Hi, you can either upgrade it from your WP Backend, or else upload hide_my_wp Plugin folder and its contents to /wp-content/plugins/ directory (replacing the previous) via FTP or hosting control panel. Make sure that you have entered HMWP purchase code in HMWP settings.

I have another plugin installed and it is using cronjobs to crawl other websites. Each time a cronjob is executed, in the url we see www.mydomain.com/?doing_wp_cron=somenumbers. And right at this moment, the fact that I am using WP is no more hidden 
Is there a way to hide the ”?doing_wp_cron=” from the url ?

Usually the cron jobs run in the background only!
Hi dear Namus, thanks for the fast reply. The cronjob execution is not visible to visitors directly. But each time it is executed, the ”?doing_wp_cron” job execution appears in the url. And because of that the fact that I am using WP is no more hidden… The chrome WP detector extention shows my site as WP immediatly, as it sees the ”?doing_wp_cron” in the url. And I couldnt find how to overcome this…
