I have massive troubles with bookly – plugin again, please help:
1) how to set off the “team/member? I am am just one person, I have no “team”, 2) how to set off cathegories? I just have 3 services, dont need any categories, 3) how to activate Email-Notification? BIGGEST PROBLEM It does not work at all – just the “Test Email” works – but not normal using – not the customer, nor me gets a information, nor WP-Login details are sendet to costomer… 4) how to activate the C U S T O M SMS notification? By active SMS notification, the SMS comes to my customer but NOT in my definied text…, but with a extremly bad and poor german translation, which I cant send to my customers, 5) how to add the Bookly-Plugin into “Hide My WP”-plugin so, that “Hide My WP” acceps bookly? 6) How to change Sender-ID from “Bookly” into “XYZ”? I ve tryied it, but… what is that? Who approves/changes it? How long we must wait to change … There is ablotutely NOTHING abouth this in the documetiaon,

1, 2. You should follow these instructions while adding the form to your page:

The article explains how you can remove elements of the first step with option to pre-define the fields’ values.
3. In case with email notifications I would recommend to try testing this feature with following parameters adjusted one-by-one:
- change address in “Sender Email” parameter in Email Notifications tab to an address of another email service provider.
- change “Send Emails as” parameter to “text”
- disable the feature “Reply Directly to Customers”
- make sure that proper email notification templates are enabled as they are set separately for pending and approved bookings.
4. Edit SMS notifications at this section of Bookly (click their headers and they will expand showing editable fields).
5. Bookly was not tested with that plugin, I’m sorry that we don’t have such information.

Available booking not showing:
Staff member hours are set at 9:00am to 5:00pm with a break from 12pm to 1pm. Time slot length is set at 1h 30min Padding after services is set at 30min
There is already a booking in the staff member’s Google calendar at 11:00am. So if booking a one-hour service, I would expect available bookings to be shown at 9:00am, 1:00pm, 2:30pm and 4:00pm. However, it is only the afternoon bookings that are shown as available.
I don’t understand why the 9:00am booking is not available.

You might want to set a timeslot length to 30 minutes and services durations to “1 hour” and “1 hr 30 mins”. Also in this case you should make sure that you have timezone city settings set up correctly not only in Wordpress Settings but also that the same city is set in Google Calendar account. Also you might want to disable the parameter “Display available time slots in client’s time zone” in Bookly Settings. Please, adjust the Timeslot Length parameter in Settings. It defines how precisely users can select time for bookings. Also note that Services Duration is a parameter that doesn’t depend on timeslot length, but it can not be less than a duration of one timeslot in your setup.

Hi there,
I love the Bookly plug-in so i’ve got 2 licenses for different websites.
I use Bookly to plan classes for my freelance employees. To make sure the employees do not see any other stuff on the backend i use Client Dash. Though i can’t seem to get the Bookly plugin Calander to show up on my employees backend (anymore)
Is there a way to get this to work right?

You might actually create a WP account with Editor role and associate it with a Staff Member account in Bookly. Once logged-in, such users will have limited access: they will only be able to edit their own settings and operate Calendar with own events in backend. Though in your case there is a third-party plugin installed, so I recommend to check it’s configuration. I updated to version 12 and I lost my google calender integration! After you released another update on envato I guess to fix this, but you haven’t update the “auto update” in admin panel. So I decided to update manually by downloading from envato and upload to the plugins. I did so! Guess what! I lost all my configurations for the booking system, including appointments, css, staff, french translations!
Normally updating a plugin manually, should keep all the configuration! I did the update manually cuz there was no autoupdate and the google integration was crucial for my business!

The website updates are usually released with few days delay as it takes time for Envato to review the updated version. Always update though Wordpress in one click its the same as re-installing the plugin, but you won’t need to deactivate and its just easier that way. You experienced data loss because you have probably deleted the previous version and then installed a new one. I fixed the problem manually. it took some hours and I experienced downtime in my service. It would be good if you add an export and import feature for both bookly data and configs. because currently even with automatic db restores, or for migrations I face problems and I have to restore the complete website backup or do things manually.

Hey! I’m looking to buy this plugin but I want to ask something first. I need your plugin to be able to book multiple participants to an event that I add previously in the back-end and impose a limit for registration. Practical example: a yoga class that have a web-site and requires participants to reserve a spot on the website before attending a class because there is a limit of 20 participants at a class. They should be able to see the calendar and chose the time they wish to attend to the class and when all 20 spots for that class are filled should not let clients register anymore for that time. Is this possible to make with this plugin? If yes how?

You could use the capacity option for this need. If you set a service with a capacity for 20 persons, then only 20 customers will be able to book this service for the same time slot. I advise also to check our demos and lite version to see if it will fit your needs.

I have a problem with the newest Version of Bookly. I have updated the plugin yesterday because of another problem with staff and Google Clender Integration.
After the Update, all the configuration was away. I’ve configured all the staff and services new.
Now, I have a new problem. Bookly can find all free slots in Google Calender but is showing also all the booked Dates (from the previously version of bookly) as free. Dates, that i’ve inserted manually to google calender are recognized as booked.

Does Bookly have a calendar view that users see BEFORE they go through the 5 step online appointment process? Design wise, I prefer a “big calendar” view before the appointment form.
