Hi I have a couple of questions. I have a website where customers can upload files for printing. I want the files to be uploaded after checkout so they can pay first, then think about uploads, some uploads can take a while. Q1 I would like customers to be able to upload multiple files at the same time (on the thankyou page) is this possible (I don’t want them to have to upload file, then wait a long time for it to clear before they can select another one to upload). Q2 If I am using a plugin like Uni CPO 4, which calculates a cost based on product dimensions, will the upload box in the thankyou page show the dimensions, so the customer can know which upload box to use (not just the main product name without dimensions).   1. Yes it possible. Just enable the option to enable the multiple files upload (General tab) and the option to dispay the upload field in teh Thank you page (Visibility tab).
  2. For now once the files are uploaded, the plugin will show only a list of them reporting the name. Do you have any visual that shows exactly what you have in mind? I can see if I can extend the plugin to include this feature.

Make sure you are running the latest 40.7 version. Hi Vanquish, I am using the demo website to trial. I have tried enabling the multiple files, but when it starts uploading one file, the other ‘add files’ boxes disappear until the first is uploaded. I would want to be able to start uploading each file, one after another without having to wait for the upload to finish before selecting the next file (or the customer will spend all their time waiting, rather than just selecting all files and being able to do something else as they upload. No unfortuantely the dimension computed by that plugin won’t be showed inside the WCUF plugin.

For what concerns the multiple upload option, when the file selection browser popups just select mutliple files holding the SHIFT key and click in the files you whant to upload. Once done, click the ok button. In this way the selected file will be multiple uploaded.

have you completed the activation through the purchase code verification?

Once you activate the plugin for the first time you should see a notice on the top of the admin pages asking you to complete the activation through verifing the purchase code. Complete that step and you will be able to use the plugin! :)

Hi, I have different product groups in my store. For some of them, I need to disable quantity selection. I created 2 different fields for different products, but I see that the setting of the Enable/disable quantity selection is configured globally. Can I turn off the amount counter for one of the fields? Maybe hide by css? I tried, but did not find the correct selector. Thank you.

unfortunately that option is global and cannot be setted for specific product.

However, yes you can hide the seletor use the following css:
.wcuf_quantity_per_file_input, .wcuf_quantity_per_file_label

display: none;

You can define in your theme css or use this plugin of mine: Custom JavaScript & CSS in Pages! . It allows you to define custom CSS rules for specific pages (like specific product pages)! :)

I’m getting the following error:

I have this running on a staging site and it’s working fine but on the production site it’s throwing the error (and not working). All of the plugins and WP versions are the same in both environments. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It seems that in the production site you have a 3rd party plugin that is raising a javscript error/interference preventing the WCUF plugin to properly define its libraries.

Could you try updating the plugin to the latest 40.5 verison? You can manually download the new version via codecanyon or receive as automatic update by installing and configuring the Envato updater plugin: https://goo.gl/pkJS33 (here the guide that explains how to configure: https://envato.com/market-plugin/ ).

Try eventually to disable all the 3rd party plugins to see if you still experience the issue. If not, enable one by one until you find the one interfering.

Hi, I’m building a site where people can upload their images and order prints of various sizes. How do I allow them to upload an image for Variation A and another image for Variation B? Every time I try to upload the second, I hit ‘browse’, select the file to upload, then it takes me back to product page and does nothing.

I have “Display field on product page”, “upload per product”, and “Display the upload field for every product variation” all enabled.

it seems that a 3rd party plugin is interfering by dening the WCUF to start the upload proces after the file has been selected. Could you try to disable your 3rd party plugins to see if you still experience the issue?

purtroppo senza ulteriori elementi è difficile capire la cause dell’eventuale issue. Cosa intendi che non si aggancia al prodotto? Sono riuscito ad eseguire correttamente l’upload, ma poi non ho ben capito come verificare l’issue che riporti.

Potresti eventualmente provare ad abilitare l’opzione “Products addable multiple times to cart” per quel prodotto e verificare se l’issue persiste?

Il problema è che quando clicco su “aggiungi il carrello”, il file non compare nella pagina carrello, né checkout, né nell’ordine

I have a problem with the plugin in the front end. Before upgrade, it looked like this (screenshot: https://yadi.sk/i/UoigAAzLFXD3pg), after upgrade it is no longer displayed in the front end.

Here is what I tried to do: 1. Turned on WordPress debug mode. This is a screenshot of the product page, on which there should be a product download field (screenshot: https://yadi.sk/i/mSFCQbTfFlaK5Q). 2. Removed the plugin, cleared the browser cache and web server cache, downloaded the plugin from the zip archive again without installing updates. And after the re-installation, I see in the admin panel all previous settings and previously created download fields. And the plugin did not request re-authorization after reinstalling. 3. Disconnected all the plugins that could cause a conflict, and then connect them one by one, but this did not affect.

I use WordPress version 4.9.8, WooCommerce version: 3.4.5, Creativa 1.0.11 theme, and WooCommerce plugins (screenshot https://yadi.sk/i/ISZfWrM1H0Sv9Q).

well if you don’t want to display the upload field under the product photo… then select another positioning option :)

If you want to display under that position but it is not rendering, it most likely due to the fact that the them is not properly firing the woocommerce_product_thumbnails action while rendering the page. This however is a theme issue :(

When the client does not click on the disclaimer box and add the file appears the message, saying that it is mandatory the person clicks the box .. then when the person clicks the box of responsibility and try to load the same file again nothing happens. The same happens with the text box. if the client does not put a text linked to the upload, it appears the notification that is obligatory, when writing the text and trying to send the file does not load, you have to load a different file.

Please do not send same message in different channels. I’ve already received this message in the private thread we are having in via email. If I haven’t answered means that I’m still processing other support requests.

We’ve come across a bug that fills up the server error logs until we run out of disk space, which completely leaves our store out of service.

WP: 4.9.8 WC: 3.4.5 WCUF: 39.5 PHP: 7.0.32

In WC order details, there’s an option to “Download all as zip”. It’s trying to read a non-existent zip file to send back to the client, and it fills up the log starting with this:

We’ve verified and it’s failing to build the zip file because the original uploaded files don’t exist, which brings up the second issue. The uploaded files are registered in the database, and I can see the list of files in the order details page, but trying to download them (individually, without compressing them all to a zip file) fails because the files are not there. Also, I noticed the folder wp-content/uploads/wcuf/\<order_id\> (for that specific order id) doesn’t exist either. How could it be?

A possibility, I’m just guessing, we might have ran out of space and this caused the files not to upload correctly, but the plugin didn’t seem to have thrown an error to the user, and the order went through as usual. I haven’t been able to reproduce this second issue, so I can’t give much more details about it.

yes the issue is related to the fact that your server is not properly storing the uploaded files into that folder without raising any error to the plugin.
The plugin then stores the file metadata but is not able to serve the files or to create the zip with those files. It could be due to zero space left or because for some reasons is not able to create the <order_id> folder. It sounds strange that it suddenly happened without any alteration. Try eventually disabling all the other 3rd party plugins and check the folder permissions.

You should investigate your server error log to have more clues about the issue an make the server maintainer to fix it. Eventually considering using the DropBox service to store files.

I already did it, I already deleted it, I deleted it. then I installed the updated update. Then the plugin disappeared from the side menu of wordpress.

To manually update the plugin just deactivate and delete the old plugin version. Once done just install the new version. Don’t worry you won’t lose any settings.

Hello, I’ve purchased the item today. It says it will only work on 2 domains and domains cannot unregister. I have 1 main domain and 2 development domains. How could I use it in my development domains? I expect to be able to unregister domains and move the licence between my development domains.

Test envs usually are installed in subdomains of the same server in order to test the exact hardware and configuration that will be lately used in the final production site.
In case different servers are used for testing purpose, they are usually pointed by different subdomain addresses via DNS A records.

No one is using different domains for different servers setup. The fact that you are using this particular way of testing is doesn’t mean that you can violate the licese terms. The fact that other plugins allows you to use their product without verifying the usage doesn’t mean that you are granted violate the envato license terms. Due to massive illegal distribution of the plugin,in order to not close the project, end product usage verification has been introduced.

The plugin activation system allows you to use unlimited subdomains and subfolders for two different domains. The license allows you to activate the software only for a webdomain (end product). You cannot unregister to use in another webdomain (end product), this would mean that you have used the plugin in more that one end product. The plugin already allows you to register two domains (but the second is just for testing purpose).
If you are willing to test in more than a server, use the DNS redirection as usually it is done in this cases.

Feel free to ask the refund, it won’t be granted for violating the license term.

Hey, back again. I’m very interested in getting the new features in the new version, but after I update, the upload box no longer appears on my cart page! There’s just a blank space where the upload box should be – I tried moving it to different places on the cart page, and the blank space just moves around. I also tried deactivating/deleting the plugin, then reinstalling it, and the problem still persists.

Make sure of the followings:
  1. once you updated you completed the activation by verifing the purchase code associated to the plugin
  2. that you have not enabled any visibility restriction while configuring the field (by payment gateway, user role, order status, ..)
  3. that in the Options menu you have not enabled any option under the Disable upload field standard managment section
  4. that no 3rd party plugins is interfering. In case disable all of them to see if you still experience the issue

Hello, I am writing to send photographic prints. I bought your plugin is great but I have a small cosmetic problem :).

On the page where I turned off the loading of photos, the “dodaj do koszyka” box is displayed correctly (+ 1 – dodaj do koszyka). link: https://odbitki.micuda.pl/product/testatsdadas/

The problem arose at the moment when I have a plugin with sending added to a given category. The field (dodaj do koszyka) is attached but next to this field ”+ 1 -” is not finished “extinguished” was alone + and -. I suppose that somewhere in the css style when the plugin is attached was disable: none; to extinguish + and -.

Your demo seems to have a different design, and I don’t anticipate that the cart options would be affected, but I wanted to ensure. Great work on this plugin!! the plugin just adds its elements (upload areas in the product, cart, checkout and/or order details pages), it won’t alter any other theme element. Furthermore it inherits the theme style for its elements (like the buttons), so you should have no problems :)
