Interested in the product, what are the basic requirement on the server (I do use Linux server )
Thanks for your interest in Smart School. To installing Smart School, Your web server must be running PHP 5.3.1 or higher, and Mysql 5 or higher. We have tested it with Windows, Mac and Linux. Below are a list of items you should ensure your host can comply with.
1. PHP 5.3+
2. MYSQL 5.1+
3. mod_rewrite Apache
4. Mcrypt Extension
5. MBString Extension
6. MYSQLi Extension
7. Zip Extension
8. CURL Extension (recommended)
In most hosting accounts, these extensions are enabled by default. So you don’t have to worry too much about server requirements. If thee is any issue during installation we will handle it in our support.

Which os, browser version you are using, we think its mime issue for particular browser version. We have to check that particular version.
Is there a way to create exams or is the exam module mainly to register offline work?
Thanks for your interest in Smart School. Sorry but we didn’t understand what you are asking exactly. Are you asking for online exams? Smart School does not have online exams module, it has examination module in which you can add exams and enter your marks of student for the manually taken exams in class rooms and prepare their results. If you still have any doubts using Smart School feel free to ask.

Is what you would add in your updates a modulie link to the medical history of the student, details about his doctor, dentist, contact person in case of emergency? Also think of putting a module of management of the personnel of the school with possibility of payroll I’m in Kinshasa, Congo

Also we will add custom fields in Student, Parent and Teacher profile so Admin can add or remove profile fields. Soon we will add payroll or HR module for personnel.

How can we add the discount for a particular student while fee invoice creation? How can i add a special fee(Music Class/ Drawing Class, etc) for a particular students or group of students in different class? ( Not all students in a class will join for Special Class like – Music, drawing etc)
Even though i am not a developer, i feel we could make use of the “Students Category”. Lets make it like we create multiple categories like General, OBC, ect and also e can include new category “Music Class, Drawing Class”. In Student Admission and Edit option we should have option to choose multiple check box instead of single drop down list.
Later in the Fee Master, we should have option to select ” Class or Student Category or Student” for the creation of fees.
Also give us option to edit the independent student invoice from each students fee list which is ‘unpaid”
I am sorry if i bothered you. I am willing to buy the script if the fee management is improved. I couldn’t find any better school management script than yours in envato market. i will definitely buy script soon.

Minimum percentage (75%) threshold. Your described feature and many more improvements will be added in may-june update release.

How do we add transport fee in fee invoice. Also some students may be having own vehicles, we may need to exclude those students.
It is better to include a check box for the student admission form ” Transport Required or not “
Then in Fee Master when we add Fees, it should add transport fee for those “Required Transport” and exclude others.
Please check your current download does not have install folder or install file. after uploading when you enter the directory/install it will tell file not found. Please I need your response I ave sent ticket already

There is an issue when entering data to student admission . Under category student admission > section drop down menu . System fails to respond from the data bank which i already entered under Academic >Class .

You need to add Section in Class then Sections will be populated when you select a Class on other pages. Go to Academics > Class click on + sign button under Class List action column. For better understanding please refer documentation https://smart-school.in/docs/#!/academics .

what am i doing wrong? i followed all the online steps…installed script, entered database instructions, deleted install directory, now when it takes me to login, i enter the credentials but it stays on the login page??

No it does not calculate monthly fees automatically, for collecting fees is totally depend on fees collection operator, he will take fees in advance charge fine etc.
