This is a Pre Sale Question. We have a coupon site and we do want to provide gift card for other vendor sites not for our own use.
We get a bulk of gift card codes from vendors and want to import as individual cards on our site. That means CODES should be as imported, they should marked to be purchased a single time only, and there must be options to set different images as per different vendors.
Apart from that, we do call vendors api to get giftcard code and based on that create a product instantly via coding.
Can i achieve above functionality by your plugin. If yes, i am very much interested to have a backend demo.

Hi, will this work for restaurants who want to sell gift cards online but for offline use or it is only for e-commerce use?

Coupon’s usage cannot handle in offline way properly, for example – If any customers comes to your restaurant having a Gift coupon with him and ask for some discount then you may give him the requested discount as set as gift coupon amount but there is no way to set increment their usage (say how many time that coupons has been used).

I am having two issues and I am hoping you can help me out with that.
First, there is a text in WooCommerce emails as well as the My Account page that says “Mail to recipient” as the delivery method. This text is not translatable. I have no problems translating everything else in the mails and the order pages except that string.
Second issue: Is there a way to automatically complete an already paid order containing a gift card. The problem is that we do sell virtual products and rely on orders being autocompleted so that the product is sent out immediately when the order is paid. This does not work when a customer buys an gift card too because your plugin seems to keep the order in pending status and autocompletion wont work.

I tried to localize the plugin via Loco Translate, but quickly stumbled upon some strings which obviously were not part of the .po file.
For example stuff on the product page:
“Giftcard Notice”
“This gift card will expire after xx days after purchase.”
Strangely, “From” on the same page can be translated, but GIFT MESSAGE (right below) can’t.
Also, all colons there have the French space between them and the last letter. It simply looks odd in other languages.
So, how can I fully localize the plugin?
Okay, I found that the issue was within Loco Translate. It created a .pot file which was incomplete. I now translate from .po with poedit. You really should include a .pot file in the plugin.

$woo_ver = WC()->version;
Removing the reference to WC()->version seems to fix the issue.

I just purchased your plugin and am having some problems.
1. Where can I add the PDF attachment for emails? I want to add a previously formatted PDF.
2. When displaying all 3 delivery method options on a giftcard product page the options and their descriptions are confusing and poorly arranged. It’s very confusing for customers. I’m assuming there is no way for me to edit this myself?
If not, you really need to alter this please so that the description comes immediately after the radio button option and THEN the data entry field. Some of the actual text also needs to be changed to make more sense in English. There also needs to be at least 15-20 px padding between each option to make it easier to read.
Please see below for exactly what I mean:
DELIVERY METHOD:
O Email To Recipient
We will send the gift card directly to your recipient’s email address.
Please enter your recipient's email
O You print the Gift Card
After checking out, you can print a physical copy of your giftcard to give to the recipient.
Please enter your recipient's name
O We will ship a gift Certificate to an address of your choice

It would also be really helpful if the radio buttons were all aligned on the left (as they are) but the rest of the text and inputs were indented and aligned 10px to the right . With the current formatting, the data entry fields and the explanations all fall directly below the radio buttons which makes everything look messy and makes it hard to distinguish between the different options.

After enabling the PDF setting from “Other Setting Tab” in Backend, Customer will get an email with PDF attachment . This PDF will automatically generated as any successful purchasing of Giftcard Product . There is no other way to put your PDF with that email.

About the Text-> We will provide the settings for each of the text in “Delivery Method” in our just next release From where you can put your own text.

Hi guys. I downloaded the latest version 2.0.0 and there is NOT an option for enabling PDF in the “Other Setting Tab”. Under Woocommerce -> Gift Manager --> Other Settings the only 5 options are:
Enable Bcc option for Giftcard mails
Disable Apply Coupon Fields
Disable Resend Button
Disable Send Today Button
Disable Preview Button…
Where exactly can I activate the PDF – as without it – the gift card being printed through the email client looks awful.

I just told you above I have ALREADY deleted the plugin, re-downloaded and re-installed it THREE times now in the last 24 hours – and it continually keeps re-installing version 2.0.0.
