i am unable to create a field for name and date.

i want to create a survey where each questions only require text answers instead of options

You can add open text answers to the questions and any custom fields at the end of the survey. However, specifically date field is not available yet, it is already on my TODO list and will be added in the next version.

If you have any further questions, please send me a message via my profile page mail send or by the support tab as support provided in email.

Hello. Is it possible to export “ALL” the results in one single file, like a CSV where on each row i have the answers of the participants? I need this feature because, on my poll, i ask quality questions that are strictly related to the first answer. Eg: first question: “who served you?” then next questions on how the person who served the customers are strictly related to that answer.

Thank you

hello, do you have any news? i urgenttly need a way to export also the open text answers. thank you

Just sent it for you!

Ok i just did

Hello, i just bought the plugin and have few questions.

1) how do i hide the final screen where the results are shown?

2) although i have a shortcode like this [modalsurvey id=”686084252” style=”flat” align=”center” textalign=”center” width=”70%” visible=”true” message=”You already filled out this survey!”] the survey is shown 100% wide, why?

3) on a “open text” answer, if a user presses the “return” key on the keyboard, it will not go ahead, it will stay there. Is it possible to make the return key work to move forward?

4) is it possible to have an open text answer left blank and move forward?

Thank you

Unfortunately, I didn’t get any message from you yet. Could you resend it through my profile page mail sender?

Just got it and sent you a response.

Please, I am looking for adding a Front End Survey on my site .. A service provided by my site for free to visitors ..

Is this possible through your plugin?

thank you..

Hello,

Sure, this plugin allows you to create a survey on your site easily. You can check the demo here: Modal Survey for WordPress Demo

Find the documentation here: Modal Survey for WordPress Documentation

Regards,
Pantherius

I do not mean that..

I mean, whoever wants to create a survey, enters my site, and through my site he can do the survey as he wants.

Service provided by the site, such as Google Survey..

i hope you understand me..

Is this possible through your plugin?

thank you..

No sorry, it doesn’t allows to create survey on the frontend. It can be created by administrator privileges.

Can this be used with multiple vendors? Example one site with multiple vendors offering services like hair appointment. Can each vendor personal page on the site have it’s own booking/review/quote form? Also can the form be edited from the front end for vendors?

Hello,

It is depends on how the site has been created. If the vendors has a page only on the same site, then it should work.

Sorry, the survey can’t be edited on the frontend, it needs administrator privileges. If you even would like to achieve that, it can be done with some code customization only.

Hello , I have some pre-sale question. Our survey is about medical information of our client which can be more than 50 questions. We would like our client to be able to answer the questions , be able to save if not finish and can come back to complete it later as many time as they like and then click complete the survey to send it to us.

Then we would like to be able to print out the information of each individual. Please let us know if your plugin able to do this function.

Thank you.

Hello,

There are no limitations regarding to the number of questions. The plugin offer an option to continue the survey anytime, that can be turned ON on the survey edit screen.

However, there are no built-in print function, I’m pretty sure you can print the results using your browser or any 3rd party plugin.

Hello. We are in the early stages of putting together a website for a new real estate development project and are wondering if something like this below would be possible to set up with your plugin?

For example, when someone looks at our site and wants to know more about a property, perhaps we give them log-in credentials, they log-in, then go thru a series of pages with options (interior doors, kitchen counter tops, kitchen cabinets, door handles, light fixtures, interior trim, flooring, etc.)... Maybe give them 3-5 options, where they pick one that is their favorite, then move on to the next option…

It would be much like buying a ‘Dell’ computer, or maybe an ‘Audi’ car… Ideally, when they are finished, they would receive a generated spec sheet and a copy of that would go to the builder to estimate a price. Hopefully this makes sense. We are just trying to get a better handle on if this would be possible to build or not with your plugin. Thank you.

Hello,

It is possible to assign scores and categories to the answers, then redirect the browser based on the final or category scores. This way – with smart planning – you can build a product/real estate recommendation survey. Is that you are looking for?

Find the documentation and the demo page here.

Regards,
Pantherius

OK, thank you for the information.

You’re welcome!

is it support mycred point system ?

Hello,

Sorry, it is not a feature yet.

Regards,
Pantherius

I have three pre-sale questions: 1. Can I create a quiz that covers say three different topics throughout the quiz and then display the results in three different sections for each topic? (can these pages be tabbed?) 2. Can I have conditional answers? For example, let’s say if the answer is below 20%, answer “A” is given. If it’s below 50%, answer “B” is given and if below 70% answer “C” is given? 3. If #1 above is yes, on each of the separate results pages, can I embed videos? Thank you.

Hello,

1. It is possible to assign scores and categories to the answers, then display the results based on the category scores. Find it in the documentation here.

Tabbed display is not available by default, it can be achieved by some customization.

2. The plugin provides conditional shortcodes to display specific content in case the conditions you specified are true. Like:

[survey_conditions id="12345" advanced="finalscore > 1 AND questionanswer_1 = 3"]Display content when final score higher than 1 and the 3rd answer has been selected for question 1[/survey_conditions]

3. You can use the default WordPress editor to include any content and it can be processed on a page or post, therefore yes, you can include any content there, that is available in your editor.

Regards,
Pantherius

In my quiz, it will have 30+ questions. Is each answer entry given a “specific ID” and can I use that data multiple times in various separate calculations for separate results? For example: (1.) input A + input B = Answer C (2.)Input A + Input F + Answer C = Answer Z Thank you

Sorry, custom calculations for results not a feature at the moment.

Hi,

I’ve read the documentation and the plugin seems pretty great. What I’m interested in is mostly “fill in the blanks” type of questions. I wanted to make sure if it’s available or not.

Thank you.

Hello,

Could you specify how do you mean “fill in the blanks” type of questions? Do you mean open text answers?

If yes, then yes, one open text answer could be added to each questions.

Regards,
Pantherius

Do you have tutorial for lasted update - added ability to display percentages when using data=”question”

Hello,

That means, the following type of shortcode now supported:

[survey_answers id="12345" style="piechart" data="question" percentage="true" qid="1"]

Regards,
Pantherius

Hi

Im trying to show the pie chart in percentage, I was looking the docs and I didnt found it, please advice.

Also is I want to show the question with 2 lines, can I show the first line bolded (like a section or category).

Thanks in advance. Kind regards.

Hello,

Please add the following parameter to the results shortcode:

percentage="true"

You can add HTML to the question text, like:

<strong>this is the first line</strong><br />this is the second line

If you still have difficulties, please send me a message via my profile page mail sender.

Regards,
Pantherius

Thanks for the response, I put my short code like this: [survey_answers id=”3529241442” style=”piechart” data=”question” legend=”true” percentage=”true” qid=”1” bgcolor=”orange,blue,gray”]

It does nothing, regarding the percentage.

You’re welcome!

Just released the new version, that should solve the issue.

Please download it from your CodeCanyon downloads page then use the plugin’s built-in Update page under the Modal Survey admin navigation menu to upload the new ZIP and follow the on-screen instructions.

Hello Pantherius!

I just ordered another Modal Survey for a second project! I found some alignment issues (does not follow survey settings) on front end.

Also am not able to translate BACK and NEXT buttons. Have tried Loco translate (does not have this strings) and a branding plugin that translated only BACK but not NEXT!

I have already sent you a message, directly from support email used before ;-) with snapshots.

Thanks in advance to take a look at these issues for me.

All sucess to you and Modal Survey!

Hello,

Great to hear that you like the plugin and use it on another project!

Just sent you a message with the solutions.

The theme style seems to be overwrite the plugin styles, it was the reason the left align doesn’t worked. Solved it with few lines of custom CSS added to the Custom CSS page.

The translation issue also solved by clicked on the Sync button in Loco Translate, then the NEXT text immediately appeared below to translate.

Hello,

Is it possible to illustrate each question with an icon or an image? Example: https://www.brandlift.ch/Downloads/icon.png

We would need to use a different icon/image for each question. We don’t wish to use the trivia template.

Thanks in advance. Kind regards.

You’re welcome!

1. Please send me a message via my profile page mail sender to discuss it.

2. No, there is no feature, like “Create a section title”. As I mentioned, the title might be added to the question text with slightly different style. If it doesn’t fit to your need and you would like an individual input field for this on the admin, then that could be also achieved by code customization only.

3. No, the Open Text Answers accepts any text and it will be still text even you add values with the percentage sign. Furthermore, it can be extended with more by the users as it is open text answer.

4. Sorry, I don’t really understand how do you mean… Conditions couldn’t be used for open text answers.

Regards,
Pantherius

Thanks for your answers.

Ok, so if I want to get results as charts, I understood that I should not use open text feature.

Is there a slider feature that users can use to answer to numeric questions? For example to define a percentage, from 0 to 100?

Thanks in advance.
Kind regards.

You’re welcome!

Sorry, numeric answers with slider currently not yet available.

Hi, Is this plugin will work with theme which has login and logout feature.. I mean i am pretty interested that only registered users are allowed for quiz and they can see their completed quizzes and their scores in the page.

Hello,

Yes, it is possible to display the survey for logged in users only. You can check the documentation for full details here: Modal Survey Manual

Regards,
Pantherius

also is it possible to show their past completed quizzes and its scores respectively?

However, all completions of each users visible on the admin area, it is possible to show the latest one on the frontend area. If you would like to show more, that can be achieved by code customization.

Regards,
Pantherius

Scenario: There are 3 categories within the survey and I want to display specific text to advise them based on which category the respondent scored highest or lowest.

It doesn’t seem like this plugin can do that. It can only set condition based on number of points scored, but not relative to other categories ( respondent’s highest or lowest scoring category for that survey).

Is this correct?

1. However, it can be easily modify to apply the first alphabetically only or both, even I recommend you to find out the survey to avoid this issue by assigning scores properly to the answers.

2. No, the value parameter could be anything in this case, it doesn’t matter.

Regards,
Pantherius

Sorry, re 1, your answer was not clear to me, so just to confirm again: a.) By default, if I have shortcodes to display content for lowest category, it will display both content when both categories score equally as lowest score category? b.) Otherwise, how would you modify to display just one?

It is display the first highest category when more categories with the same scores.

In case you would like to show all of them, that can be achieved by some code customization.

Regards,
Pantherius

Hello,

I have your plugin on another website but have a new client that needs a voting system on their website. I am trying to see if your plugin can do what they need.

Needs to allow people to vote for a total of 15 people. There will be about 100 people on the list. Voter needs to be able to see how many people they have selected out of their 15 votes in a running total. Only 1 set of 15 votes per email address.

Does your plugin support this type of function?

Hello,

However, it is possible to restrict the voting to logged in users only, it is not possible to limit by number of people. Alternatively, it might be achieved with a custom role and some code customization to allow logged in voting with that role only.

I don’t really understand the second part. Will be 15 answers (people) in a single question, then it needs to be displayed how many answers has been selected? If yes, then it can be done with assigning score 1 to each answers and show the total score at the end.

Allowing to complete the survey once for each participants already a feature.

Regards,
Pantherius

There will be 1 question. There will be 100 choices. The person completing the survey can choose 15 choices from the 100 total. I would like for the person taking the survey to know how many selections they have left to make. So as they look at the 100 choices and make 5 choices it should display they have 10 remaining choices to make. Is this possible.

No sorry. It can be achieved by some code customization.

Regards,
Pantherius

presale question 1: is it possible to “invite” the participant via code to prevent a double participation? presale question 2: does modal survey record the results, even if the participant interupts the survey? Thanks a lot…! Cy.

Please check the documentation here: Modal Survey for WordPress Documentation

Ok, i did. but it means a “User” has to be registrated and loged in to make the survey. A “Visitor” of the Website can make the survey more than one time.

No.

As you can see, visitors also able to complete the survey on the demo page here: Modal Survey for WordPress
