Hi guys. I noticed a bug in “back” synchronization with Google. When deleting event directly in google calendar, stays in bookly (it should be deleted).
Steps: 1. I created event trough bookly frontend form 2. event showed up in bookly calendar & synchronized (showed up) in staff member google calendar 3. I deleted event directly in google calendar 4. BUG: deletion didn’t propagate back to bookly calendar (should delete the event in there too I suppose?)

This is not a bug, this functionality is not available – appointments can be cancelled only from Bookly and not from google calendar.

Hi there
We have been using Bookly for many years, including Locations, Deposit, and Extras features – a great products.
Our salon customer receive a notification from ‘Combined’ sms and email due to ‘Extras’, which limits the message to Cart codes – however we would like to send our customers the location of the appointment.
How can I add Location to our Cart or to the Combined notifications?

Hi,
When selecting a customer on the appointment screen on mobile there used to be a search field, however this has now disappeared and I have to manually scroll through each customer. Is there any way of getting this back?

How come when my page loads it auto scrolls to the bookly calendar? I don’t want it to do that, I rather it sit at the top.

I have installed the Bookly Plugin and the Multi-site Add-on. I have had no previously installations (“Lite” or otherwise), and yet I cannot save any staff members, services, etc. Please advise. I have a Friday deadline for this site and assumed basic functionality would work out of the box.

The calendar does not work. The only thing that I can do is step # 1 (service).

Please check if the services are linked to staff members, as Bookly is designed to work with staff members availability, is there’s no staff member to provide the service the no slots will be available for booking. Besides that please check the Visibility field for both staff members and services -> its need to be set to “public”, as in case it’s set to private then staff member and service won’t be available for booking.

Hi. I’ve set up my Google calendar and staff schedule but the booking form is showing time slots that are not available. How do I force the calendars to sync up?

In this case, you should make sure that you have time zone city settings set up correctly not only in Wordpress Settings but also in Google Calendar account. Also, you might want to disable the parameter “Display available time slots in client’s time zone” in Bookly Settings.

Hello, can you find a solution to add the cancel link in the appointment on google calendar? It is very embarrassing because if I delete the appointment without going through the cancellation link will make it remain saved in bookly and the date / time is no longer available .. so I have to consult each time my box Mail and find the confirmation email for this appointment or to connect to the administration of my site to find the appointment to delete it … I will only work with my google calendar on my ipad .. .
I beseech you find a solution for this … your module is super great but it just needs more!

I have a therapist client who is using Costco’s Elavon payment system. Their developers recommended we use Converge as the payment gateway.
I would like to purchase your booking plugin to set up her appointment bookings – but I needed to confirm it can integrate with Converge as the payment gateway?

Hi Yvette, thanks for the interest!
Currently this payment gateway is not supported. Though you could use the WooCommerce integration, and use the payment gateways that WooCommerce offers. If you enable this option, then customers will be redirected to a WooCommerce cart after the details step of the booking form, and payments from Bookly will be disabled.

Hello I have installed locally on a Surface tablet with xampp it is working well. The only strange problem is that on Customers DropDown menu when I use Chrome I cannot “scroll” with finger and cannot select with finger also. It needs keyboard Arrows and Hit Enter button. On IE scrolling and selection on dropdown menu its working well…the problem on IE is that when I try to scroll all page it opens appointment window…thats why we select Chrome. Any ideas how to fix this?

Hi,
I have a question before buying. Say on a certain day from 9am-10am, there are two spots available. If two clients have taken these two spots, will the time slot (9am-10am) be blacked out to prevent other clients from choosing it?
Also, will the plug-in be able to differentiate new and existing clients? For example, it will ask the new client to fill out info like insurance and store it in the system. But it will not ask the existing client to fill out this info since this info is supposed to be in the system already.

1. The time slot which is already booked – will not available for another booking. If you want to set group booking, you’ll need to set a bigger capacity for the service.

For the second point above, will the plug-in ask the patient to create an account before making an appointment if I have Bookly->Setting->Customers->Create WordPress user account for customers enabled? If so, can I customize the registration form to have the new patients to fill in insurance or other information when they sign up an account?

You can enable one setting: Create WordPress user account for customers. If this setting is enabled then Bookly will be creating WordPress user accounts for all new customers. If the user is logged in then the new customer will be associated with the existing user account.
Currently, there’s no option to create/set up such a condition for new patients/customers.

Bookly provides 2-way sync with Google Calendar. However, if you create or change an event in Google Calendar the related appointment is not created/updated in Bookly (the other way it does work). However, each event from Google Calendar is taken into account when displaying available time slots to the user in the second step of the booking process. So if you have an event in Google Calendar then the corresponding time slot will be not available for booking in Bookly.

You could create for each group of services a new category and then hide the category field from the booking form so only the relevant services will be displayed.

You can use a third party payment gateway with the WooCommerce integration. The purpose of this integration is to have access to other payment gateways that are not available in Bookly (but are supported by WooCommerce). So, if you enable this integration, customers will be redirected to a WooCommerce cart after the details step and payments from Bookly will be disabled.
