Hello, have a few projects for client’s grocery stores, and have been looking for plugins . I know I will need the premium version because I’ll need the SKU search, but first I’ve been trying to use the free version to see if the plugin will fullfill their basic needs, but have been really struggling to use it. I have several questions, here it goes the 1st one: Once a customer selects a specific filter, the remaining widgets are updated and will only display the results related to the currently active filters? If the answer is yes, something is wrong with my instalation, because that is not happening. Thank you, F.

hi, i have reached recently regarding an issue i have with the installation with no response. Please advise because i have a deadline with the project: I did like you say uninstalled the free version, installed the full product and Ctrl+f5. I still can’t see more than 2 filering options like indicated in the start of the video tutorial.

Its is 100% cache, CTRL+R and clean browser cache. Also you can login from another browser and be sure that version of WOOF on the plugin settings starts from number 2!

You should activate “Hierarchy drop-down” http://www.woocommerce-filter.com/extencion/hierarchy-drop-down/ extension in tab Extensions, attach type ierarchy drop-down to taxonomies you want to use in first tab, and then drop shortcode [woof] (in usual text-widget for example) using attribute taxonomy there and tax_only http://www.woocommerce-filter.com/shortcode/woof/

In the page “Auto” i would like to have a Hierarchy drop down filter whit just these categories and related subcategories, but instead I find every category and subcategory (also categories “moto” 22, “ricambi scarico” 120)

I think you are trying to use WOOF in ajax mode and “Quick View” button functionality should be re-inited after seacrh done. WOOF provides such opportunity: fo to the plugin settings -> tab Advanced -> “JavaScript code after AJAX is done” drop there js script which should reinit quick view button, but which script ask on support of that plugin

Actually, it causes the conflict since the time I first installed the plugin. I think that it might not related to AJAX mode I tried to use either, because when I switch back to normal mode (I mean redirect), the quickview still broken. Do you have any suggestion on this?

Yes, it’s actually the Woocommerce Product filter plugin one that causes the conflict, but I really need this plugin on site and about to buy premium one.

AJAX mode doesn work on all wp themes and its not resolvable, what you can do it is use redirect mode only in this case

What you can do in this case:- create simple new page and drop there [woof_products] shortcode
- in WOOF widget drop link to that page “Redirect to”
In such way search results will be displayed on that page and users will be able to filter products
We just purchased the pro version and replaced the free one. Deactivated and deleted the free and then installed the premium. Using it as a widget n the sidebar but it won’t show up in the page: https://www.califloor.com/products/

We’ve been using the free version for a while and we plan to buy the premium. I updated my woocommerce a moment ago and as well as the plugin. Deal not in woocommerce or WOOF – your theme using js library for drop-downs because of this conflict of 2 libraries which doing the same work, so 2 ways – disable that js lib OR in WOOF disable chosen js lib in the plugin settings -> tab Design

So I have started using the paid version of your plugin on a site that we are developing, https://sodaandsand.com and was wondering about the following, when you click on the Men in the Navigation bar if there is a way in your plugin to make it not show the Women product_tag under the side bar filter menu. So it only shows the Product Brand which will take them to the men page of that product category? One of our team members purchased this plugin and it is a brilliant plugin but I am trying to get it to do that.

I’m having issues with the product filter adjusting an already filtered list.
Example: When I filter shirts for red and small, but then I adjust the filter from that list to show blue and small it just gives me both red and blue small shirts.
Is this a semantic issue or is there a setting I can choose to dynamically adjust the filter from the original category.

Looks like you need to filter items by meta data which is not in this plugin, BUT its possible to create custom taxonomy https://wordpress.org/plugins/custom-post-type-ui/ and create terms like: 5%, 10%, 15%, etc … and filter item using checkboxes

Hi, I have been testing the plugin and I like it a lot. However, I have a question about its behavior on mobile phone. If I click on built-in Woocommerce “soft by …” filter, the mobile phone opens a little window at the bottom of the screen with a scrolling list of options on that menu to choose from.
However, when I click on a drop-down field created with this plugin, it does not do that. Instead, there is an empty search line at the top of the dropdown options with a search icon. You can type things into it. Because of this, the phone brings up the keyboard from the bottom that covers half of the screen. So you cannot even see the full list in that dropdown field unless you exit out of the keyboard.
I saw this plugin in use on another site and when you click on their dropdowns, it did not have the “search” row at the top and so it did not bring up the keyboard. I can’t find anywhere whether that can be turned off. If it can, I will buy the premium version.

I am having a Very strange problem with Woof filters Free.
There are 5 products in the same category all with tags and same settings. However, only 2 out of 5 return in search ? These are virtual products only ! other simple downloadable products show but not virtual.
I tried removing the dropdown menu , tried removing the widget, tried ajax on and off in Woof settings, then clearing cache and putting it back but same issue always happens. I want to buy full version, but not if it behaves this way..
Any ideas ?
