Hi Realmag777
Is it possible to have product author filter in checkbox or radio layout?
Hello
I think yes, but just now drop-down only. I will do this for the next 2.1.7. Added into todo list… If you developer you can create custom extension … See folder ‘ext’ of the plugin …
Thanks mate, will wait for your update then, I really appreciate it
Welcome …
Also one more things mate, if you can put the price slider under the toggle it will look way more cooler too…cheers and have a great weekend.
Hello
Do you mean insert ability for toggling container with price-filter in the seacrh form?
Exactly mate, that will look really cool
Good, understood, I will think of it too …
Hi, I try the free version. I translate some string, but when I upgrade the plugin I lost the translation. where I can put the .po file I generate for prevent the update? thanks
Hello
You can put your translation in ‘wp-content\plugins\woocommerce-products-filter\languages’ folder …
Hi, I put in this folder the italian .po file, but when I upgrade it yesterday it was delete
Hello
Sure, better share with me that file and I will include it in the next update. When any wp plugins updates – all files firstly deleting, so any custom modifications and files will be removed ...
Hi, I really like your plugin, but I just had two questions before buying – 1) Is it possible to show different filters depending on the product category chosen. 2) Also I can’t seem to get the headings of the filters, its shows the options Red, Blue, Yellow, etc.. but it doesn’t show the heading Colours.
Thanks for your help in advance.
Hello
1) Yes, in 2 ways: dynamic recount to hide non-relevant filters or use shortcode [woof] http://www.woocommerce-filter.com/shortcode/woof/ with its attributes ‘tax_only’ and ‘by_only’. You can always drop it in usual text-widget and show only on the pages you want using this plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/widget-logic
2) Headings – you should enable it in the ‘additional settings’ button -> ‘Show title label’ -> ‘Yes’
Hi,
I use your Pro plugin on one site and am considering purchasing it for another site, as well. The need that I have is for the simple text search to search only the product name and taxonomies, but NOT to search the product description. Can your plugin do that?
Thanks, NS
Hello
for the simple text search to search only the product name and taxonomies – looks like no, as the plugin doesn make search by text for taxonomies …
Hi I am setting up a WooCommerce site and am trying to set up a size filter. However it is not filtering by size.
https://monosnap.com/file/p1DrmkAKLrHNPzvmQypZK0MPdrfzxyI have followed the instructions to Enable Archive but it still does not show up.
https://monosnap.com/file/uUVTYM5xYWz1oSwrDuBafwmnJ3spw7The other filters are working. Can you advise on the issue? Thanks.
Hello
Drop me link please …
This is the test site
http://pewp.gravitate.sg/shop/Can you disable all plugins except WOOF+woocommerce, I see strange behavior with dynamic recount http://clip2net.com/s/3FaIUT2 OR you really set all sizes for all 63 products?
It’s still showing 63 items in all sizes with only WooCommerce and WOOF activated. I did not set all sizes for all 63 products. That’s the reason for the support request.
I can suggest you deal only – you will buy the plugin and send request here https://codecanyon.net/item/woof-woocommerce-products-filter/11498469/support with wp-admin access to let the support resolve this. If this one issue will not be resolved – I will give you refund
Hi, I found your plugin really interesting and I would like to get a license for it. Before I do it i would like to ask you a question.
Would it be possible to turn the range slider into something like this?
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/5518617/Question.jpgThanks in advance.
Hello
Just looked the screen – do you mean price range slider as radio-boxes?
Hello, to have an idea, i mean something like the item “Tissue Density Range” in your Live Preview.
Hello
That is ob the demo is range slider for taxonomies and its presented only in the premium version of the plugin …
Hello, of course I would get the premium version. Do you think I could turn the slider into something like the image I linked before?
Hello
I think no, range slider can be only as this one http://clip2net.com/s/3FaJye7 – maybe you will be able to get you want by CSS – but I not assist in such things …
Hello, that’s ok, thank you.
Not at all, Welcome …
Hello,
I really like your filter and would like to buy the plugin, however, I am using the free version at the moment and everything is working perfectly except when I select “Try to ajaxify the shop” which is one of the main features I am after.
When I select ajaxify the shop, the filter does the following:
1) Sorts products in 4 columns with smaller image size but my theme is setup to show 3 columns
2) When selecting product page 2 I get empty white screen with number 0
3) When resetting the filter it takes me out of the category I was in and displays all products from all categories.
The filter is displayed as shop widget and some of the settings I am using are:
Show Count: Yes Dynamic recount: Yes Try to ajaxify the shop: Yes Products per page: -1 Disable swoof influence: Yes
I am using Flatsome theme so does the ajax feature work with this theme?
https://themeforest.net/item/flatsome-multipurpose-responsive-woocommerce-theme/5484319?s_rank=1Thank you in advance!
Jonee
Hello Jonee
1) https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/change-number-of-products-per-row/
2) – You have js error? as such pagination behavior in ajax mode is usual for it when js error presented on the site. Try to catch it by: http://www.woocommerce-filter.com/how-to-use-firebug-in-firefox-browser/ OR just drop link here …
I am using Flatsome theme so does the ajax feature work with this theme? – as I’ve heard yes, but I not tested it
QUESTION: Will the pro version get rid of none existing catergories from showing up?
Please view link: https://miautoparts.com/product-category/chevrolet/
The issue for me is that it shows all the years that don’t have products and models that are not of Chevy and submodels that arent chevy.
Hello
Enable please show count+dynamic recount and all not related terms will be disabled but visible in free version. In premium version options “Hide empty terms” will help you hide it at all, but firstly check it with free version pf the plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/woocommerce-products-filter/ to understand that it works for your site at all …
Hi
I have installed the filter and it initially worked fine. But then I added CDN (CloudFlare) and it is not filtering anymore. I have select Form AJAX redrawing -Yes and No – but it does not make a difference. Is there something else I must do? See “shop” on http://hampersinlondon.com/
If you can’t solve the issue – just buy any hamper and send it to somebody in the UK.
OK – I have slightly more info: The Widget in the sidebar is not filtering. But when I select “Set Filter Automatically” – Yes and the filter is at the top of the catalog, then it works. Does it make sense?
Hello
All is simple – http://clip2net.com/s/3F1ILg7 – 2 js errors which prevent functionality of the plugin. So to make WOOF works fine that js bugs should be resolved …
http://www.woocommerce-filter.com/how-to-use-firebug-in-firefox-browser/I don’t understand your answer and most of the screen is not in English. Can you please explain? Is there something I must do? I am not a developer.
See please red text – smth wrong with javascript on your site. Maybe CDN no adjusted on your site. Ask your site developer please what to do.
None of us can read the language of that screen, See the right-hand side of the screen – it is not English.
red text is English – jQuery is not defined – this is your trouble
row 65 col 1490 + row 174 col 14
you can always guess from the picture
Can you give support in English? If I can not get support in English, then I will just abandon the plugin – sorry.
No – I can’t guess and I can’t use a product where I have to “guess”.
I have now uninstalled your product as I cannot use something where I can’t get proper support.
Your site has js error and its out of my support- BUT I helped you – I shown you the issue on your side. I tried to help you with smth which is not even my and is extra from my side for you – but you wasnt polite even for this, so thank you that you uninstalled it!
hi, how to change the size of color box, size box, category font size and header font size
Hello
category font size + header font size – its is CSS of your theme, manipulate by it. Maybe this plugin will help you: https://wordpress.org/plugins/easy-google-fonts/
http://www.woocommerce-filter.com/i-need-small-css-customization/HI we would like to know if this plugin help us filter the poroduct based on brand + sub brand + location country + city ? like the one you see in batterybhai.com where you choose first the car company, then the car type, car model, then state and then city.

Hello
If you mean hierarchy structure of terms in the same taxonomy – yes – http://www.demo.woocommerce-filter.com/working-with-hierarchy-drop-down/

Hello
In the plugin settings near each taxonomy in the first tab press button “additional options”
http://www.woocommerce-filter.com/video-tutorials#video_beGT6p_lookHello
It can be wp theme incompatibility OR with another plugin conflict, BUT I think its resolvable and just need quick investigation. I can suggest you deal – buy the plugin and send to support https://codecanyon.net/item/woof-woocommerce-products-filter/11498469/support request with this troubles description and ftp+wp-admin access – and if it will not be resolved – I will give you refund …
Hi, First, sorry for my english.
I have some difficulty to use the filter. It looks like I’m not using the plugin correctly
We are using the filter (category) – in the structure, we have only checked the “Product Categories” with radio button. When we are in a specific product, when we click on a category in the filter, we see the “loading” but we stay in the product and it not shows the products in that category.
What we’re doing wrong?
Thanks in advance
Hello
Drop me exact link with issue please …
this is on a development server. Can I sent you by email?
Hello
You can send request here https://codecanyon.net/item/woof-woocommerce-products-filter/11498469/support – but if your issue will need more deep investigation you will have to buy the plugin – but of course support should understand that WOOF is compatible with your wp theme and with site in complex … Better send on support wp-admin access too Do not forget to describe issue to understand what about request is …
hi!
i have a question we have the pro version of the plugin, but in the dashboard of the plugin there are only the options radio, checkbox, drop-down and Multi drop down. There is not the option hieracly dropdown, Is it enabled by smtg else?
thnx
Hello
You can activate it in the tab Extensions and press Save
p.s. I see no label ‘purchased’ on your message, so if you bought the plugin with any wp theme on themeforest please request support there …
Hi, pre-sales question: Is it possible to use your plugin with a custom product loop ie for Jupiter (Artbees). Thanks Gary
Hello Gary
I do not know how works that functionality in Jupiter theme, so I cant tell you. But you can test it self with free version of the plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/woocommerce-products-filter/
Realmag777,
Our website is www.jigzle.co and our shop uses WOOF. Please, please help us out on these two issues:
1. Not alphabetical order—When we first enter the shop page, the products are in alphabetical order (woocommerce default). However, when we use the Hierarchy drop-down on product category, the result is not in alphabetical order and is quite messy. Ajax is turned on. Is there a way to make it so that every search (using hierarchy drop-down, checkbox, search by text…) is in alphabetical order?
2. Search by text is not accurate—When searching for “puzzle mat”, the result includes products that has the word “aniMATion” in it. This ideally should not happen. Is there a solution for this?
Thank you very much for your time and help. Great work on the plugin so far, by the way.
Regards, Andrio / Jigzle
Hello Andrio
1) Should work as ordering by default is taken from wp-admin/admin.php?page=wc-settings&tab=products§ion=display -> “Default Product Sorting”. Maybe you using any special plugins, as I see “Sort alphabetically (A – Z)” which is not usual for woocommerce – in such case it can be incompatibility and better try to use redirect mode
2) Text searching works in wp-content\plugins\woocommerce-products-filter\ext\by_text\index.php -> public function woof_post_text_filter -> title_or_content ->
AND (post_title REGEXP '{$woof_text}' OR post_content REGEXP '{$woof_text}')
Try please next code instead:
AND (post_title LIKE '{$woof_text}' OR post_content LIKE '{$woof_text}')
Hello again,
Thank you very much for your very quick response.
1) Sorry – the plugin was something that I experimented with yesterday (to no effect). I have now deactivated the plugin. I have also tried to disable “try to ajaxify shop” to enable redirect mode (I dont know if this understanding is correct) and the products are sorted alphabetically, which is good.
However, I do hope to be able to apply Ajax to the shop because I have description in the main category that I wish to display while the customer browses. Plus, it’s very cool that Ajax does not make the shop refresh while we perform filter. Is it still possible in my case to enable Ajax and have the products sorted alphabetically?
2) I have located and replaced REGEXP with LIKE in the file you specified, but no results are returning for the search query “puzzle mat”. I have also experimented with other terms, to no good result. Also tried replacing LIKE with SIMILAR TO after googling a bit, but also to no good result. Could you please recommend another solution? (I have now returned the search condition to REGEXP)
Regards, Andrio
Hello!
I have received for your other reply via email for issue no. 2 and it is now functioning as expected. Thank you very much! I have added $woof_text =”[[:<:]]”.$woof_text.”[[:>:]]”; above //* switch ($behavior) and it works well.
Please do still help us out for issue no. 1 when you can.
Many thanks for the great help so far.
Hello Andrio
$woof_text =”[[:<:]]”.$woof_text.”[[:>:]]”; – this code will be placed in the next version of the plugin
Ordering – try please next hook please: http://www.woocommerce-filter.com/hook/woof_products_query/ – in your site functions.php – just modificate arguments ‘order’ and ‘orderby’ on that you want: https://codex.wordpress.org/Class_Reference/WP_Query#Order_.26_Orderby_Parameters
If no luck – continue conversation in the same email chain: share ftp+wp-admin access to the site …
Hello again Realmag777,
I sent you a private message, pllease check that instead. Thanks!
Hello Andrio
Troubles with FTP – we tried 3 ways – no luck, write request to your hosting about how to access there, password we have doesn work …
Just as a note to others reading comments, the issue we had has now been properly resolved by realmag777 and his team. Great response time and the best support we’ve had so far with any plugin. Plugin also works wonderfully.
Do not hesitate purchasing this plugin if you are running an online shop like we are
It makes it so much easier for our customers to search products.
Hello Andrio
Thank you & Welcome
Pre-purchase question how to add woof not widget filter term on woocommerce product category page and single product page. like this >>> http://www.demo.woocommerce-filter.com/woof-not-widget/
I'm using your free version planning to upgrade it, wonderfull plugin I would like to write a review about your plugin in my blog.
Hello
On that page I using shortcodes:
[woof sid="auto_shortcode" autohide=1]
[woof_products per_page=8 columns=4 is_ajax=1]
So:
-
product category page – add shortcode [woof sid=”auto_shortcode” autohide=1] into file of your theme wp-content\themes\YOUR_THEME\woocommerce\archive-product.php wrapped into PHP condition
is_product_category() - single page – the same algorithm but insert the shortcode into wp-content\themes\YOUR_THEME\woocommerce\single-product.php without any conditions
I would like to write a review about your plugin in my blog – thank you
FYI I have followed the above steps but it’s not coming I tried my best. Please help me with detail guide to use the woof not widget on product category and single product page. my humble request.
Hello
I can suggest you the deal – you will buy the plugin and send request here https://codecanyon.net/item/woof-woocommerce-products-filter/11498469/support with wp-admin access and ftp – and support will do all options you need …
I’m purchasing the plugin now hope you support me for my requirement. If I get happy with your support I’ll give you 5$ tip
Hello
Thank you for purchasing! Today end of Friday already and support is closed. You will get the answer on Monday already …
Hi, I have sent you my FTP and WordPress credential there is no changes in the website. I also want to know how to show only specific taxanomy using short code in the widget area ? please help
Hello
Wait please, support will answer you
I also want to know how to show only specific taxanomy using short code in the widget area – use shortcode [woof] in usual text-widget http://www.woocommerce-filter.com/shortcode/woof/ and it attribute ‘tax_only’
We are investigating your site …
Hi, I think your Product Filter plugin is awesome and I would like to purchase it to use on my site. I have downloaded the trial and implemented it. I am testing it but have a few questions:
1) I am using the latest version of the Jupiter theme and have had a custom product loop style developed. I have used your “custom_tpl” attribute to point the shortcode to my custom php page. It doesn’t work though. I can see the filters that I have configured, but when I select a filter it has no effect on the product loop.
Here is the shortcode I am using: woof sid=”my_auto_shortcode” autohide=1 taxonomies=product_cat:12 tax_only=’pa_brand,pa_gender,pa_metal’
2) When I use “taxonomies=product_cat:12” (where 12 is the ID for my “watches” category, the page does not load. If I change it to taxonomies=product_cat:watches, then the page loads?
Would you be able to log into my site and see what the issue is? If you can resolve it I will definitely purchase your plugin.
Thank you
regards Gary
Hello Gary
1) That template can has its own taxonomy logic inside and because of this rewrite request of WOOF
2) Be sure that product category 12 exists and not empty!
Would you be able to log into my site and see what the issue is? – lets make a deal – you will buy the plugin and send request to support https://codecanyon.net/item/woof-woocommerce-products-filter/11498469/support with wp-admin access and ftp – If I will not resolve that 2 issues – I will give you refund …
Ok, that is a very fair offer
Will sort out and mail you the details.
This is what I tried:
[woof sid=”auto_shortcode” taxonomies=product_cat:12]
[woof_products per_page=12 columns=4 taxonomies=product_cat:12 custom_tpl=’themes/jupiter-child/components/shortcodes/mk_products/loop-styles/product-loop-extra.php’]
The category with ID 12 definitely has products in it.
Thanks Gary
Hello Gary
Its need investigation and code looking (product-loop-extra.php – I do not know what is here and it works), please describe it in the support message with details and links …
How do I remove (delete) or add attributes from the settings page, under the structure tab? Like this: http://prntscr.com/dcc3v8
WOOF is just filter and doesn manage taxonomies of the site (Creating, removing, editing) – just reading only. You cant remove that tag as it belongs to woocommerce plugin, but you can add more taxonomies by https://wordpress.org/plugins/custom-post-type-ui/ OR just create new attributes using usual woocommerce functionality wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=product&page=product_attributes
I sent you a support email since yesterday. I havent received any reply. The plugin is breaking things.
Ok. I have received your reply.
since yesterday – support doesn work on weekend. Great, continue conversation there please …
Is there a way to include product categories and product tags in the search? For example, I have product categories: Wedding Cakes, Birthday Cakes, Children Cakes, etc. as categories. If someone searched “Wedding Cake” is there a way for it to return all cake products that are under the Wedding Cakes category in woocommerce?
2. Is there an easy way to replace the default wordpress search with Woof?
Hello
If someone searched “Wedding Cake” is there a way for it to return all cake products that are under the Wedding Cakes category in woocommerce? – not such feature in the plugin, but maybe you mean pre-defined search – maybe this will help you http://www.woocommerce-filter.com/possible-color-selector-show-circular-shaped-colors-instead-square/
Is there an easy way to replace the default wordpress search with Woof? – WOOF just extends woocommerce searching, but you can use only text searching using only this shortcode http://www.woocommerce-filter.com/shortcode/woof_text_filter/ – but where to insert it on your site – is question to your wp theme code
