Hi, I sent an email days ago and never received a response. I simply want to know if I wold be able to make multiple ecards. For example, I have a website and the company have multiple departments. I need to make an ecard for every department with different images. Is this possible?

No, it uses the native Akismet, saving several requests.
What do you mean saving requests? Do I have to have the Akismet plugin installed and activated? I prefer Google recaptcha.
Saving requests as in faster.
Akismet is installed on every WordPress site. You just need to activate it and add a key. With Akismet, you don’t need any interaction, such as filling in a field or clicking a “I am not a robot” checkbox.

No, it’s not possible. It’s spammy. The limit is there for your protection.

No, you can’t send video eCards, only images.
Nicly put together script NOW ! if you and this chap https://codecanyon.net/item/instapostcards/13069694 could get together to make one script that would be great 
That script involves social interaction which would make the new GDPR policies harder to enforce client-side.

What I have noticed is the “template” or when you select an image that has been uploaded by us attaching it to the page works sometimes and sometimes doesn’t. When we try to send one with the user upload feature, it has yet to work.
If I gave you wordpress creds would you be able to take a look at my settings? I’m not sure why it would work only some of the time but it makes it hard to troubleshoot.

I just bought plugin, and put 2 jpg images, and put [ecard]. Image are not selectable, just thumbnail; why this dent put a selection like your demo ? Thank you

I got the email. It’s strange, I will investigate it. I see the radiobox below the image, so you can select the image by checking the box. In your example, the box is checked by default because you only have one image.
If you want to use a bigger image, go to the plugin’s Settings and play with the sizes.

Hello. How to avoid displaying ALL my images from the media gallery when using the [ecard] shortcode in the widget when it appears on the frontpage? Please help me. No, I don’t want to use the ‘noselect’ altext for hundreds of images that I actually want to appear when sending an ecard from the pages they are actually attached to. Or, alternatively, how to disable the widget from appearing on the frontpage?
There is no widget, unless you place it there.
The shortcode should be placed on a page or a post and several images (eCards) uploaded/attached. The plugin will only see those eCards and display them in a grid, as seen in the demo: https://getbutterfly.com/support/documentation/ecards/ecards-demo/If your homepage is based on a page, there shouldn’t be any issue with displaying ONLY the attached images.
Hello: 1) Is there a way to change the behaviour of the [ecard-link] shortcode so that it could point not to the attachment post of the image used in the ecard but to the ecard post itself? 2) Why are ecards sent from wordpress@[mydomain] instead of the address I’ve set as “Dedicated email address” and appear as having “WordPress” as the sender? 1. The page/post could contain one or more eCards, so the plugin uses the attachment template, which can be easily styled by the administrator, by changing/editing the attachment.php template file in the theme’s directory.
2. The “Dedicated email address” feature is supposed to prevent marking the emails as spam/junk. You need to use Mail From II plugin (which is free) to customise the sender’s email address.

Can I see who sent the ecards from the admin back-end? If so, what happen if I delete the each individual sent or all to clear the database so it wouldn’t tied up the server?

Hi, yes the plugin works with any membership plugin.
Users cannot see their own or received eCards inside the website, only inside their email clients.
The sent eCards get stored in the database, but the option is disabled by default.
You can use an email log plugin to see who sent eCards. I mainly use SendGrid as I have full visibility over what has been sent.
There is an upload feature, but it’s disabled in the demo, as I got thousands of images uploaded by users. The upload feature works with local files and with Dropbox files.
Preview (Demo) is not working. Would like to test the system as an end user before purchasing, if possible?

Hi. We have added the plugin and everything seems to be working well, except when we send a scheduled eCard. eCards that aren’t scheduled send completely fine. When one is scheduled it is not received by the recipient and /or the sender that is cc’d. No, this is a PayPal limitation.

The plugin only allows for image files – JPG or PNG – and animated GIFs. You can’t place text on top of the image.
So once you create a custom message with ecard that is created on a post page that in addition to being sent via email, van also be shared via social media with a share this plugin?
It’s not possible, because the message is sent via email only. It’s not saved anywhere. This is also a privacy thing, as some messages can be quite personal and we didn’t introduce a message saving feature.
Can I set a default message to go out with each card and not custom message from user? I would pay for this feature
Yes, you can.The feature is already in there.
Emails have horrible reach. Can you integrate any sharing script? For example Add This, Share This. So user is sent the card through sharing and not on email?
I’m sure you can implement it by adding the script to your posts/pages. This is an email plugin, and adding Add This or Share This would be outside the scope of the plugin.
Can the layout be changed on how the e-card displays on the page? Would rather it look more like dayspring ecard setup like this https://www.dayspring.com/ecards/ecard/view/ecard/1908/category/209/—large pic on left and the share buttons to the right, rather than picture on top and scroll down page to see the form.
It can be done, but using custom CSS and maybe a bit of JavaScript. But not inside the plugin, as it would depend on the theme.
