Hi I have just purchase the plugin. Is it possible to set delivery options for the following: Free delivery for orders OVER £50 but UNDER 30kg in weight?
Sort of, the table is setup to only have one condition per row, but you can setup a deny rate to remove an option due to another condition. So two rows would be setup like this:
Title = Delivery Identifier = free-shipping Based On = Price Min = 50 Max = * Cost = $0.00
Title = Remove Free Shipping Identifier = free-shipping Based On = Weight Min = 30 Max = * Cost = D
(The ‘D’ in the Cost column is an option in the select box. You can leave the text input empty, it will not apply any price but “D”eny the original option because the weight is over 30kg. I hope this makes sense, but if you have any questions, do let me know!
Thats great thank you. The problem I have is I also offer delivery to places where I can’t offer free delivery such as Northern Ireland and the Scottish Highlands. Will what you suggest above cancel out the delivery for these areas also? I need to still charge delivery to these areas, so need these to still be charged even with orders over £50. Hope that makes sense
You could do that, or you could create separate zones, one for Northern Ireland and Scottish Highlands and one for every other part of the UK. Then setup different rules for each. I have seen many users do this type of setup using Postal Code zones.
Great. I have created separate zones for UK Mainland, Highlands & Islands, Isle Of Man & Northern Ireland. How would I make sure the free delivery over £50 but under 30kg isn’t applied to those zones, but is applied to the UK Mainland?
Well the rules are separate now so whatever you set to the UK Mainland would only apply to that zone. Although it depends on if you used the ‘Except’ field. I would recommend putting the postal codes from your other zones into the Mainland’s ‘Except’ field, this way none of its rules will apply to your other zones, including the deny rate.
Hi! I want to mix/match the shipping item types.
So Item A Cost $10 to ship, and additional item $5 more
Item B Costs $2 to ship and 2nd item $1 more.
Works fine if only Item A or Item B in cart.
But If you buy A and B I want it to cost $10 + $1. The highest 1st item cost, and then the ‘additional item’ cost for the smaller item.
Can I do that? It seems to be calculating $10 + $5 even though it’s one item A and one item B in the cart.
I’m afraid the plugin is not designed for a scenario like this. It will apply a table row to the order, a single item, or a single class, but each row is separate from the other. So it cannot combine the different cost rules like this.
Thanks for the quick reply!
Hi bolderelements, hope you’re well.
Pre-sale question, I was wondering if the plugin would allow the following cases:
Item A costs 1.50 to ship however if customer buys more than 4 of item A the shipping cost will change to 3.50 and more than 10 the shipping costs will change to X amount.
Item A costs 1.50, Item B costs 3.50 to ship, if a customer buys Item A and Item B the cost of the shipping should be 3.50
Thanks, much appreciated.
It sounds like this plugin will be able to help! You can use shipping classes to tell the plugin which items are in the cart, and then charge Per Class. By default, this means shipping for both items would be 1.50 + 3.50, but you can also select an option to charge only the highest priority class. Then, if you give Item B’s class a higher priority number, only the 3.50 price would be returned.
Hello,
when ever we try to save the table rate its not saving and giving us error :Action failed. Please refresh the page and retry.
i have increase max input var and memory as well a below : max_input_vars = 5000 suhosin.post.max_vars = 5000 suhosin.request.max_vars = 5000 post_max_size=50M upload_max_filesize=20M memory_limit=512M max_execution_time=900

Questions like this are generally best sent to your hosting provider. I do not know of any other reason that this message appears, so likely the new settings are not being taken. The most common reason for this happening is applying the changes to the root folder with a host server that does not duplicate the changes in sub-directories. In other words, be sure that these changes you made are placed in the ‘wp-admin’ folder and not the root folder of your WordPress install.
To verify that the changes are being made, upload a new PHP file to the wp-admin folder with this line of code:
<?php phpinfo(); ?>
Navigate your browser to this file and check the values for each of the settings you have changed.
https://codex.wordpress.org/Finding_Server_InfoWoocommerce uses “Everywhere” > “Regions” (Africa, Asia, Europe etc) >”Country” > “State”. I am sending from Italy, so need, Italy, Europe, rest of world as this is how the post service in Italy charges. Is there a “Europe” option which understands the countries listed under Europe?
I’m afraid there are no predefined regions in our zones. This will be an added benefit when the plugin switches to WooCommerce zones in about a month.
ok, thanks for explaining. meantime may i have a refund?
I’m sorry, but as per Envato’s refund policy we do not grant refunds if you change your mind once an item has been downloaded. Typically they are given for bugs or issues that cannot be fixed in a reasonable amount of time.
HI, I am sure someone already made this question, but I couldn’t find it. My question is:
I have product A, Vendor 1, State X and product B, Vendor 2, State Y
My customer want to buy product A and product B, but the origin is different and I just want to have the option of selecting a different zone when I am putting the product in the system.
Both products are from Brazil, but one is from São Paulo (State X) and the other is from Rio de Janeiro (State Y). If I have the option to put a different zip code in the zone and it is selected in the product, it is solved.
I don’t know if I made myself clear enough. I just want to be close as possible to the real shipping cost and I think using the exactly vendor zip code, it won’t be a problem.
Thanks!
I’m afraid there are no vendor specific settings with this plugin. The closest that other users have been able to get is with shipping classes. They create a class for each vendor (or location of vendor) and then setup a shipping cost for each shipping class and customer shipping zone. The plugin then can determine which costs to select based on the customer’s cart information.
Hi, do this plugin can show a conditional text to customer, something like a pop up text saying adding a product for 20$ or more to your cart to be eligible for free shipping???
I’m afraid it does not show anything further than the title. Descriptions will come in the next update, but it won’t be able to determine the exact amount the user has to spend before getting free shipping. You would have to say something like “Free shipping offered at %50”
Had an issue that others have experienced. I found the solution, so I thought I’d share it. If you get the following WooCommerce error:
Validation error: PayPal amounts do not match (gross XX.XX). Order status changed from Pending Payment to On Hold.
it is because you have shipping rules set up in PayPal.
So you need to go to Profile > Profile and Settings > My shipping preferences > Postage calculations (Update) and check Click here to allow transaction-based postage values to override the profile postage settings listed above (if profile settings are enabled).
rt.
Thank you for the information. I’ll be sure to add that as an FAQ possibility
With this plugin, can you have an “everywhere else” zone? For example, I would set up the countries I want to provide rates for, and then “everywhere else” either a different rate, or no rate at all. Is that possible?
It’s possible with a little extra setup. You can prioritize the zones so that rates from your ‘Everywhere’ zone are overwritten by other zones you’ve setup when applicable. It’ll get easier when we switch to the WC zones in version 4.0
Hello
I am looking for a plugin that is based on County and Quantity
So for UK charge £3 for 1 item or 2 items £4 USA £6 for 1 item 2 items £8
Can this plugin achieve this
Certainly! With table rate shipping, you simply create a new row for every scenario you have and specify the cost. The plugin will determine which row the customer qualifies for based on your criteria and their purchase.
Hello, my question is if is possible to change the shipping costs depending on the total amount spended. Example, if the total amount of the order is between 0-100€ the shipping cost is X, if the order is between 100-200€ the shipping is Y…kinda price bands or price range for the shipping. I hope u understand what I mean. Thanks a lot
Definitely! You just need to setup a row in the table for each possible price range and specify the associated cost. The plugin will then find the best match based on the customer’s pending purchase.
Hello, my shipping model is simple. I ship my items according to the weight and place of delivery of the item, ie if I have to ship a watch in a zone A, the price will not be the same as if I ship a refrigerator in The same zone A. The expeditions are done without tax and I myself define my zone of expedition. The idea here is to come up with this model http://hpics.li/fe7f3b1. Here’s how it looks naturally http://hpics.li/c8bfa7f, it’s not pretty if I have a lot of delivery area. I tried this plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/woo-shipping-display-mode/, but it’s not gone. Your plugin and super and really very complete, I need your help to achieve what I wish. Thank you
Please review my response to your same question posted on another comment:
https://codecanyon.net/item/table-rate-shipping-for-woocommerce/3796656/comments?page=132&filter=all#comment_15092284Hi, I have two rows in Shipping Table with same Title and Identifier but different class, it combines the shipping fees together which works exactly as expected.
But now I feel like to show the detail of shipping fee per class in the checkout and cart page, what should I do? Is there any option or hook I can use?
Ex : now an order has a product A (Class A, $50) and a product B (Class B, $100) shows a single row “Shipping fee : 150”, which is good, but I want it looks more precisely like.
Shipping fee A : 50 Shipping fee B : 100
subtotal : 150
Sure, as of WooCommerce 2.5 this is definitely possible! Generally the feature must be enabled by code, but I have a small plugin that can do this for you as well as separate it by class.
https://wordpress.org/plugins/multiple-packages-for-woocommerce/Hi, thanks for the fast solution provided, my customer and I LOVE your work so much not just the product but your service to the customer, we really feel like being fully supported, just saying good job to you.
However it seems that the multiple-package plugin is not compatible to wordpress 4.6.1+ / woocommerce 2.6.6+ anymore, have activated but not work fully functional, and it seems that the plugin out of supported (last update since 2 years ago on wp site).
Is there any possible for the others to keep working on multiple-package plugin as an opensource? Like on Github?
Thank you, I appreciate the kind words
Please note I have had some troubles with the SVN plugin so the version numbers are not correct in terms of what is compatible. I simply haven’t prioritized getting this to work, but it’s certainly something I need to do. It works up through WordPress 4.6, I have not yet tested 4.7 but I see no reason it wouldn’t. WooCommerce it should continue running, but it needs further settings to be more flexible with the new zones. I have had a couple users let me know they are experiencing problems, but none of them have elaborated further than that so I am at a loss as I have not run into an issue yet. Could you kindly clarify what is not working for you?
I can put it up on GitHub soon, but I had planned to do so after the next update as it is due to change quite a bit.
Hi, I uploaded some screenshots and move this topic to multiple package support page since my problem now has much to do with the plugin.
https://wordpress.org/support/topic/problem-with-table-rate-plugin/Hello, I would like to add a packaging weight per an order. I already checked your previous answer. but I have another question
where should i add below-mentioned codes? function.php of present theme?
function customize_per_order_weight_value( $order_weight, $package, $volumetric_divisor ) { // Enter package weight. For this example we are using grams $package_weight = 350;
return $order_weight + $package_weight;
} add_filter( ‘be_table_shipping_per_order_weight’, ‘customize_per_order_weight_value’, 10, 3 );
It is usually advised to put it into the functions.php file of a child theme so that future upgrades to your theme do not wiped out these changes. If you do not have a child theme active and would prefer not to do that, you can also use special plugins such as Code Snippets to manage the code from the dashboard:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/code-snippets/I just bought this item. How do I set the shipping cost for each individual item? I don’t want a flat rate as the shipping cost is very different by each item.
This plugin is based on a single table of rules, so there are no settings at the product level. The only way for the plugin to know exactly what items are in the cart are by shipping class. You can create a shipping class for each item or price point, and then assign the products to their specific classes. In the table of rates you would then specify the cost for each shipping class. The plugin will able to match up the costs to the products based on class.
Is it possible for the plugin to add shipping together. Example, They get 3×2kg items. We offer a 3kg & 5kg parcel. Have it charge 1×3kg + 1×5kg as the items could be sent this way. Or do I need to make a 8kg parcel and manually add these qty together? Currently I cant sell anything over 5kg as it says no frieght option available in your area. Thanks
I’m afraid there are no recursive rules yet, but it’s something I am hopeful to release in either 4.0 or 4.1. For now yes, the only way to make it work is to specify a row for each possible weight range with a different cost.
Hi, before I buy this Plugin I have some questions regarding the functionality of the Plugin.
Is it possible to set the shipping cost by the quantity of a Product variation?
For example: The shipping cost for each 2 Small T-shirts will cost 10€ and the shipping cost for each 1 Large T-shirt will cost 14€
Please let me know if this is possible with your Plugin.
Thanks in advance!
Definitely! The plugin does not have any product specific settings, but it can use shipping classes, and classes are assigned at the product and variation levels. So if all T-Shirts that you sold ship in this manner, you could create two shipping classes, Small and Large, assign them to each product appropriately, and then setup a cost for each class in your table of rates.
Thanks for the reply. Is it possible to associate a flat rate to specific sku / product with x qty?
Only if you use shipping classes. There are no product level settings.
Hey
I bought a few licences of this great plugin. I have one question:
The shop we use the plugin for, sells items that can weigh from half a kilo up to 20 kilograms. The point is, that a client can order several products that weigh 20 kilograms each, plus a few lighter ones.
Is there an option with the plugin settings, to avoid creating hundreds of tabel rates? for 20 kilograms for 40 kilograms for 60 kilograms?
is there an option to for example set one rate for 20 kilograms, and tell the program that if a client orders a multiplication of 20 kilograms the price would be a multiplication?
Thank you
Martyna
I’m afraid not yet, but version 4.0 definitely will! We have an expected release time of early next year (January / February).
Hi, Is it possible to set up shipping conditions by importing a table (xls or csv, for example)? Because we have a couple tables with shipping rates depending on weight and zip code from our shipping company. As prices are updated frequently (in general, each 3 months), it would take a considerable effort to set it up manually each time that prices change. So, can it be done by uploading a table, or perhaps by creating a sql command to insert rates directly into the database?
Definitely! There is a CSV import feature with an example file inside the full package download (i.e. the ZIP with the documentation). You can delete the rows in the table in just a few clicks, then upload your CSV file to import every time you need to update the prices efficiently.
