Is there any way to troubleshoot tabs not showing up? I watched the tabs tutorial and it seems pretty straight forward. However, when I add a tabs block and then add menu items as submenus of the tab block, none of the menu items show up.

Actually, nothing shows up on the menu; not the tab toggles or anything. If I remove the tab block, all of the menu items that were below the tab block do show up on the menu.

But if I readd the tab block, then all the menu items below it don’t show up on the menu. I reset all settings in ubermenu and started with just the minimal base skin. I removed all custom css and customizations to the header, so I’m using a default header in the theme, which is Vitrine. And the tabs still don’t show. I really don’t know what could be causing it. It’s just a big blank spot where the tab block should be.

Here is a screenshot of my menu structure. I haven’t added all the items yet, but you can see the basic layout. I’m trying to do 2 levels of tabs here. I saw on your website that this is possible. I have tried 1 level of tabs and I get the same result, which is nothing shows up on the menu.

Hi MHP28,

It sounds like you likely have interference from the theme which is hiding the tabs. Please Submit a Ticket so that our support team can assist you. As I’ve explained to you 3 times previously, all support is provided via the support center, not item comments. Thank you

I buy almost all of my plugins and themes and addons through this site for convenience. If I wanted to go get support through 50 different sites, I wouldn’t even use this site to buy stuff.

You are one of the few sellers I have encountered who forces you to go through their site. I bought the Ubermenu, Ubermenu Sticky, and ShiftNav, which I recently renewed through your site, only because you don’t sell it on here, and you removed the Ubermenu Sticky from this site, so I guess I’m supposed to renew it through your own site, even though I was supposed to get continuous updates on here at no additional cost.

I’m sure you can understand why no one wants to do that.

Hi MHP28,

Unfortunately, we simply cannot provide support efficiently or effectively through CodeCanyon comments. You don’t need to create an account or keep track of anything additional to receive support – just click the “Support” button in the upper right of your UberMenu Control Panel, it’ll auto-fill the form for you, you enter your question, and submit it. You’ll receive an email reply where we can further assist you, and you can reply directly from your email inbox, so you never have to visit CodeCanyon or our site after submitting your ticket – it’s actually much easier than having to come back here and post comments every time. This way you can share things like site URL or potentially credentials privately, and we can more easily share helpful resources with you.

You do indeed still receive your updates on UberMenu Sticky for free, your license is still valid, you can read about that here: https://sevenspark.com/announcements/ubermenu-extensions-now-available-exclusively-sevenspark-com – you get updates right through your WordPress admin.

Please go ahead and Submit a Ticket if you have any further questions, and we’ll be happy to help you out.

Thanks!

How to hide column words on mobile device?? Please check this screenshot: https://ibb.co/hA3Jd8

Hi pasky,

If you are seeing [column] in your menu, that means that that menu is not an UberMenu, so the plugin does not control that menu. You cannot use UberMenu advanced items in non-UberMenus. So you’d either need to replace the menu with an UberMenu or not use those items in that menu.

Again, as I have already requested of you 3 times, if you have any further questions or need assistance, you must Submit a Ticket and we’ll be happy to help you out. We cannot provide support via item comments. Any further requests made here will be referred to the support center. Thanks for your cooperation.

Have a great weekend

How to make the submenu display like this: https://ibb.co/e0gn5o ??

Hi pasky,

You’ll want to use [Column] items as I recommended in your earlier comment to achieve that.

Again if you have any further questions, please be sure to Submit a Ticket so that our support team can assist you – thanks!

There are 2 menus appeared on my website. How do I remove the second one? Please check this screenshot: https://ibb.co/bPhoBT

Hi pasky,

That indicates that your theme generates two menus (likely one for desktop and one for mobile), and your theme is replacing both. Please Submit a Ticket so our support team can assist you with your site – all support is provide via the support center – thanks!

The mega sub menu looks so messy, please check this screenshot: https://ibb.co/cFmgWT

Please help me fix it.

Thanks~

Hi pasky,

It looks like you will want to use [Column] menu items there to organize your submenu if you’d like to eliminate those gaps.

If you have any further questions, please be sure to Submit a Ticket – all support is provided via the support center, not item comments – thanks!

Hi,

I downloaded the ‘latest version’ of UberMenu on April 25 (just 3 weeks ago!) for a new build, but I don’t think that’s what I got from my account… My host updated this site to PHP 7.1 today because I couldn’t use their server cache and optimizer tools. It plastered a mile of UberMenu errors above the menu.

How do you tell what version is actually being downloaded? Don’t even find that info in the site admin as you do for a theme. Need to make sure I do have the latest version for the next site build that I”m starting next week.

I put the ‘temporary fix’ in the class.php found on your website from January, which fixed it on the current new build – but I’d like to have the freshest code possible on the upcoming project!

Just downloaded it again, but what version do I really have?????

Please advise.

Thanks

Hi mobetta,

The current version is 3.4.0.1. This is listed as the latest release in the changelog on the product page.

You can view the current version you have installed in your WordPress plugins page (that’s standard for every plugin), or by going to the UberMenu Control Panel. The version is shown in both places.

The version you download from here is always the latest version, though that may not be what you have installed (if you need the PHP7 fix, then clearly that was an older version you were running). You can also get automatic updates by entering your license code in the Control Panel, assuming you are running a recent version.

Please keep in mind that the license is single-use, so if you’re using it on a second project, you’ll want to pick up a new license for that site. Of course, the download there will be the latest version.

Hope that helps – if you have any further questions, please be sure to Submit a Ticket – all support is provided via the support center, not item comments – thanks!

How does one trigger ubermenu from an image or icon that’s a separate entity on the page? THank-you

Hi HouseofStrauss,

It depends on what you mean by “trigger UberMenu” – you’re probably looking for either the UberMenu Javascript API to open a submenu, or creating a custom toggle to toggle the mobile menu. Please Submit a Ticket with details of what you’re trying to achieve and we can help you out – all support is provided via the support center and not item comments – thanks!

Is it possible to create a menu that just has one icon, like a hamburger button, and then when you hover over it a megamenu appears below it? I can create a menu with just a single icon, but when I hover over it the megamenu is only as wide as the icon. I want the megamenu to be much wider than the one icon, of course.

It is indeed all you need to do to prevent UberMenu from bounding your submenus. If the width of your submenu is still restricted, that’s an indication that your theme is now bounding the submenus, which is of course not something UberMenu can automatically control, though it’s generally simple to fix in your theme. This is explained in the Knowledgebase: Submenu Bounds (Maximum Submenu Width)

Again, if you have any further questions or need assistance, you must Submit a Ticket and we can help you out – we cannot provide support via item comments.

I set the parent element to position: static, but then it moved the element/menu from the left side of the header to the right side. Then I added a float: left to the parent element and it moved back to the left side and the submenu is full width now like I want it. Is this the appropriate way to do it?

That sounds fine, however, this is something that completely depends on the theme, so it’s not something I can properly assess with the information given.

Again, if you have further questions or need assistance, you must Submit a Ticket so we can help you there. We will not be able to provide any further support via item comments. Thanks for your cooperation.

Pre sales Q: is it possible to make for mobile a sticky horizontal bottom menu, see https://material.io/design/components/bottom-navigation.html#anatomy (max 5 items where the last one is the hamburger menu.( also a place for wpml language chooser). is ubemenu wpml compatibel?

Hi Keesjan123,

There isn’t a setting to stick the menu to the bottom of the page, but it’d be easy to achieve with custom CSS plus the “Invert Submenus” setting.

If you are asking about using it as a mobile menu that way, however, I wouldn’t recommend it, as a sticky mobile menu with a lot of items can cause accessibility issues on small screens.

For WPML, please see WPML Compatibility

Hope that helps – if you have any further pre-purchase questions, please submit them here: http://sevenspark.com/pre-purchase and we can discuss further to see if UberMenu is the right tool for your project :)

For the usability part of the solution: read https://material.io/design/components/bottom-navigation.html#anatomy and see FaceBook website on mobile. Only use max 5 buttons. the first 4 are top task buttons, the last one is the hamburger menu. It solves thumb stretching on mobile. Any plans the add it to your roadmap? You could be the first in the market to have it. When you add it, I def buy your great menu plugin!

Hi Keesjan123,

Yeah it’s not the buttons but the submenus that are the potential issue :) It’s probably not something that would fit into UberMenu, but perhaps a mobile-specific menu plugin. Thanks for the feedback! Feel free to get in touch here: http://sevenspark.com/pre-purchase if you have any further questions

Hello, can i do a three column header using UberMenu? I mean logo the first column, main navigation menu on the second column, and search icon on the third column. Can I do something like that?

Hi markyeoj,

It’s not 100% clear what you’re looking for, and it also depends on your theme header layout as to how that would work – please Submit a Ticket with the details of what you’re trying to achieve and we’ll help you out – thanks!

ticket submitted, i hope you could help me guys, I need your help so bad.

Hello, after the last update of the plugin, I have two arrows (instead of one) that appear to indicate a submenu, how to delete this second arrow? Thank you. https://ibb.co/mJdv0d

We’ve replied to your ticket – we have checked from multiple machines and devices, and there is only one arrow currently displaying on your site. You likely just need to clear your local browser cache now. If you have any further questions, you can reply to the email support ticket.

It’s ok now. thank you.

You’re welcome, glad to hear that.

I’d just like to say, support for this product is awesome. I got friendly, detailed help/support when I needed it and it’s an amazing plugin, it really is extensive in what it can do. If you’re reading these comments as a pre-sales check, don’t hesitate – it’s the best menu system out there.

Thank you so much for your kind words, exouk! Glad we could help and great to hear that you’re enjoying the plugin! :)

I´ve tested another menu plugin in my website created with a theme based on SPA (Single Page Aplication), and in the desktop the menu overides great the default menu, and dont refresh all the website when i choose the options, as its suposed to be… but in mobile this does not work… the original menu works without refreshing the intire site, but if i use the new menu in mobile this does not happen… Do you know if this happens with Ubermenu too? thanks

Hi lost1515,

That’s going to depend largely on how the SPA itself works. Remember that at its core, a menu is just a list of links – so it just depends on how the SPA handles those links, prevents redirects, loads page blocks, etc. It might work out of the box or it might need some tweaks, can’t really tell without testing them together, unfortunately.

If you have any further pre-purchase questions, please submit them here: http://sevenspark.com/pre-purchase and we’ll be happy to discuss further – thanks! :)

Hi, do you have a way to switch the uber menu to a more modern style? That curved effect is pretty outdated. I believe i bought a add-on that allowed Ubermenu to have a flat style but i believe you discontinued it along with a bunch of other add-ons i bought (like the menu organizer i really liked). Thanks in advance

Hi pisaacwilliams,

If you’re looking for a flat style, that is very easy to achieve in the Customizer by setting a single color for the menu bar background. If you purchased the Flat Skins pack, it is not discontinued though now sold elsewhere, but you can still download your purchase, please see the Extensions Announcement. If by “menu organizer” you’re referring to the Menu Management Enhancer, that is still available through CodeCanyon and should be available through your CodeCanyon Downloads Page if you have purchased that previously.

Hope that helps – if you have any further questions, please be sure to Submit a Ticket – thanks!

Will this work out of the box with the Bridge theme for WordPress? Does a stylesheet exist for it? Thanks.

Hi p1burgh7p,

We don’t have a specific guide for Bridge, though I’ve seen many customers use it successfully. In general, please see this FAQ: Will UberMenu work with my theme?

There isn’t a theme-specific stylesheet if that’s what you’re looking for, though you can use any of the included skins, use the Customizer to set up your own, or customize it completely with your own skin.

Hope that helps – if you have any further pre-purchase questions, please submit them here: http://sevenspark.com/pre-purchase and we’ll be happy to help you out – thanks! :)

Hi, I like this product , it is usefull for me

Great to hear that, eravanbakhsh12! :) If you have any questions, feel free to get in touch by Submitting a Ticket

Have a good one!

can i add a multiple article/post to the menu? like when hover or click it will show the title, image with half content, 5 articles or more. can i make the menu full-width? is it compatible to all wordpress themes?

thanks

Hi leetskil,

You can add multiple posts of any type to the menu. Those post menu items can show the title and image, though I’m not sure what you mean by “half content”. To your other questions, please see the Knowledgebase: How can I make the menu full width? and Will UberMenu work with my theme?

Hope that helps – If you have any further pre-purchase questions, please submit them here: http://sevenspark.com/pre-purchase and we’ll help you determine if UberMenu is the right option for you :)

Hi guys, I wanna know if its possible to set a underline on hover menu and active menu items, and if there’s a way to put son fade in effects or growth effects when it appears. Thanks!

Hi murguiareynaldo1,

There isn’t a setting for that, but it’s certainly possible to add an underline with some custom CSS. If you’d like to Submit a Ticket, we can help you out with a little tweak to set that up :)

Have a great weekend!

Thanks, I submited a ticket!
