Hey, I’m using Bookly on this page: ditteyoung.dk, but sadly we’re experiencing problems with the plugin, and it often doesn’t seem to work – and in Safari and Firefox not at all.
Hope you can help!
Regards, Charlotte
Hi Charlotte,
Please check if you don’t have any caching plugins as Bookly is not compatible with this type of plugins. I would advise to disable them and see if the behavior persists. If that’s not the case then send us an email to support@ladela.com with this inquiry and the purchase code so we could look into this matter.
Thanks!

Hi,
I am trying to design the Bookly form for a garage website.
The garage has the capacity to perform 3 services at the same time.
The only thing I seem to be able to do in the Plugin is change the capacity so that I can perform more than one of the same service.
I need to be able to book 3 of any of the services not just individual services.
Is this possible?
Hi,
For this scenario you’ll need to create 3 staff members and link them to all services.
Thanks!

Hi,
Once I create 3 staff members for each service, surely it means that each service can be booked for 3 times. If I have 3 different services, this will surely mean that 9 bookings can be made?
I would like to make it so that a maximum of 3 bookings can be made at one time but for any service?
How would I do this?
Kind Regards
Hi,
If the capacity option is set for one customer for all services then customers will have the possibility to book three services for the same time slot (max).
Thanks!

Pre sale question.
I want to use this plugin for the hall reservation which only includes the type of all reservation no employees and service as dropdown we can hide those.
2. is there way like once the reservation approves then the system ask for the payment like the payment link can be sent via email.
Hi, thanks for interest!
1) You can hide fields from the first step of the booking form, though you need to have a staff member to provide a service, as Bookly is designed to work staff members availability.
2) Currently such an option is not supported, customers can pay only when they book the appointment.
Thanks!

Hi!
On my website (www.beautysalondianne.nl) I use your plugin. I love the plugin! My only problem is that the confirmation emails won’t send to my clients, however, the test button wich is intergrated in the plugin does work and will sent the confirmation emails properly.
How is this possible and can it be fixed?? Like to hear from you soon!
Kind Regards,
Ramon Menting
Hi!
There could a lot of reasons why email notifications don’t work. Though let’s start with the settings, you’ll need to check the default status of the created appointments (settings tab) and look also if the combined notifications are enabled (settings -> customers). After that you need to access the email notifications tab and check if the relevant email notifications are enabled.
For example if the default status is “Approved” and combined notifications are disabled then: you need to enable the single notifications for the approved status.
Thanks!

Hi, thanks for respond. I have on: Settings -> General -> Default appointment status: Pending.
Settings -> Customers -> Combined notifications: Disabled.
Email Notifications: [Checked] Notification to costumer about pending appointment.
[Checked] Notification to costumer about approved appointment.
I’m trying to test notifications form Email Notifications -> Test Email Notifications Button and don’t work. Should I set up in some where SMPT server settings for an email account?
I need get this ready please.
Hi!
If you tried to send notifications by using the “test email notifications” tool and you didn’t receive any email, than it means that your website doesn’t email notifications at all, you should contact your hosting regarding this matter.

Could you tell me how works Bookly in order to know what i have to ask to hosting support team? Should I configurate WordPress notifications?
what means that my website don’t mail notifications? I need get this ready so please tell me what I suppose to do? You say that your plugin send mail notification, could you tell me how that works?
Hi!
Note that Bookly doesn’t send email messages by itself. It calls native Wordpress function called “wp_mail” with certain parameters (to, subject, message, additional headers) for this purpose. After that Wordpress passes it to your mail server and then it handles the message request and attempts to send it. If you have cases when the messages are delivered that means that Bookly does it’s job and passes those messages to the mail server. Then it handles the request and makes the decision whether to send the message or not. So you might look into your mail server setup. We would also recommend to try the plugin called WP Mail SMTP and configure your usual SMTP server info: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-mail-smtp/screenshots/Thanks!

Hello,
After a recent update of Bookly plugin I encountered a problem/conflict with other plugin – Beaver Builder Plugin – that works along with Bookly.
Unfortunately I am getting problems with saving edits or even opening a module editor which currently stalls EVERY TIME (keeps loading forever) I enter a Beaver Builder page creator and try to edit anything within any page. It turned out that apparently Bookly plugin that is installed on my Wordpress instance causes this problem, because when I uninstall it, Beaver Builder works great. Bookly is the only plugin that runs along with Beaver Builder on my Wordpress installation. I am using WordPress V4.7.3, Beaver Builder Plugin (Agency) V1.9.5.3, Beaver Builder Theme V1.5.4 and Bookly V13.2 Can you try to find a solution to this problem? Do you know what might be an issue?
Best regards.
Hi!
We don’t guarantee that the plugin works perfectly with all themes. But it works with most themes as you know. Please, contact the author of your theme so they could guide you through adjusting it to display Bookly correctly.

You didn’t solve my issue at all. After an update I also get the following error: “DataTables warning: table id=bookly-appointments-list – Ajax error. For more information about this error, please see http://datatables.net/tn/7" Please help me as soon as possible, otherwise I will rate your plugin for a 1 star and ask for a refund immediately.
I will try to update PHP version to 7.1 and I hope that everything will work fine since Bookly was working properly before on PHP 5.3. If there will still be problems I hope that you will help me out.

I saw that a request for Klarna was posted on here earlier, and would like to know if you are planning on adding Klarna-support as well. That is the Klarna payment gateway. They are planning on rolling out in the US and are present in several countries in Europe.
Klarna is the preferred gateway in Sweden, and there are people who are reluctant to use any other gateway.
Thank you in advance.
HI!
Currently this payment gateway is not supported. Though you could use the WooCommerce integration, and use the payment gateways that WooCommerce offers. If you’ll enable this option, then the customers will be redirected to a WooCommerce cart after the third step of the booking form, and payments from Bookly will be disabled.
Thanks!

Hi. My Clients purchased your product from his own account here. I can provide proof if you need. I have problem/bug which can’t solve.
I have two locations (add-on) and created also two staff members ( Staff 1 for Location 1, Staff 2 for Location 2). Staff members have services assigned for the specific location. So technically everything is fine. But on front-end, when I select Location 1 or 2, all staff members appear on dropdown. On your DEMO the only staff appear for specific location. Is this bug? Do you know how to fix it or do I need to reinstall whole app? Thanks
Hi!
You should make sure that you removed Bookly Lite files via FTP before installing a full version. Check if you also associated your staff members with services, disabled caching plugins and set all parameters correctly. If you are sure that everything is set properly but it still doesn’t work – please, send us an email to support@ladela.com with your purchase code, screenshots and additional details of the case. Also include the FTP and WP back-end access credentials so we could investigate and help you fix this.

Thanks for reply. I had to install bookly again. There were some bugs in database. It working fine now.
Question: Is it possible to sort providers alphabetically in All Services>Add Service>Providers (No staff selected) ? I used drag’n’drop in Staff Member section, but it seems does not have an effect here in services.
In your demo, providers also seems to be in random order.
Hi!
Currently such an option is not supported. Staff members will be seen in the sequence as they were added to the plugin.

Hi Kate, Is there a way to limit displaying of hours in calendar? So lets say, we have openint times set from 8am to 10pm. I would like these hours only do be displayed in caledar, not 24h, so we dont need to scroll all hours.
Hi, Would it possible to match displaying hours in calendar to our opening hours? We’re open from 8am to 10pm, but calendar displays 24h, so there is more scrolling in backend. Can you tell where to edit the code to change this?
Hi!
Currently Bookly Calendar shows all times from 00:00 to 23:30. But not available time slots (before or after business hours) are in grey color and couldn’t be booked.

Dear Kate, You’re now answering my quesiton. I want to hide hours from 00:00 to 08:00 and 22:00 to 23:30. This is for better user experience. We don’t want to have non-working hours to be visible for us. Would it possible to advice in which file to change it? BDW: Grey color also can be booked, so there is a bug.
Sorry, you’re NOT answering my question.
Hi,
The time slots on the front-end will be displayed according to the schedule that was set in the staff members tab. In the admin panel the whole day is displayed, currently there’s no option to hide the slots when the staff member doesn’t work.

Hi Kate, I have found another bug. We have Location Add-on installed. When a staff member add an appointment manualy in admin area, there is no option to select Location for the appointment. There is no column for Location as well. Because of this, customer will not get {location_name} within SMS. Without this, Bookly becomes useless for us.
Hi,
You can choose/set the location after you click on the customer’s name.

Pre-sale question. I’m using Appointkart right now, but it’s a little limited. I will be the only person someone will book. Does your plugin allow me to mark-out times in the day I’m not available? Currently, I have four times in a day that one can book me as a photographer… 9am, 11am, 1pm, 3pm. Does your plugin allow me to perhaps “turn off” the 9 & 11am time slot for any given day (for when I have personal errands to run). With Appontkart, I either have to mark out an entire day that I’m not available or, book “fake” bookings to block out those time slots. ~ Frank
Hi Frank, thanks for interest!
You could use the google calendar synchronization to block out these slots, or change the schedule for that day with the specials days add-on.
Thanks!

- I only intend to use the taxonomies categories and services (without the Employees). Is this possible?
- In my company we already have a service to send the sms notification. So, I want to use your plugin to send the sms but through my service. Is this easy to implement? I have programming experience and I already have the code to integrate with our service.
- I want to programmatically populate the category and service drop-downs. Is there any hook prepared for this purpose?
Hi, thanks for interest!
1) You can hide the employee field from the front-end, though you’ll need staff members as Bookly is designed to work with staff member’s availability.
2) This is really hard to say, as it depends on your experience and knowledge, though it’s not a trivial task, besides that you lose all your changes every time you update the plugin.
3) You can set a booking with predefined values by using this example: http://example.com/?loc_id=1&cat_id=1&service_id=1&staff_id=1 ; http://demo3.booking-wp-plugin.com/demo/?cat_id=2&service_id=4&staff_id=2 .
