Hi, I have been using Perfex during the last months in my intranet and I want to congratulate you for the fantastic work developed. It is the best CRM I have tried and its functionality is incredible!!!.
From now on, I would already like to renew support service and deploy the platform over Internet so that my clients can use Customer Portal, but I have an important question about security of the platform….Is it really safe? How can we ensure that external users can not access to entire site when Customer Portal directories are into the same folder as the rest of the platform? Would not it be better to host such folders outside the PerfexCRM root folder?

All sensitive data is saved and encrypted in database.
The most upload folders are protected from direct access and where is not possible the folders are not protected. If someone don’t have the file link won’t be able to access it unless you share the link.

Bought this three days ago and am use now for customer projects. This is a gem of a system, took 20 minutes to install and maybe an hour to figure everything out and start using. Could not recommend stronger, this is good work.

You mentioned in one of your item comments that you host your demo on GoDaddy. It is in reliance on this information that I made the purchase. How are you able to host the demo on GoDaddy? Are you saying that PerfexCRM cannot work on GoDaddy’s shared hosting?

2. Currently LPO modules are not planned.

Great Job, i am using your CRM for my company and it really helps me a lot. Though i have a problem with the CONTRACTS section. They do not appear on the Income, they do not alert on Contract Expiry, generally speaking, they just exist and if you do not visit the contract page, you will forget to inform your clients on Contract Expiry date. I am using 1.3.0 version. Also, on the Contracts page, i have a contract expiring on Dec 18th, today, but on the Header it show Expiry Contracts 0.. Maybe you should check this page for some errors.

Yes they dont appear as income because if you want to appear as income you need to create invoice and record payment. There is only quick stats for contracts in the contracts list area.
Make sure u set the Contract expiration reminder to XX days to show up a notification before the contract expires.
This option is located in Setup->Settings -> Cron Job -> Contracts -> Contract expiration reminder (example 4 days).
Note that this feature requires cron job setup. You can read more here: Cron Job
About the expiry contracts on the contracts page when the contract end date is bigger (not equal like in your case) then current date when will be shown as expired.

I had a few questions and suggestions. 1. Would be awesome if you added a Slack integration within the system so team members could talk to each other. 2. How does the Dropbox integration work with the files? Are they stored on Dropbox and the system gets the shared link or it copies the file to the server? Also, would there be a way to create a Google Drive integration. Honestly, that sounds like a way better idea since 3. How secure the file management? Can people access the files without being logged in? 4. Would be awesome if the tasks you could make them SCRUM based to make more visually understandable of what needs to be done, currently beeing done, and what is already completed. 5. Would be awesome if you could the SCRUM system for the To-Do List as well. So we can track what is being currently worked on, already finished, and what still needs to be done. 6. Is there a way to disable the system so clients can’t create additional accounts only we can. 7. Would be awesome to add a feature so we can connect a calendar so clients could set up appointments through the system as well.
8. An integration to have in-browser notifications so we wouldn’t have to manually check .

1. Not planned anytime soon.
2. The system only gets the link and they are not stored in the server. Google Drive wont be available soon.
3. Depends on the files.
For invoices,customers,tasks,contracts,proposals,estimates,expenses,leads,tickets is not possible to access directly. If noone knows your link wont be able to get your file.
4. Currently Tasks section runs very good and its visually understandable.
5. Todo list its a personal todolist just for the logged member.
6. Check Setup->Settings->Customers on the demo there is option to disable registration.
7. There is calendar available to clients but appointments is not a feature.

That’s a multipage report. I just need a simple page called Income Statement. It just totals all of the payments received by category minus expenses to give the Net and Gross income. I know this wasn’t an issue last year since you released the CRM in December, but this year it will be an issue for some people like me who have to turn it in to our accountants, etc.

There is no such a feature in the CRM.
Perfex CRM is not accounting software and just gives you a quick view with simple reports to have an overview.
