Hello. I have installed Visual Composer from Impreza and, at Headings settings, that custom fields from “Design” does not remain saved after pressing “Save Settings” (Enter values with respective unites. Example – 10px, 10em, 10%, etc.)

Great Plugin, only one problem:
When adding many page elements the backend editor is getting extremely slow.
We tested it on hand tuned Nginx and Apache Servers but the result is always the same, when using a lot of elements the editing gets very slow.
Is there any known server tweaks we can do, in order to make this faster?

Hello, we are working on performance on regular basis. Also, now in production we do have new Visual Composer which will be blazingly fast – early results are amazing. Please follow notifications. As for server tweaks, make sure to increase your RAM as it will affect speed.

Hello, extended license is different from multi-use license. Right now Envato does not offer such license type so you will need to purchase regular license for each of your projects separately.

Is there a element to insert some HTML Content that is not wrapped into a div container?
I would like to wrap same elements between an opening and a closing Shortcode. Consequently these Shortcodes have to be inserted directly before and after the correspondingly elements and must not be in a seperate div container each.
Is that possible?
Hello, you will need to perform custom coding to achieve this, right now there is no direct solution for this specific case. The only element available ir Raw HTML which can be used for html input.

Thanks for your response. Just tried it, but it’s still inserted in a div container. How can I insert raw HTML directly to the page content without any div container? Could you add such an option?

Hello, there is no direct tutorial for this one. You will need to look into js_composer folder and perform customization which will require some digging into code.

Tx, but this morning the developer of SAVOY theme told me he had switched off frontend editor on purpose because is was slowing down websites too much. without telling the buyers. OR the Savoy theme is bloated, OR VC is bloated, but somewhere there is a problem between them.

yes but in the latest version you have remove some of the elements that we used before but in new page or post we can not use those old elements
We may have removed very old elements from Add Element menu, but not from system itself so they will work. Maybe you are talking about elements added by theme or addon, in such case theme or addon author must ensure to have their elements compatible with the latest version.

A client who bought our theme came with a strange problem, so I wanted to know about best solution to it, as he is using VC_Gallery shortcode element.
So, the problem is that the images in gallery does not display Caption attribute in Pretty Photo slider. I’ve checked the code of vc_gallery.php template and there seems no title=”content” attribute implemented.
Is there a way to show title for gallery items, because client says that it was working previously so I am not sure what to do.

Hi guys, the user can overwrite prettyPhoto function via functions.php by adding prettyPhoto() where he can add a caption. From our side, we will think about extending options for prettyPhoto.

Hello, yes, if you got VC within a theme you don’t have to activate it. You can use it with this theme. Yet there are few restrictions: using outside your theme is not possible, receiving direct updates, support and access to template library. To unlock these features you will need to consider purchasing direct license.
