I feel like there is always something wrong going on. I haven’t been able to sync the Calendar at all with our Google, already followed your steps multiple time and it just doesn’t work. Same with the emails. How can I get support maybe via Skype?

For the SMTP settings the best is to consult with your hosting provider to give you the correct informations.

I have 2000 Leads. I want to email them and begin a conversation; but in my email client; but in a CRM. And then have the ability to make internal notes also to my team. Is that possible with your system?

Ok so I send the email through the note section? And when they reply, where does their reply go and how are attachments handled for sending and receiving?

You cant send them directly email from the CRM and act as email client. The note section is just for internal use for staff members.

You can auto import leads from email read more on the following link: https://www.perfexcrm.com/knowledgebase/setup-leads-email-integration/ but as i said before you cant send directly to them.

Ok – my error. It would add so much value if there was a mail module. You know that as much as anyone else. The pure power of getting an email and even if it would show a notification that the send is a contact or a lead or something would add value.. you need to consider. Your system is the best thus far and this is only item that would be of added value. I have 2000 leads and for me to manually copy and paste into the system will be a nightmare.

This is just a notice from the plugin of depreciation function, this not cause the problem. I think that there is some unescaped characters in your language and cause javascript error.

Number of client & disable some functions

I have 2 questions ;)

1 – Client Reference :

Is there a way to make a lead/client reference and make it as primary id ?

I explain it :

My organization have this fields :

Number of client : CLT-161210001 Society : BIG APPLE Address…

In the Perfex, I can’t have this Number of Client… Or I don’t see this. How can I assign a unique number of client / prospect in each reference ?

I have several society with the same society name… So I would like to give to each one a unique reference like CLT-161210001, CLT-161210002…

Is there a way to do this ?

2 – Disable Employee views :

I would like to disable the bulk actions and Export functions for some roles. I give my prospection (leads) to external persons. And I would like to disable thoses functions for them. Exporting leads would be dangerous for us…

1. There is a way but you need to implement it unfortunately we cant help you with any modifications of the system.
2. The export is global for all users, you cant disable it, the bulk actions are based on what user see on the table.. eq if user dont have permissions for tasks VIEW then this user will be able to make bulk actions for the tasks user need to manage (shown in table), for leads if user is not admin then this user only see his own leads.. In all cases the “damage” an user can do with the bulk actions can do manualy too..

In the language file, some fields have no lines

If you are using language that dont exist in Perfex CRM make sure you copied all the new text after # Version X.X.X from the original english file located in application/language/english/english_lang.php

Replied to your ticket and problem is fixed. Yes this is bug in 1.2.9 and a new version is already provided in auto update (Setup->Settings->System Update) for all user who are using v1.2.9 also the files are updated in Codecanyon and waiting to be approved.

how to set new registered client not receiving emails from the perfex system ? I want to list my client using perfex, but I don’t want them to login or get notified by automated email system when using perfex.

You can set the email template to disabled and wont be send ever to the users while is this user is registered or added from admin area.
In Setup->Email Templates open the template New Customer Added/Registered (Welcome Email) and check the disabled field.

I love the work you guys put in this but it feels a bit incomplete. We have been using this program for a while now but we where forced stop using it because of a few key features our business needs, which I will mention below, to continue using this program. Are you planing on adding the following features in the near future are you available to due some custom work for us to add the following features?

1. Project clock in and out instead of just task timer 2. Payroll 3. Tax collected report. 4. Option to send just PDF attachment of the invoice, estimate and other files – Some clients people don’t like to go through registration and log ins.

I think you work has a great potential with those features compared to a lot of crm and hrm script on this site.

1. Not planned. We need to do a lot changes to achieve this.
2. Not for now, its out of Perfex CRM scope.
3. Will add to todolist for further review.
4. You can do this currently, attach some file in invoice by clicking on the More button and then Attach file, after you attach the file click on the button to send the invoice to the customer and you will be able to select attachment to be included in email, btw the clients does not need to login to view or pay the invoice. You can simply include the invoice link in the email.

First off amazing Product! I have been using your product for a few weeks and am blown away by the amount of functionality off the bat. That being said I do have a few questions retaining to permissions and if you have any plans of incorporating in future updates or if I should do it myself internally:

1) Staff Permissions – If you restrict a staff member from Tasks / Projects (view) the staff member can still assign themselves via the Customer’s area. Could you / Do you have any plans of making a customer Group bindable to an employee. This would allow the employee to only see Customers they are assigned too? If not could you make the “Edit” ability not available if they cannot view the project?

2) Knowledge Base – In the future do you have any plans of restricting the knowledge base via Customer Group / Internal. I know currently you can ‘Disable’ however setting the ‘Group’ to be associated with Customer Group would help greatly.

3) Invoices – As mentioned in ‘1’; If the ‘Employee’ is not part of the project is it possible to restrict them from seeing any invoices retaining to the project?

1. You can add customer admin but it cant be bindable to groups, this is currently not planned.
If staff member have permissions for projects or tasks VIEW then will be able to see all. VIEW allows staff member to see ALL projects. If you only want them to see projects they are assigned (added as members), do not give VIEW permissions. There was 1 bug where staff see all projects in customer profile but is fixed in v.1.2.9.
2. The knowledge base area is simple an available for all users with option to turn visibility to logged in or not logged in.
3. The staff member does not see invoices/project invoice if dont have permissions for invoices VIEW.

Hi! Before I buy this CRM I would like to know if there is possibility to integrate with forms from other websites. I have many landing pages collecting leads and support tickets. Does Perfex CRM have some API? or can I just insert leads/tickets directly into database?

Can I modify invoice template to add translation for not supported language?

1. Currently there is no API so you wont be able to integrate with API but if you have some basic php knowledge you can connect to Perfex CRM database and execute some simple query and insert the form informations.
2. All invoice template text is translated but yes you can modify it.

hello, 1/ i want to add a staff user, he can add lead estimate and proposal.. but i dont want hime to see all my leads.. just the leads that he is affected too, when i go to permission i try to check add and edit only but it want to check view too… can you please tell me how to proceed, thank you 2/ Is it possible to add the comission to sales staff ? for them to track how much money they are making and for me to know how much i how them ?

1.There is no permissions for leads and thats how currently the leads works. Only admins see all leads and non admin users see only leads that are public, created by this user or added as assigned to lead. To add and edit proposal the user will need permission for proposals view,create,edit. 2. No, you can only add hourly rate for tracked time by tasks.
