what version of codeigniter plugin is the script using ….does it support php 7
Smart School latest released version 3.0.0 is running on latest Codeigniter version 3.1.6 . We have tested it on PHP version 7.1 till release. Though its working properly on latest PHP 7.2 also.

As of now I have observed some of the key concepts in ver 3.0 please be read carefully try to fix it in coming updates-—-—

1.Exam result and result sms should be published only after click on Shedule publish button on examination section
2.Email, SMS log should be meaning full like total number of messages sent and message type and message body and date and time
3.In bulk sms section provide Remaining SMS cridits available and counter for no of charecter(160).
4.provide a well designe fee payment slip
5.Time table section—Time table should be class section wise,Teacher wise,and all for school wise (total all classes group and all teachers group)
6.Teacher section attendence should take only his alloted class and he only can view his alloted class students not all stuents available in the school the same as marks also alloted only to his stuents
7…In the student pannel the stuudent can view to his teacher alloted
8.Inventory module in item supplayer -how can we know which item supplayer --provide drop down box to select the created irem by using add item
9. I dont understand in the issue item from inventory there are users given those who logged in automatically the user will be selected in the issue to box the createria will be as select class-section-student other wise better to use admission number search or using barcode reader for getting perticular student.
10.Better to go sales as POS system along with print receipt.

Sir, we already received too many valuable suggestions from you. If you think currently Smart School is useful for your requirements then think to purchase it. Otherwise wait for our next major version release then give us more suggestions.
I like your script I want to purchase for my three schools i would like to make the script is best in all aspect that’s way I am following from the initial release to till counting that’s why i am checking each release and suggesting your script it is taking much time to me to review on every release.you still not fixed the basic modules like HR,Exams and certificate hope you will complete nest major release when and what we will expect in next major version thank you.Last one suggestion for ver3.0.0 1.if possible make POS in inventory module if not at least make receipt for payments 2..make birthday wishes and fee due sms automatic sending. for bio metric attendance refer UHF RFID Standalone Terminal and their products.3.payment receipt with good format.

In this current version can we use download center to upload study materials for “teachers” only??
No but many clients has been requested to add section while we select class for download center, we will add this feature in next minor version release then you can expect upload content for only teachers.

I can’t find that option anywhere. There is option of sending messages but i can’t seem to find Attendance and Exam result SMS notification.
And one more thing Why are the headers not included in Print view? I mean if i print Class routine or Exam result sheet, it only shows Result or Attendance and not the full information, like School name, Class name, Attendance Month etc.

Admission, Login credential, Fees, Absent attendance and Exam Result sms and email notifications send automatically by system. You can enable/disable it through Admin Panel > System Settings > Notification Setting .
Currently Printing Report Card feature is not available in Smart School, we are working on Examination module to improve it so school can conduct real life examination and print professional report cards.
What if i want to send mobile SMS notification to all the parents of a class, whether their child is Present or Absent or whatever the status of Attendance is?
And i was asking about Print View of all the Reports in Smart School. Why header information is not included? Because other than that all functionalities are available, that i want.

As we have told earlier Attendance notification will send for Absent attendance. If you want to sent Present or Absent what ever then you have to customize the application.
Generally reports are in table format, data export an print is provided by js datatable plugin, it is very due to limitation of datatable functionality as it does not have any thing like header in print or export. Though soon we will work on Reports and charts features to provide more analytics and business oriented reports then we will try add header in all print and exports.

1. Can we integrate this custom SMS Gateway API ? https://www.smsindiahub.in/developer-sms-api/
2. The SMS API uses fixed SMS template formats for transactional SMS, so will you provide us all the formats/templates that the system uses so we can submit and get them approved by the gateway ?
3. Can we modify/add new SMS templates to it ?
4. How well is the responsiveness of the system if we want to use it based on iPad (browser) instead of a normal PC ? Most of our teaching staff is not well versed in computer since its a low spec school in low-economy zone. So we want something that has easy navigation and can be used easily (like many iPad apps use large icons in a grid look for ease of access)
5. Is there any support for events and galleries (photo) ?
6. Can the fees register, expenses, etc. be downloaded in a excel or PDF for accounting purposes (tax filing, etc.)
7. Does it support any physical ID card system (like you can scan barcode on student card for instant ease of student data/search)

However, is there any problem in installation on hostgator or shared hosting ? When trying to open the root directory, it keeps showing/redirecting to a 404 error page. When we directly open /install/start the requirements page opens and shows everything okay, but on clicking next/continue (for database) the script again shows 404 error. There is nothing in error_log too
Version 3.0.0 has a installation bug which results url redirection at previous state on some servers. Please open a support ticket at our support portal http://support.qdocs.in so we can send you instant patch to fix this issue or if you want we will install on your hosting server.

Please note that Smart School does not support multi branch or multi school solution. Smart School regular license permits you to run/use it one single school/branch/end for another school/branch/end you have to purchase another license of Smart School from codecayon. if you want to customize it to use in 5 schools then you have to purchase 4 extra license from codecanyon.
Regarding admin customization, we provide customization service to our existing clients but our customization team is already busy with other clients till February 2018. Smart School customization is very easy for any developer who has php + codeigniter skills so if you want you can hire any local developer for Smart school customization.
Feature Request: In any kind of lists, for eg. Students List, Fee collection, Reports, etc there should be ability to save the visibility settings. In many cases we don’t need to print all the columns and also it is difficult to choose visibility of each student while printing. For eg. If I want to give print out all the unpaid fees of each month in A5 sheet of each student, I need to hide many columns. Doing to this to 100s of students is not an easy job.
Hope developers will add the option to save option to save the choosen column visibility in each lists or reports in the future releases.
There is “Column Visibility” button present in every table where you can select how many columns you want in print or in pdf export. Please check it i think your requested feature is already present since version 2.1.0
Column visibility is available and it is a nice feature. But the problem is now we need to set the visibility for each student. It is difficult. There should be some options to save the visibility criteria for each list. So no need to do set the column visibility for another student.

Thanks for your interest in Smart School. Smart School android/ios app will take some more time before mobile app we have to add some core modules like Front CMS, HR, Calender etc.

Front CMS module can be expect in next major version. For Android app first we like to add all major modules like, Front CMS, HR etc. then we will add Android app and iOS app. Regarding upcoming version features list, we will post coming version features list when we are near to release new version. We are working hard to make Smart School more better day to day, update by update.

Thanks for your compliments. Yes bio metric attendance system is high demanding feature. Few months ago we have done some work on it but due to full dependency of bio metric hardware machine its not possible to integrate single machine to cover global release. So we are still working on it to provide global release of hardware compatibility. Though first we will provide bio metric device attendance support for Indian subcontinent machines available on Amazon.
Can you add POS module for sell books & school uniforms etc in inventory section HRM,Certificate Management and Bio-metric modules in coming update priority list.

Import student from csv features is not included sms notification yet because soon we are going to change student profile internal mechanism to add custom filed feature then will work on import students from csv for sending admission notification. for marks, and absent sms notification we have received your support ticket #1771 , wait we are reviewing and reply shortly on your support ticket.

We Need Online Test Module Where Teacher Can Create Class Test and students can login give the online test after submitting the result the Teacher or Admin Can Declare result . The Result Should have Student Ranking Order for example if a student score highest than on leaderboard it should show first rank etc. Do you planning to work on this module. Please Let me Know
I also need the markseet to published in percentage or grading system . We need a facility to select the markseet Printing type
Online test module will be added in future, it is in our plan but it is in low priority. Before it we want add core modules, as you can check existing examination module need many improvements so first we like to improve core examination module then we will add online examination module. Marksheet print feature will be added soon we are working on examination module soon you will see new features in existing examination module.

Yes you can sue same code in different sub domain. But Smart School comes with regular license that means with single purchase you can sue it for single school/branch/end to use with another school/branch/end you have to purchase another license of Smart School.
