Hi!
When I clicked the SMS Notifications tab in the Bookly plugin menu, I only see a gray window. Theres no content.
If I click email notifications, I see the setting fine.
Is this behavior because I need to buy an SMS add-on?

Hello,
I’ve made some modifications to your plugin with WpKRAKEN and recently bought the license.

1) You can use the google calendar synchronization or create a private service that won’t be available for booking on front-end and block out the random time slots either by adding events in google calendar or create appointments with that private service.
2) Currently, this functionality is not supported.

You will need to create 14 staff members that will represent the booking tracks, as Bookly is designed to work with staff members availability. After that you will need to add more services with different duration and pricing.

1. Extract appointment-booking.zip from the downloaded archive. 2. Log in as admin to your WordPress website. 3. In Plugins, click Add New and Upload. Select the appointment-booking.zip file and click Install Now. 4. In your WordPress dashboard > Installed Plugins, activate the Bookly Appointments plugin.

Hi this is presale questions. Q1. Can the customer make the booking and the booking then get sent for admin approval (check availability) before client gets a confirmation. The confirmation means client can go back and pay a deposit only as the rest is paid at the day of the even in cash. Q2.Can email and SMS reminder be set to 1 week prior to event or booking? 1. In this case, you’ll need to set the pending status to be the default one, you’ll need to access the settings tab and set for this setting: Default appointment status – Pending status. After this, you need to access settings -> customers -> and here you need to check if the combined notifications are disabled or enabled.
After you are done with settings you need to access the email notifications tab and enable the relevant email notifications. As you want to set default status to be Pending, this means that when an appointment will be booked if will be created a pending status, so the email notifications for pending status will be sent => so you’ll to enable the notifications for the pending status (the 2 first notifications).
After an appointment was booked it will have the pending status, in the case you want to approve it, you’ll have two options: open the appointment and click on the customer’s name, and on the pop-up you’ll be able to change the status of the appointment, or add a code in email notifications that will generate a unique to approve the appointment. So if you want to send email notifications after you approve the appointment => you’ll need to enable the email notifications for the approved status.
When an appointment is booked on the front-end, email notifications will be automatically sent, though if you’ll create an appointment in the back-end, you’ll need to choose one of these values for the send notification field: if status changed or to all customers, otherwise notifications won’t be sent.
1.2. In order to have the feature of deposit payments, you’ll need the Deposit Payments Add-on. The add-on allows divide payment into 2 installments: a portion of the price paid online during booking, with the rest to be paid offline when the client arrives for their appointment.

2. There is no possibility to send SMS/email notifications before booking. Though you can configure the timing of notifications which are sent to all clients before the upcoming appointment and/or on the day of the appointment. Enable or disable each type of reminder and set the time you want it to be sent.

The purpose of the WooCommerce integration is to have access to other payment gateways that are not available in Bookly (but are supported by WooCommerce). So, if you enable this integration, customers will be redirected to a WooCommerce cart after the details step and payments from Bookly will be disabled. To set this integration, you’ll need a product that will serve as a “bridge” between Bookly and WooCommerce. Though even if you use this integration, you’ll sell services from Bookly and not WooCommerce products.

Hi! I bought your plugin, and i’m happy with it. BUT, there is something that is “missing” for me (and all my clients and staff members), and that make our back office really hard… As you know, we can’t actually have a good “time” for our staff members that are all around the world (different timezones)., and this is really a “frustrating” thing with your plugin. They all have to always change request hours MANUALY to know at what time they have a booking… And they get lost. It’s really like a “pain in the ass”, for all of them.
There is an addon that will save the life of our staff members (and I think this is something you can do fast, because it’s already exist on the main plugin, but only for administrator). We can, as admin, export all the booking request in a CSV file. But there is no options at all to simply export the booking list for the staff members on their own profiles, and it will be a very good addon to make their life easy! Because they only have a “calendar” in a web format, that it is not so a good option to manage many bookings…. More : if staff members can export they booking requests, filtered by : – status (only approved ones, because they don’t need the others) – by client name (because there is a table for) – by service (because also there is a table for) so then, they can have a very good view in Excel and print it for them!
Also! We are many to complain about the hours that are not ok for the timezones of our staff members. They ALL have the same Timezone of the wordpress installation (Paris in our case) and so then, they all see wrong hours for their bookings in their emails, as in their own profiles…. Hard for them! If we have the export function working for EACH one of our staff member, so then, you can just add a simple formula (like a listing of choice of all timezone) and do a simple formula at the excel export to change the hours of all booking requests to the good ones, previoulsy selected by the staff member in concern. (so no hard caclulation by the system, just a formula that “fit” the choice of the staff member).
And believe me, if you have this “function” with this addon, so then, it will save many “lifes”
We will have a good behavior for our staff members, without trying to calculates the timezones inside wordpress and the plugin. Add a little “print button” as it is on admin side, and they will smile all the day! They will have a full list of their booking, with proper hours, and they will just take a coffee and wait for the next booking, without any stress as today 
I hope that you find this “idea” very interesting, and that you will do this addon (that i think it is not so hard to do, because you already have the export function. You just need to set the ID to find the good staff member for the export on each back-office staff member page, and export only requests about them).
Like this, your plugin will really “rock” (and I think that you will get more and many sales).
Let me know please if it’s possible and if you can do it (same if it’s as a “special request / custom request”). I need it very urgently! So i’m able too. I really tried everythings to figure this out. And I think this is a simple and good solution to have what you want (for us, as for many of your clients).

Hi, yeah I know you are overloaded in these times, we saw it. It was more a “message” to give you a good idea to add to your plugin, that is really missing that part for a better behavior.It was more to give you a good idea to improve your plugin. I will maybe contact your partner, but I think we will try at the end to do it by ourself. We just need to know where is the file with the SQL code to export datas for the Bookly tables for the “Export as csv” button on the consultations lists / back office.
Could you provide it please, as an information about your bookly plugin (so then “support”)? Thanks a lot!

Hi…on the ‘Payments’ section is it possible to edit the text, I would need to change ‘I will pay locally’ to something along the lines of ‘Please invoice me’
Also, I am confused as to what Paypal functionality there is in the core plugin if any. The marketing suggests payments can be made via paypal but there is a paypal addon. What does the addon bring to the core plugin that is not already there?

1. You can change the wording of the line “I will pay locally” in the Appearance tab.
2. Bookly PayPal Payments Standard Add-on allows accepting credit card payments along with online payment systems without having to set up a separate payment system. Clients can choose to pay via their PayPal account or by entering credit card details, no PayPal account necessary.

Step 1: Choosing a service; Step 2: Date/time slot; Step 3: Customer Details; Step 4: Payment;
Offers should be provided within services step, or also you can try Service Extra aa-on which allows you to offer extra services, goods, or options to tweak the service (e.g. with more special and/or more expensive tools).
An extra purchased by a customer may affect the price and the length of the appointment, but cannot be provided separately from the main appointment booked by the customer.

Congratulations for the plug-in, it’s awesome!
After a successful configuration, I found a problem: the confirmation email is not sent to the costumer after a reservation has been made.
In the settings, the option “Notification to customer about approved appointment” is checked, so the confirmation emails should be sent. The email is sent from the “Test Email Notifications”, but NOT through the reservation procedure from the website.
Could you help me to solve this issue?
