I want to hide photos just showing button only. And how to hide full photos caption and top bar only show full screen & close during open photoswipe? because I’m book & comics blogger. Please give me some tips. Thanks in advance
Please note that it’s out of scope of support to help with this, also you are not a customer yet. Because you need a gallery that is not justified, but entirely hidden behind the button, what’s the use of JIG? What you need is just a lightbox then. You could use click redirection mentioned in this article https://justifiedgrid.com/support/faq/is-it-possible-to-make-the-caption-clickable-when-its-under-the-thumbnails/ (not the exact code but it would be similar) and hide the JIG with further custom CSS. This is not an out of the box feature.
It’s works well and easy to use script code with photoswipe but I removed all plugins and cancel to purchase any plugins from envato.
Ok
1. I have enable download link for JIG photos. After clicking on download link of photos- I am getting this error message :
No webpage was found for the web address: http://www.rkmvdeoghar.org/wp-content/plugins/justified-image-grid/download.php?file=https%3A%2F%2Ffarm2.staticflickr.com%2F1926%2F31696047748_3292404c4c_b.jpg
2. though I have enable mouse right click the user is not able to save photos as he is not getting save option on mouse right click.
Hi,
1. Do you have a security plugin that would limit the use of php files in the plugin folder? Or does it work with a gallery of images that are hosted on that WP site?
2. Some lightboxes cover the photo by the area that holds the arrows, therefore blocking the context menu from firing on the photo. Choose a different lightbox, such as Magnific Popup.
Hello,
JIG is suddenly starting to make problems on my website. My server error log is full of these messages:

Had do edit the brackets so the content shows up here.
I serve the JIG code in a custom plugin via shortcode – since the error appeared, I tried using php do_shortcode and JIG’s own php tags, but always the same error. The rml ID comes from an ACF custom field.
Thanks.
Hi,
What brackets did you edit? Did you disable the shortcode for now? What version of RML are you using? The error appears in the part where JIG interacts with RML, but it’s not giving the expected result. Is there a valid RML gallery, folder, or collection with that ID?
1) I edited only the first starting brackets in the first row of each big block.
2) Current RML version 4.0.9
3) IDs are correct, I’ve just double checked.
It worked until recently, suddenly not anymore.
Ah no, sorry, my mistake. Seems like some of the IDs were changed when I recently re-synced with a Lightroom plugin. I’ve checked an already updated post, that’s why I didn’t notice it. The problem seems to be at RML’s side, it even kills my whole post when the ID is wrong, really weird.
It could be that if you give JIG a really nonexistent RML ID, it gracefully tells you that it doesn’t exist. But given the nature of auto-generated objects through the Lightroom plugin, it could leave the old ID in a broken state, tricking JIG into believeing that it’s still a working RML gallery while it’s in fact, moved. Pay close attention to what the WPLR sync plugin does as it’s known to cause some strange things. No ide why a simple re-sync would cause new IDs though, that seems odd.
The breaking of the sites doesn’t happen with JIG only, but also with the gallery shortcode provided by RML, that’s why I’m asking.
Then it’s better to ask RML developer about this. JIG uses functions provided by RML itself for fetching content from its galleries. JIG only acts as a different display.
Oh, sorry, I’m already in touch with RML, didn’t pay attention to who I am replying here. Thought it was an answer from RML.
Ah ok.
Hi Belcovio What ’s a great plugin ! congrats ! I have just only one question… I created a snippet in php with a wordpress plugin in the form of a shortcode like this [wbcr_php_snippet id=”69”] . This snippet displays the category name of my portfolio images. i tried to paste it within the images category field of JIG form but i have an error : [justified_image_grid image_taxonomy=attachment_category image_tax_term=”[wbcr_php_snippet]: PHP snippets error (not passed the snippet ID)”] Would have you a solution ? it’s will be great if i could paste my shortcode as arguments within JIG shortcode ! thanks for your help !
Shortcodes can’t be used in another shortcode’s attributes. If it’s applicable, make JIG shortcode a template tag: use it from PHP (in your theme). There you can pass any value as a shortcode attribute as it won’t be up to WordPress parsing. There is a get_jig PHP function that takes an array. Look at the shortcode editor -> Template Tag tab.
ok thanks you !
