Go to the Woocommerce -> Gift Manager -> Email Template Tab -> Manage Template Section
Here you will find “Enable Browse Image for Gift Card” checkbox, Please uncheck this box to turn off the “Upload Image”.

Please clear your point about “artwork” for the PDF.
Currently it is temporary to hide the sidebar but will provide the option to hide it permanently in our upcoming release and we have included this in our plugin just to notify our customers about new release as it would help them if they are in search of something like we released.

So, if the customer bought the Coupon he get another shipping-cost than the normal flat-rate. I want to sell the coupon for Price + 2,50EUR, but the actual flatrate is 4,50 (and cannot be changed because of the other (main)product-type)

Hi, The next issue is with the translation. I created a file for Hungarian translation but many strings are missing. I’d only need to translate the frontend strings but most of them cannnot be found in the editor (Loco Translate). I also do not find where I can edit the gift card templates. Please advise. Downloadable gift vouchers are a must for us, but I can’t find any details how guest customers can either email or download a gift voucher. Or is the downloadable gift voucher attached as a pdf in the email sent to the buyer or receiver?

For now, In this feature buyer will receive an email of Giftcard Template(but not in pdf format) after successfully purchasing of GiftCard Products for their loved once, and then buyer can take print and can send anywhere they want.

Thank you for the quick reply. I tried to test but it’s limited and unable to send emails. May I sketch the situation I would like to test?
We want to use this plugin for a restaurant. Users can fill-in the amount they want to buy. The card then will be send by Email or even possible to print-out. After, as restaurant keeper it should be possible to verify the giftcard to see that it’s valid and not changed in anyway as they will show this when they visit the restaurant. I’m guessing this is the QR- or Barcode but I can’t really test this in the demo (or I can’t find how).
I hope you can give me a clear answer on this. I might be totally wrong about the usage of this plugin.

Actually We dont have any setup for sending Emails From Demo site for now, But Mail functionality is working fine, If you still want to test for emails then let us know we will provide any other solution for you.
About your scenario:- Actually the coupon code which will be generated after successfully purchasing of any Giftcard product, should must be applied on cart page only, because only from there the usage of coupon code can be handle smoothly (like how much amount has been left, limitation of coupon etc).

Hi, I have a question. I enabled the Downloadable Gift Card for buyer, so now the Gift Card is sent to the buyer and they can fill in a name instead of an email. Where can the buyer download the Gift Card after they bought it? I cannot find any downloads in ‘my-account’. Actually for now we have already pushed our next version 2.0.0, we will provide this feature in our up coming version 2.0.1, In which if any logged in customer will purchase a giftcard product with downloadable option then we will provide a link on “My account” page from where they can download their Giftcard. Also we will attached a pdf of giftcard template with Buyer’s Mail also.
For current version buyer can take print the gift card from mail.

Oké, thanks. That’s great to hear. Now I have another issue. I see there is a conflict with woocommerce (I think). Because when the Gift Card plugin is activated and I add a product in my cart, in the cart-page the price is set exclusive tax, the total price is inlcusive tax. (In woocommerce the price settings are alle inclusive tax) And when I change the quantity, both prices chance instead of only the total price. When the Gift Card plugin is not activated, the price on the cart-page is just the productprice incl. tax. (the way like it should be). Is there a way to solve this issue, because it’s a bit confusing for customers. Thanks, Sophia

I’ve purchased your plugin for my e-commerce store. The idea was to have both my gift sets and gift cards in one product category, so it cannot be called gift cards (I called it Make A Gift). Also, your plugin creates an unfriendly slug for the category.
Does this plugin need to create its own category? Can that be removed?
I love the plugin overall, this is the only thing that makes it difficult to use.

Yes you can remove the category by clicking on “Disable Category” checkbox which we have provided in General Setting Tab, Just click on that now you are able to assign any category to our giftcard product.
