We would like to charge for the third appointment and allow the first two appointment registrations for free. I realize that isn’t a feature currently available, but can we we write custom code to apply the adjustment. If so, do you have any documentation regarding how we can integrate our custom code? In other words, does the plugin have hooks that we can use or another means to apply the adjustment? If so, is there any documentation we can reference?

Hi, I’ve bought the plugin and want to setup the SMS notifications but there is a blank page. There is noting except the subscription to the bookly newsletter and this box has no style (compare to the email notifications page). Thanks for your help.

It is necessary to register in order to start using this service. After registration you will need to configure notification messages and top up your balance in order to start sending SMS.

Hi guys,

The Google Calendar 2 way sync is a nice feature and it works well with the frontend form. However, strangely, the bookly’s admin panel calendar does not show the GC events occupied time slots (the frontend form does) which makes it impossible for staff members to create appointments via the admin panel without overlapping their own GC events.

This is a crucial non user friendly issue, specially for businesses that receive phone and face-to-face appointments (added by staff via backend).

My suggestion is to change the bookly’s calendar background color of the occupied time slots sent by GC (like the off schedule hours gray background color) and to strikethrough the dates/hours when adding a new appointment via backend.

Any thoughts about this?

Hi,

Currently this feature works this way, it’s purpose is not to move the whole management part from Bookly to Google Calendar but to block time slots. Though thanks for the feedback, we’ll take into account for future implementations.

It’s about blocking (or change color of) time slots in the staff’s bookly calendar in wordpress admin area.

Is it possible top apply bookly on woocommerce in many product with only one calendar ?

The purpose of the WooCommerce integration is to have access to other payment gateways that are not available in Bookly (but are supported by WooCommerce). So if you’ll enable this integration customers will be redirected to a WooCommerce cart after the details step and payments from Bookly will be disabled. To set this integration you’ll need a “fake” product that will serve as a “bridge” between Bookly and WooCommerce. Though even if you’ll use this integration you’ll sell services from Bookly and not WooCommerce products.

I have purchased this for another website – which is for appointment bookings. Working very well and I’d really like to use this same interface for another business. The business will be renting bicycles. They will want to be able to rent for two hour timeframes, half day timeframes, or full day timeframes. In addition, they will have about six different types of rentals with potentially 10 of each that could be booked simultaneously. I figure that in the plugin, I can change “Service” to “Rental Type” and put in each of those six. But the biggest question is how it is possible that any of those six could be booked for different durations. Is that a capability? With the other site I’ve done, each ‘service’ specifically had to have a duration interval so it would show up under the Time tab.

Currently Bookly is not much suited for rental business. Bookly is designed to work with the time slots and the duration of a service is fixed, so there’s no option to choose the duration when you book an appointment.

I’m using Polylang plugin Guys (200,000+ active instalations). Is there a possibilty to create second appearance menu for different language? That would do the work.

Hi,

Tools like Polylang, Poedit and others are good for translations. Though if you want to have a multi-language website you’ll need the WPML plugin. Polylang and other plugins don’t have the option to translate dynamic variables, so you won’t be able to have multi language versions for the booking form and email notifications.

Greetings Bookly!

We seem to be having an issue with our implementation of your wonderful plugin. When setting the price for a particular service to 59.40, which is including the applicable taxes, the service is charged for 59.21 when someone places an order. I notice now that when entering a price, one must choose between valid numbers (in our case either 59 or 60), but is this crucial? Is this affecting the change in price on the back end?

Oops! I figured it out. It looks like the price was set differently on the staff member page, and once I changed the price on the services page, I was prompted to make the change sitewide – which fixed the problem. Thank you!

I want to set special opening days in holiday for all the services. (not hours by stuff) For exemple, I am usually open on monday from 8 to 12. but on holiday, on monday I am open for 7 to 12. This opening hours should apply to all the services. How can I do that ?

Hi I’m interested in your plugin. Can I create Time schedule by own self ? Example : Mr.A available only Mon and Sat at 10.00 – 11.00 and 15.00 – 16.00 Mr.B available all days If select Mr.A did the Time will show only 10.00 – 11.00 and 15.00-16.00 ?

If Mr.B has the same schedule as Mr. A, but Mr. A is available only on Mon and Sat, then for these days you’ll have two staff members that will be available for booking.

Currently you can book more time slots by using the built-in cart, so customers will be able to add more time slots to the cart before proceeding to the payment step.

google calendar sync bugs(?) - google calendar would not update when adding appointment manually in “Appointments-> new appointment” - new appointment book the time slots with the previous occupied(delete or cancel) will not be sync.

Hi, Our client is an Psychiatrist located in Germany and want to bye your plugin Bookly Booking for his оnline consultations. The question is If a patient located in United States book for online consultation at 13:00, will the patient’s time zone automatically be converted into the psychiatrist’s time zone? For example: If patient located at New York / USA book for 13:00 automatically to show on the psychiatrist 19:00 Germany/ Berlin time.

If you’ll enable this setting: Display available time slots in client’s time zone, then the displayed time slots will be converted to the time zone where customer is located. Your example is correct.
