The Ultimate Addons for WPBakery Page Builder is compatible with the standard version of WPBakery Page Builder available here. I am sorry, but we haven’t used the Salient theme and therefore have not tested the page builder within.
Ideally, things should work fine if the page builder has not undergone many alterations. I would suggest you to consult the theme author once and check for this.
However, in case you come across an issue with the Ultimate Addons for WPBakery while using it with this theme, we’ll be glad to look into the matter and help you with it.

Hello, i can’t seem to make the plugin work on my website. None of the main fuctions like adding a gradient background or separator are working. I already checked and all the modules are enabled. So been searching for a VC addon pack that included just a simple category list with post count etc.. that you could exclude/include what categories you want.. etc.. is this something that might be in your pack or that you might add? I am sure its a rather simplistic thing to code in.. just seems no one has thought to through this in.

Just to let you know, the Ultimate Addons for WPBakery Page Builder are a set of addons for the WPBakery Page Builder which was earlier known as Visual Composer. Currently, it works only with the WPBakery Page Builder.
Regarding your requirement mentioned above, thank you for suggesting that! I have gone ahead and shared the idea with our developers. We’ll definitely look into it and check whether it can be implemented anytime soon. 
Hi there, great set of addons for WP Bakery! Regarding the modal box, is there a way of adding a close button inside the popup window? This would be ideal for mobile users as the ‘X’ button to close the popup is not shown when in responsive mode.

We have an option that will allow you to add a close button inside the popup window. Here is a screenshot you can refer to.
It’s good plugin, very good, but because it conflict with buddypress… I have to deactivate, and switch to other addons.
with this plugin activated, on buddypress activity page, when you click on a activity deleting button, it will pop up a window ask if you are sure, then you confirm that, then the activity will be deleted, and the activity automatic refreshed! it’s going to be such a pain in the ass if you have more than one activity to delete!!! ...
wish this could be fixed…

I love icon manager in the plugin soooo much… i wish i could have it work.. but with the whole plugin being activated, it has some conflict on buddypress activity page when deleting an activity. instead of not leaving the page, page refresh on every deleting..

I was trying to use a model box that would open when clicking on a class selector, it was fine when I would put a button element or a link element on the page with that style.
However when I try to use a shortcode that I have written that generates an link with the style, the modal box element is unable to attach the required classes and data to make the modal box open.
Any ideas as to why the Modal Box in unable to locate the element when it is created by a shortcode of mine (that is fired via a hook)?

It is not possible to add an event tracking code to the button used to trigger a modal popup. This button solely comes with the function to trigger the popup.
What you can do is, use an Advanced Button of the Ultimate Addons to trigger a modal popup and add an advanced on-click option as shown in the screenshot here.
