Currently only the admin users have full access to Bookly. You’ll need some third party plugins which allow you to restrict access to some parts of admin panel for some particular users. You can check this one: http://adminmenueditor.com/home-alt1/

Hi Guys,

I would like to know if there is a way to find out about the ‘cart abandonment’ within bookly. My client would like to get in contact with persons that fill out the contact details but don’t finish the payment process.

Could you please tell me if this is possible and if how.

I can not guarantee that it will definitely work for your case, but I heard that you can try to add JS code of Google Analytics to the final booking page to track conversion.

Thank you for your reply. Not really the answer I was looking for though at the moment, but I think my explanation was not clear enough. This make the situation a bit more clear I hope, if not I would like to send you some photo’s of the all if possible:

-When a customer fills in a his/her details and processes to ‘payments’ they are redirected to page of the bank. From that moment, the details of the customer come in to bookly already…. When I look at it appointments in Bookly at that moment I can see all the details of the customers and says it’s pending.

When the customer doesn’t finish the the payment the details of the customer are gone. I would those details to be saved so that I can send them a follow up. I would like to know why they didnt finished the payment and if there is something I can do for them to make them finish it. To make things more clear I would like to send some photo’s of the situation if it’s not clear right now.

—To come back on your answer; is there more detailed documentation on how to implement event tracking on the stages of Bookly?

You should make sure that you removed Bookly Lite files via FTP before installing a full version. Check if you also associated your staff members with services, disabled caching plugins and set all parameters correctly. If you are sure that everything is set properly but it still doesn’t work – please, send us an email to support@ladela.com with your purchase code, screenshots and additional details of the case. Also include the FTP and WP back-end access credentials so we could investigate and help you fix this.

Hello

I would like to know if there is a system where the visitor has to register before a booking is made? In the same manner if the visitor can confirm his booking by emails that someone else does not make a booking that is fake, thus making a mess for the business.

Currently this is not supported, though you can hide the booking form, making it available only for registered users, we suggest that you try these third party plugins: Wordpress Access Control or User Access Manager. These enable you to restrict any content on your site so that it can only be viewed by registered members.

Hi We’ve just update the Bookly plugin to Version 11.6. After the update when we check the booking calendar, it says “No time is available for selected criteria.” for any day we select. Plugin was working prior to this update.. Could you please help us to resolve the issue.

Please check if your staff member has Visibility parameter set to “Public” and that you set all other parameters correctly. Hallo, I’m using the “booked” plugin on my website http://www.escaperoomtorino.it and I like it a lot. In the last months reservations increased and i’m facing a little problem, When customers want to reserve for one day, after midnight, they have to switch day and reserve in the next day. Is it possible to display the available slots after midhight, after the last slot of the day? Thank you in advance for your help.

Hi, thanks for the interest!

The only way to display the slots for both days, is to disable the calendar on the “Time” step, with such a setup you’ll have the slots for all days that are available for booking. The days will still be separated but will displayed all together without changing the date. I advise to check our demos to see if it will fit your needs.

Hello,

I purchased and installed both the Bookly plugin and the locations add-on.

When I try to add a location I get the following problem: as seen in the screenshot.

I have Bookly installed on my website hosted by GoDaddy I recently purchased email notification and want to include it on my website

We usually recommend to make sure that you removed Bookly Lite files via FTP before installing a full version. So it would be better if you perform install of the full version at the new website, rather than migrating existing data.

Is there a way to integrate this for a bed and breakfast that only books 1 day a week? Therefore only needing the end user to select 1 day (Saturday)? The demo shows a Check-In and Check-Out date, could this be modified to only select 1 day for 1 day events?

Also, will this work with WooCommerce to collect a deposit to “reserve the date”?

Maximum service duration can be up to 24 hours, so those dates is just a range selector for the plugin to show only those timeslots that customer will be able to book. You should edit your Staff Member’s schedule to have only that day of the week as a working day. You might also want to navigate to Settings and set the “Number of days available for booking” parameter according to your needs.

Our Deposit Payments add-on works with WooCommerce so users could pay a partial amount before the appointment.

Evaluating the product before purchasing. I have my time slot length set at 15 minutes right now, but our appointments can go anywhere between 15 – 120 mins. Is there a way to allow customers to book multiple slots in 15 minute increments?

Timeslot Length parameter defines how precisely customers can book their appointments. You can mention the duration in the name of each service but still set that Duration parameter to 15 mins for all services. This will allow users to book each 15 minutes despite of the service type. Enable the Cart feature in Bookly Settings that allows users to collect timeslots in cart before submitting those.

Is it possible to “look busy”, that a random set of e.g. 5 timeslots are visible each day, evenly distributed along the day?

And that I can set this in settings for example for the company, next to google fetch records for example..

There is no such possibility to generate booked events. The good news is that you can manually add events at times when you are not available so that customers could not book those times. Create a new service that will be named for example “Personal Time” and have Visibility parameter set to “Private” so that customers couldn’t see it in the frontend. Also make sure you don’t forget to assign the service to your staff member account.

Hello, does this plugin have timezone support? My customers are located in different timezones and I am looking for a solution where the times will auto adjust to their timezone as to not confuse anyone.

Thank you for purchasing Bookly.

In this case I would recommend to try testing this feature with following parameters adjusted: change address in “Sender Email” parameter in Email Notifications tab to an address of another email service provider. Also you could try changing “Send Emails as” parameter to “text”. Try to disable the feature “Reply Directly to Customers” and make sure that proper email notification templates are enabled as they are set separately for pending and approved bookings.

Hi. I want my customer to be able to book 15 hours per week but book several different slots as they will in the week. I just purchased the Multiply Appointments plugin and Chain appointment plugin. I tested both even though i believe Multiply Appointments is what i need because it’s about booking the same type of service at different time of the week. But I couldn’t get it to do what i want. I select Quantity 3, then when selecting a slot in the available time it only lets me select one slots and considers I want all the appointments in a row… i want to be able to select different times of the week (for example 5 hours on monday, 5 hours on thursday and 5 hours on saturday).

Hello,

I’d like my Bookly to first ask customers to choose a location, then select a time, etc. I see from the Bookly website that there is a location select option/feature that is an add-on(?) but I don’t see how I can get this add-on. Also, can I configure the appearance and layout through WordPress? When I go to the Appearance tab and make my changes, they don’t apply to my custom form.

You can download this add-on here. It will not be possible to make the Location field the first one users select.
Make sure that you save changes after editing settings of the Appearance tab and clear cache before checking frontend.

Is it possible to configure a schedule for a specific location? For example, if the user chooses “New York” for a location, to then have Bookly bring up employee “John Doe” available in New York for only July 18-20, 2017?
