Hi, I just installed the plugin for one of our clients. When your plugin is activated, I get 500 internal server errors. If I save the permalinks, it all goes away. If I edit a page, the 500 error comes back.
Is there anything I can do to prevent this? I don’t have much settings activated in your plugin. I only kept the new theme name and safe minify to remove original theme name etc…

great Plugin but the “Export Settings” function destroys special characters like german umlauts.
When setting up a text replace for Apple -> Äpfel
The exported settings show Apple -> \u00C4pple
Text replace entries can NOT be reimported correctly because of it.

I can’t register on your site (even though I have bought the plugin) so I will just post here.
I have an issue with NGINX, documentation isn’t very clear: “Add below lines right before try_files $uri $uri/ /index.php?q=$uri&$args; (it should not have #).”
1. In my config file I do not have that line at all. Where else might my config settings be other than the default nginx.conf? Is there another file I should be adding rewrite rules to?
2. What does “it should not have #” mean? I should not include # with hidemywp?

Can you please ask your hosting provider regarding the correct location of your site’s nginx config file?
2) “it should not have #” means that line should not start with # (only comments start with hash). Actually, you’ll need to add the HMWP rules within the “server{}” block in Nginx config file.

This cause the site to show order cancled on order confirmation page as well as order status.
PHP IDS is enabled. Where can I exclude that parameter? Is it in “Exception fields”? What should I put in there please?

Hi, goto Dashboard >> Intrusions, hover over the request(s) (that you want to add to exception list) and click on ‘Exclude’ link.
Can I get an older release of this plugin? The newer versions does not hide wp-login.php. I use a different plugin to hide the URL.

Hi, it’s always recommended to have the latest version of the plugin. And hiding wp-login.php should be working fine in the latest version. It might be conflicting with some other plugin in your site.

Hi, Thanks! Did you login as administrator or normal user? If it’s the issue when you log in as normal user then make sure that you set “trusted users roles” for the users in HMWP General settings tab.

Regarding malware attacks, HMWP or any other security plugins alone simply will not suffice. Hackers can get access to your site in number of ways. And in the malware attack above, it’s mainly due to loopholes in some outdated plugins. So you need to be careful when you install any theme or plugins or any 3rd party codes.
Is this safe for use on divi? does not damage my css and web features. I use the tab feature from DIVI, before using the lazy image jetpack it ruined the divi portfolio tab filter so I didn’t use it, does this hide WP plugin do not damage the DIVI tab filters and other features of my web

Hi, site breaks if HMWP cannot write to your site’s .htaccess file. So .htaccess file should be writable or else you’ll need to manually add rules there. You simply have to apply one of the pre-made settings in HMWP and you are done.

Hi, if subdomain is a part of WP-multisite then no need for separate license but if subdomain has separate installation of wordpress then you’ll need separate license for it.
