Hello, how can I order the way the services are shown? It just seems like it goes random. I add everything in the way that it should look like but it just mixes things, not even in alphabetical order.

Hi

I was wondering if it was possible to set Bookly access to other users apart from Administrators please? We have a number of administration staff that it would be useful for them to be able to approve and manage our staff calendar, however ideally we do not want to grant them administrator access. Is it possible to make Bookly appear to an Editor for example please?

You can choose a role (level of access) for each new account:

Subscriber – doesn’t see actual data values in any of the dashboard sections; Contributor, Author, or Editor – can only view and edit appointments in calendar and list that belong to the staff member associated with that WordPress user. Can also edit their own personal info as a staff member; Admin – full access.

Thanks, but it seems to only allow one user per staff member. So it is not possible to allow one administrator access over all of the calendars without making them a wordpress administrator?

Just bought the plugin and set everything up. But when I go to the page where I added the shortcode of the bookly calender nothing shows up in the services drop down. I have already created services.

Please check if the services are linked to staff members, as Bookly is designed to work with staff members availability, is there’s no staff member to provide the service the no slots will be available for booking. Besides that please check the Visibility field for both staff members and services -> its need to be set to “public”, as in case it’s set to private then staff member and service won’t be available for booking.

Is there possibile to hide past time in bookly form availed list of time slot?

how to set default value for the employee?

Hi,

Please access the appearance menu and check if this option is not enabled: make selecting employee required. The default value can be set after you click “Add Bookly booking form”, then choose a staff member from the employee list and then click the “Insert” button.

Hello! When I install Bookly in WordPress, and the active, it shows me the following message:

Hello and thank you in advance for your work and support.

I’m testing your plugin on a party room for rent site. I need to create 3 services for the same room based on the number of people assisting to the event. For example, if you are inviting 200 people you will have an small part of the room, if you have 200 or 300 you can have another small part and if you are planning to invite 700 you can rent the whole room. This options needs to cancel each other if they are reserved on the same date if you unbderstand me, you can’t rent the part of the room if the whole is already rented. Is there any way i can achieve this with your plugin?

You can use the option of Capacity (min and max) so if you set the capacity for a service for more than one customer, then more persons will be able to book the same service for the same time slot and the price will be multiplied by the number of persons that booked the appointment.

I understand the customer capacity option for a service, what i’m looking for is a way to have conditions based on the volume of people invited to an event. If somebody rents the room for a 700 guests event i can’t rent the same room to another person (service is full), but if the room is rented for 200 guests i can divide the room to host 3 events of 200 people (for that period the option for 700 guests needs to be deactivated then). Is there any way to achieve this?

Hi!

Unfortunately, currently, such functionality is not supported. Though you can create different services with different capacity and link the same employee to two of your services, where the service with the capacity of 700 will be as well. Then when one of the services with the capacity of 200 will be booked then the same time slot will not be available for the booking for the service with the capacity 700.

Hello, I have some doubts that I need you to respond before buying the plugin. The idea is to use this plugin for an event and just book a few meetings on a particular day.

1- Is it possible to set a default date and can not be modified? 2- From the staff frontend (the add-on) can I download the list of appointments? 3- The event is free. Can I remove the payment selection step?

1. Sorry, but the question is a bit unclear to me. Could you please provide more information regarding your inquiry?

2. You can export the list of appointments to CSV only from the back end.

3. You can hide the payment step by disabling all payments methods in the Settings tab.

I have purchased the Bookly plugin already a while ago butonly now start using it. De Extra add-on doesn’t work with me. When I add extra’s and I save them, they actually don’t get saved and when I look for them again they are not there anymore.

I have multiple Staff Members. I want each Staff member to manage appointments on their Google Calenders. Is this possible with this plugin to connect multiple Google Calenders?

Hi!

With Google Calendar synchronization enabled, you will be able to set up the synchronization of individual team members’ calendars from Bookly to their Google calendars.

Please, note that Bookly provides 2-way sync with Google Calendar. However, if you create or change an event in Google Calendar the related appointment is not created/updated in Bookly (the other way it does work). However, each event from Google Calendar is taken into account when displaying available time slots to the user in the second step of the booking process. So if you have an event in Google Calendar then the corresponding time slot will be not available for booking in Bookly.

1. In this case, you’ll need Recurring Appointments add-on. Clients can now book a series of recurring appointments in one session: choose repetition interval and number of recurrences or last date, and a series of time slots will be booked.

Recurring bookings can be made by clients at the front end or by admin via backend.

Looking to recommend this to one of our client but want to know if this demo http://demo3.booking-wp-plugin.com/demo/ can be slightly altered to have the calendar view.

Will the time slot be removed from the list of available hours if someone books? Or a user will see same time slot available for booking all the time (it may result in duplicate booking at same time).

If you are referring to the booking form to start from the second step like in this demo: http://consultant-demo.booking-wp-plugin.com/demo/, then you’ll need to update the shortcode of the booking form and set a default service, then hide all fields. Please check this guide for more details: https://support.booking-wp-plugin.com/hc/en-us/articles/212800185-Publish-Booking-Form. As you want to hide the first step of the booking form you need to choose a service and click all check boxes to hide all fields.

2. Yes, if the time slot is already booked, it will not available for booking by another customer.

One last question: Will a user be able to process refund (If paid using PayPal) by hitting a simple refund button or refund need to be done manually from PayPal website?

Unfortunately, currently, the option of refund is not supported. You’ll need to process the refund for your customers manually from payment method’s web site or locally at your office.

Hi,

I’ve tried to make a booking system for our activities by Bookly. There are services available on year around, and on summer and on winter time. I’ve used staff member as a season like summer ja winter. Period per day for booking is from 8 am to 9 pm every day. Why I cannot make bookings in this time period? What are the settings I need to make?

You can change working hours of staff for just those special days in a year with the Special Days add-on. Set a custom schedule, including breaks – different from default working hours for individual staff members.

Hi Annika,

Please check the visibility field for staff members, it needs to be set to “public”. In case it’s set to “private” then the staff members won’t be available for booking and you need to change it to “public”.
