I’m having the same issue as a few people above where the table doesn’t save. It’s not a table size issue as I had imported your table and it won’t save that either.
This is generally due to reaching your server limitations on the number of form fields per page. Please refer to this FAQ for how to increase this setting:
http://www.bolderelements.net/support/faq-question/is-there-a-limit-to-how-many-rows-my-table-can-have/I did that but it didn’t work
Have you verified that the server accepted it? You can do this by creating a php file with the phpinfo() function inside. Be sure to upload it specifically to the wp-admin folder as the settings can vary from folder to folder.
The instructions in the link I provided as general and apply to many servers but not all. Every hosting company can have their own rules and limitations, so it is best to check their knowledgebase as well to ensure you are doing it per their standards.
I don’t have time to mess with this. Please refund my order.
I am sorry it has been frustrating, but unfortunately I cannot do that. We do our best to stick to CodeCanyon’s refund policy to ensure equal treatment to all users. This cannot be considered a bug because there is nothing on our end that can be done to increase this. It is not just this plugin, many others similar to it run into the same issue. We have no way of getting around the server limits without the server admin increasing it themselves.
I would highly recommend sending your hosting company a message instead. In my experience, more times than not they will simply do it for you so you don’t have to mess around with it.
Hi Guys a quick pre sales question. Will I be able to set up the following with your plugin:
UK First Class – £4.99 UK Next day before 1pm – £9.99 Each additional item – £1.00
International Standard – £6.99 International Tracked (where available) – £11.99
Kind regards Hoey
It definitely sounds doable! With this plugin you can setup as many different options as needed based on location and a couple other conditions. The Bundle column would also help to easily setup a pricing model such as 9.99 for the first item, and 1.00 for each additional item.
Is it safe to assume the new version will come out this month?
Things are on track now so that is the current plan but with testing included likely the end of the month. With such a large user database the goal is to have as few bugs as possible when initially released.
That is great, Ill just wait to renew support. I love this plugin
Awesome, thank you! Hopefully 4.0 will give more reasons to love it
Hi,
Just a few questions before I make the purchase.
Would like to know if I am able to do the settings like so.
Shipping to only several countries of choice Having several different courier options, with Each courier option having express or regular shipping and With each of that comes a weight based rule on how much the shipping should cost. E.g
I can pick Malaysia or Indonesia,
Ship via GDex or FedEx.
Say I choose either one, they would list down Express/Regular shipping
Picking either express or regular would calculate the total shipping based on the weight rule.
Regards, Adrian
You may end up with a large table, but it would certainly be possible to setup all of these rules. I am not sure if you can get the exact end result you are looking for though. By default, WooCommerce only has one shipping select box, so it would show you 4 options, two for each of the methods available. If you want the customer to select their desired carrier and then be shown only the two options for that carrier, then this would require some customized coding.
Hello, I am having issues with the plugin settings: Single Class only/highest cost class are not applying. Currently when two items with different shipping classes are in the same cart, both class delivery options are showing. Can you advise as whether these settings should be working to solve this? Thanks
It sounds like you have a couple settings that need changing. Firstly, the Single Class settings only work under the Per Class condition. If you have multiple options showing up as you have described, then you likely have the Condition still set to Per Order.
In addition you will want to change the Identifier fields so that they match. This column tells the plugin which shipping option each row belongs to. If they are all different, then the customer won’t be able to see a rate when more than one class is in the cart. If you are only returning one option from this method, then you should only need one Identifier, used for every row in the table.
With these two changes everything should start working as needed.
Many thanks. Looks like that worked so far. Will apply to all products so that should have fixed.
Hi, I have a coupon enabled for free shipping over £25.00. However it doesn’t seem to work with table rate plus shipping – it overrules the coupon. Is there a workaround?
I think you may have the wrong plugin. There are several variations out there but this one is not ‘plus’. According to CodeCanyon you have also not purchased a license for this plugin.
Hi, you can make more than 100 kg the shipping costs $ 0.25 per kg?
If your product weights are entered in kg it would be possible. There is an option under the Miscellaneous section (of your Table Rate settings page) that rounds up your weight to the nearest whole number. Then in your table of rates, you can select the ‘w’ option under the Cost column to multiply the weight by the given price. So an example row for you would look like this:
Based On = Weight Min = 100 Max = * Cost = w0.25
Hello,
Before i buy this plugin, can this plugin do this kind of calculation?
First 2kg – RM30 2kg – 3kg – (+) RM15/kg >3kg – (+) RM10/kg
E.g. Parcel weight: Example 1: 2.8 kg, delivery fees = RM45 Example 2: 4.8 kg, delivery fees = RM55
Is that possible?
It may be possible now. It will certainly get easier with 4.0, but at the moment this is the only way to get something like what you are describing:
http://www.bolderelements.net/support/knowledgebase/base-weight-fee-incremental-charge/Hey there, is there a way of putting the table rate method above the the shipping zones method? I use the shipping zones shipping method for flat rate USPS Priority and the table rates for USPS First Class. Since First Class is the less expensive option I want it to be above the Priority flat rate option. Is that possible?
Unfortunately there is no way to sort legacy shipping methods (methods that do not use the new shipping zones) from the settings page. You can do so through code, however. The following tutorial has helped several others:
https://www.xadapter.com/code-snippet-rearrange-shipping-methods-cart-page/This plugin will be making the switch soon, but until then I hope this can help.
Hi, I bought this plugin but i don’t know why everytime i want to save changes it doesn’t. I tried to change php version, to higher up the execution time, max_input vars and many other stuff. I wanna add some rows to my table but i can’t. What should i do?
The only issue that I am aware of is large tables, you reach the max_input_vars limitation. However, increasing the value does not always take. I recommend using a php.ini file directly in the wp-admin folder, but not all servers are the same. I would recommend contacting your hosting provider, or setting up a phpinfo() file in the wp-admin folder to ensure that the setting is actually changed.
We know that some users have very long tables and this has definitely been taken into consideration for changes made in version 4.0. Hopefully this will just be a temporary issue for you until 4.0 is ready.

It looks like this is a duplicate message:
https://codecanyon.net/item/table-rate-shipping-for-woocommerce/3796656/comments?page=136&filter=all#comment_15714714Hi there, Is it possible to have 2x default prices for shipping (express and standard) also need a price for each based on if they order more or less than 4x products (so 4x base prices in total) - but for specific products in seperate classes add on an extra cost of say +$1 etc. We have about 10x different extra prices so adding in 4x lines + 4x lines of deleting rows doesn’t seem practical per class – is there any other way of doing this?
I’m afraid no, not simply at least, assuming I understood you correctly. The plugin is about creating a table of conditions and their given prices. I think the closest you could get is to use the Per Class condition. This would group items in the cart based on the shipping class so that you could setup different prices and rules based on which group they belong to.
From there you could price each item differently and based on how many the customer purchases. If you need a base price for each to be added to, you could try the Handling Fees table.
If this doesn’t help or if I misunderstood, please leave an example or something so I can better understand. Then perhaps I could give a better answer.
Hi. I bought this item some time ago and it has been working well. The shipping config has now changed and I need to make some adjustments.
I have the following setup: - shipping zones for the various postal codes in my country - table rates for each of the shipping zones using the weight per kg example you share on your website as we have a shipping scenario that is per kg above 10kg and this was the only way to get it to work. - volumetric pricing for larger items
All is working fine
Now I need to add an additional handling fee for every order to cover the cost of the packaging etc. This is a flat 12%.
How to integrate? - Do I add a second handling fee for each and every zone for 12%? - Do I add the 12% into the existing handling fee line for each zone IN ADDITION to the flat rate fee per zone? (use both fields?) - Do I add another line to the shipping table for each zone for a % rate? Will this be added to the other rates in the cart?
Please advise if this is possible.
Thanks Cat
Unfortunately only one handling fee per zone will be saved. However, you should be able to use both a flat fee and a percentage based fee in each row. There can only be one Cost per option at this time, so it wouldn’t be possible to simply add a new row there and have it combined.
If all else fails, you can try a code tutorial like this one: http://www.bolderelements.net/support/knowledgebase/add-6-surcharge-to-shipping/Hello,
I need to create prices based on weight and volume. It means that:
One product = 5 euros. Two productos = 8 euros. Three products = 10 euros.
Four products = 15 euros. Five products = 18 euros. Six products = 20 euros.
Seven products = 25 euros… and so on. This is because of the company that my customer hired. It can deliver maximum 3 products per package and the prices are set depending on the weight of each package.
Can I solve my problem with your plugin?
I am not entirely sure. You said they need to be based on weight and volume, but the example you listed here is based on quantity. The plugin would require you to choose one of those, with the exception of volumetric shipping. This feature allows you to calculate weight based on volume (using a simple math equation) and then uses either the physical weight or the volumetric weight, whichever number is higher.
Hi, A question before I buy this plugin. Is this plugin work with the new Shipping Zone of woocommerce ? Is it possible to set this plugin work with a Shipping Class ? I have 2 Shipping Class, one working with an integrated solution for Shipping boxes, and I need a plugin to use a special shipping for one Shipping Class. Is it possible ? (Sorry for English Terms – I Use a french version of Woocommerce, and I supposed it was the correct names in Englis…)
This plugin does not yet work with the new zones but it will be coming shortly when version 4.0 is completed. It could certainly work with just one class, you can set every rule to require only products in a certain class.
The only issue is that you would need two different methods working together when the customer orders from both classes. If you have not done so already, the only way to make this work in WC is to split the cart into two packages based on class. This ability is usually enabled through code, but I have a plugin that should be able to help in this case:
https://wordpress.org/plugins-wp/multiple-packages-for-woocommerce/I have the plugin set up, however none of the shipping methods I have set up are showing.
We planned on having a flat rate shipping method for our country (USA), and some tiered rates for our foreign customers ( zones ; which we have set up. )
We were trying to get up our simple USA zone set up: Flat-rate shipping at a set price – with free shipping available once the order total qualifies ( >= $125 ).
The rules look like they’re set up … but they’re not working. The prices don’t fill in when the shipping calculation is done in-cart.
So right now ; plugin is useless / non-functioning.
Made a support ticket in your system #1646 with a video recording of our admin area & settings.
I have just responded to your ticket through the support website. It looks like there is a misunderstanding of the purpose of shipping classes. I went into further details in the ticket response that I hope will be able to help you move forward with configuration.
Your help has been incredible & fast! Thank you very much!! We now have all of our global shipping rates working for 6 different shipping methods, and our domestic shipping rates working for 4 different shipping methods – including zones for all of them! Your plugin works great! Thanks so much!
Wonderful, I am glad I could help!
Hi , presales question. Our delivery has given us 2 options Express and Standard delivery, and Pickup from store or delivery to your door service foreach option. Shipping rates depend on weights with a weight-price table for example 0-0.5kg are 3.47e for express pickup from store , 4,08e for express delivery to door 2.71e standard pickup from store, 3.18e standard delivery to door. I have understood how to add this rates in your plugin. But all options mentioned above have a rule that packages above 20kilos are sent with an amount + kilos (fixed price/kilo). So for express pickup from store this rule is 15e + extra kilos* 0.35 , express dellivery to door is 17e + extra kilos* 0.41. Is there a way to add this configuration in your plugin ?
I believe it would be possible but at this time would require some extensive setup. There is a ‘Handling Fees’ table that would allow you to add a flat rate to a per kg row from the table of rates. The problem is that you have multiple options so you would need to setup different zones (so that each could have its own handling fee) as well as figure out the math for each one. So it would be possible but difficult. Version 4.0 will make this much easier, but it won’t be ready for a little while longer.
Hey
It is a great plugin. I uploaded the newest version, because we experienced problems while trying to save the data after applying new changes. But the new version has not solved the problem. when add new shipping rates, and click on the “save” button below, it does not save the data, but leavs a message on the screen: “Action failed. Please refresh the page and retry.”
could you help please? Thank you Martyna
we are working on this, and increased the number to 500,000. and I have just 170 rows. Still the same error message.
I would recommend adding a test phpinfo file to ensure that the changes go through. Some servers may simply ignore settings changes if they are done as they wanted (without letting you know).
https://mediatemple.net/community/products/dv/204643880/how-can-i-create-a-phpinfo.php-page(Be sure to place this file in the wp-admin folder, NOT the root directory as these could give different results)
You can also check with your hosting provider to ensure it was done as their servers prefer.
Hey
Thank you for your answer. I followed the steps and installed the phpinfo file.
Here is the part from the file, that refers to the data:
max_execution_time 300 300 max_file_uploads 20 20 max_input_nesting_level 64 64 max_input_time 300 300 max_input_vars 10000 10000 memory_limit 200M 200M
It looks like the data is set correctly. How can we remove the error and be able to update the settings?
Thank you
have a great day
M.
I’m afraid I do not know. I have never seen this error other than the max_input_vars being too low for the table. The message is WordPress generated when something goes wrong that it cannot figure out like a server error being sent.
It is located in the wp-admin folder, yes? Have you asked your hosting company for their advice? I can take a look if you wish, but I would need FTP access in order to do a proper debug. If you wish to do this, please open a ticket on the support site as these are more private:
http://www.bolderelements.net/support/tickets/new/My friend
yes, I placed it in wp-admin, and I also talked to the hosting company. They raised the max_input, plus the Max_input_time, plus max_execution_time
I will be grateful for your help. I will renew the support now, and purchase it
Thanks, Martyna
I have just renewed the support “Support extension until 16 Aug 2017 for Table Rate Shipping for WooCommerce
CodeCanyon / WordPress / eCommerce / WooCommerce / Shipping $15.75”
I have just sent the ticket following the link you gave me thanks
Hey, it is still not working….
I tried to add new settings, I really need to have it work, I cannot modify the shipping rates, anything, it just returns the error.
Please help..
Did you update the ticket? I was missing the dashboard credentials to be able to replicate the error and work though it.
Hey! Thank you for your message. I have just responded, sorry for my late reply.
Have a great day I appreciate your help M.
Because I know you are not getting emails from this site, I wanted to let you know that I updated your ticket today. I was not able to test it as I had hoped, I do not think I have permissions to make such changes, but hopefully the information I provided will help you to resolve the problem.
Table Rates ‘Hide/Collapse’ Tables list – Not working – Any ideas?
If you are referring to the settings sections on the Table Rate settings page, this is controlled by javascript. If anything installed on your website is throwing a JS error, no JS will be able to run. Try pressing F12 when you are viewing this page and check the Error Console.
Thanks….er…sort of… (Not really helpful.)
I’ll explain more clearly…
Yes, I’m talking about the settings page. The ‘Shipping Costs Tables’ section does not concertina / hide when the small black arrow is pressed.
The other sections concertina / hide as normal.
Why is this a problem for me? – - I have over 180 shipping rates rows, and plan to include many more. All of these must be scrolled past to get to the bottom section of this page.
Thanks!
On the demo site it won’t work (and yours too if you are previewing this version which I believe you are), this is part of the next update. I will see if it can be resolved without breaking the checkbox feature again, but in the meantime you can also just press the ‘End’ button on your keyboard and this will jump the page to the bottom instantly.
OK – Thanks…yes always the ‘End’ button.
FYI the version of plugin I’m using is: Version 3.6.6 (modified)
Yes, I remembered your username afterward. The modification is the issue. I had to move the tables outside of the collapsable container in order for the checkboxes to work. That is why your particular version does not have that ability.
Hi, this plugin seems to have stopped working on my clients site. It has been working fine for over a year, but now he cannot update the table rates. When you hit Save Changes, it displays an error:
Action failed. Please refresh the page and retry.
After refreshing and trying again, it just loops around again.
Tried on WooCommerce 2.5.5 and latest 2.6.14. Using latest version of Table Rate.
Is the table settings rather large? You may have maxed on input fields. You can definitely increase this server setting, though:
