I have 2 serious problems with your plugin. Everything is alright, and I love its customizability, but: · Bookly generates too complex passwords for my clients. It usualy creates passwords with this symbol: ^. It is dificult to be typed by my clients, and I would thank you to change this for easiest passwords. · I don’t receive, and some of my clients too, some appointment notifications emails, so I don’t know if they have appointed and they aren’t sure if they did it right.
Could you help me, please? I am having too much problems.

Hi,
You need to access this file wp-content/plugins/appointment-booking/lib/entities/Customer.php, and on 153rd line you’ll need to change it to $password = wp_generate_password( 6, true );
In case you want to have just letters and numbers you’ll need to change from “true” to “false”.

Pre-purchase question, would like to add a local payment gateway to accept payments. How extendable is this area of the plugin? I.E would we be able to build and hook in another gateway module, without having to edit the core code

You can use other payment gateways with the WooCommerce integration (that WooCommerce supports). If you’ll enable this integration then the booking flow will change a bit, customers will be redirected to a WooCoomerce cart after the details step and payments from Bookly will be disabled. Hi
My link to Google Cal stopped working and now I am getting double bookings because existing appts in Google Cal are not being seen by Bookly Cal.
I checked and all the credentials are still there.
What do I do to get the connection working again please?

Please follow this steps:
1) Update the plugin to the most recent release – v 12.0.
2) Update the Redirect URI in google developers console.
3) Disconnect and connect back all staff members.

Thanks – I did those steps, and it seemed to be working when I tested it.
But then I received an new appointment email where the appointment did not show up in my Google Cal.
And when I checked, Bookly was again making times available that were blocked out with other appts.
Is there a more permanent fix for this? Tx

Hello, my only problem I’m having is that the module I’m using doesn’t enable you to select more than one time at a time, I need people to be able to book more than one day if they need to like give them the ability to book 3 days if it’s part of the special Like this module for WordPress enables you to have specials for select days is there a way we can configure that so that if they’re doing a promotion that they will have the ability to select three days.

Hi there – another question. On my booking page when selecting a service, the page stalls as if something is loading in the background when i click on a service in the drop-down. This happens with each service I select. Please advise if it’s potentially caused by a setting or if this is a known issue -thanks!

Please check if you don’t have caching plugins, as Bookly is not compatible with this type of plugins. I advise to disable them and clean your browser’s cache.

Such behavior is usually caused by files that are left after a Lite copy of the plugin. In case you used lite version in the past, make sure that you remove those Bookly Lite files via FTP before installing a full version. Check if you also set all other parameters correctly. If you are sure that everything is set properly but it still doesn’t work – please, reply at support@ladela.com with your purchase code, screenshots and the description of the case. You may also include the FTP and WP back-end access credentials so we could investigate and help you fix this.

Hello! I’m using Stripe via the Bookly app, however when i process a refund, I it looks like the payments section in the backend is not synced. Is there a way to edit the appointments/payments in the wordpress backend to indicate that I’ve processed a refund for a particular booking? Thanks!

Hi Bookly developer. I love your plugin, but it seems that your quality control has been slipping lately. Specifically, could you PLEASE STOP CHANGING THE GOOGLE API ENDPOINTS! Bookly has gone thru at least 3 changes: ab-system-staff, bookly-system-staff, and now bookly-staff. Each time you change it, google calendar integration breaks and I end up with double booked appointments and other real business issues.

We’re sorry, but currently we don’t have a demo with the WooCommerce integration. The purpose of the integration is to have access to other payment gateways, the booking flow will change a little bit, customers will be redirected to a WooCommerce cart after the details step and payments from Bookly will disabled. Though in rest, Bookly will remain the same – you’ll book services from Bookly and not products from WooCommerce.
You can create customized booking forms that will have a default staff member by updating the shortcode of booking form.

This is not the purpose of the WooCommerce integration, customers can’t book WooCommerce products. They will book Bookly’s services, the only thing that will change if that customers will be redirected to a WooCommerce cart after the details step and payments from Bookly will be disabled.

Hi, i purchased your plugin and set it up, looks nice, however i can’t get the Google Calendar sync to work. As soon as i configure the Google Calendar settings (including the OathID), my Staff details screen just keeps spinning and i cannot connect any staff members to the calendar. Once i remove the Google Calendar settings, the Staff details screen works again fine. I need this to work without issues asap.
Can you please help urgently as this is main reason i purchased your plugin for my client. Thank you.

Bookly adds bookings to WooCommerce cart and those are being processed with WooCommerce payment gateways. So basically, you use WooCommerce account capabilities to process payments for your bookings and if Alipay is supported by WooCommerce, then it would work this way.

I have a directory website called www.submit-link.org. In this site, people list their business.
Many hotels/restaurants/doctors/tutors/lawyers list their business in my site.
Currently, I am looking for a WordPress plugin which can be added to this type of listing for taking direct booking from my site with payment option.
So for example, I have a listing for a restaurant in my website. Now, a visitor arrives in the listing of the restaurant and makes a table reservation for a particular date. Now, the customer should be able to pay directly from my site to book the table. There should be two options:
1. Pay now
2. Pay locally
For every booking made through my site, the plugin should be able to take a commission for me (the site owner).
And the customer should be able to cancel the booking and if he had paid for it, he should be able to get a refund.
Can your plugin do all these?

Hi,
Envato sent me an email about a Bookly update. But when I go to Dashboard-Installed Plugins, there is NO update notification about Bookly. Envato also recommends to download it through MY Downloads section. Could you please explain me if there is a reason to update and how I am gonna do it SAFELY without loosing any stored data ( I already have created many services and I don’t want to take any risk to loose it).

The website updates are usually released with few days delay as it takes time for Envato to review the updated version. Feel free to update though Wordpress in one click its the same as re-installing the plugin, but you won’t need to deactivate and its just easier that way. So you have the most recent version if you don’t have update notice at the WP Plugins page. In some cases data loss may be possible. In the past we received feedback from a customer reporting data loss after update. We always recommend to back-up your data each time you update the plugin.
