1). I need to add a free pick up service before my service. I absolutely need the pickup before. Can I do this with the chain appointment addon? If I create a different service for my pickup before my real service? (not everyone wants the pickup service) If YES, can I set a different default value and hide different field for the second chain appointment as well?
2). We provide pottery classes. 1 staff can take care of 4 persons. We can receive 20 persons at the same time (with 5 staffs). When I set my capacity to 4 persons per staff, it seems like Bookly is not able to receive groups larger than 4 persons. However, we still have 16 available seats and we need to accept booking from groups larger than 4 persons. How can I manage this?

1) Why don’t you create two services with a different duration, one with the pick up service and the second one without it?
2) That’s strange because if you set the capacity for 4 persons, than each staff member can be booked by 4 customers for the same time slot and the same service. If that’s not the case then please send us an email to support@ladela.com .

1).If I do this, I will not be able to manage the availability. I have 20 seats. If my service with free the pickup have 20 seats and the second one without it also 20 seats. This is 40 in total but I only have 20 seats….
2). When I set the capacity for 4 persons, than yes each staff member can be booked by 4 customers for the same time slot and the same service. But a group of 6 cannot book in 1 time. They need to do 2 separate booking (4+2 or 3+3).
I sure we will find a way…... :-/

1) Yes, you are correct. You have two options – using the chain appointment, and writing a message for the customer on the first step “If you need a free pick up please book it together with the class” (the thing here is that if customers don’t know the time of the class before hand, they won’t be sure when to book the pick up service). The second option is the extras add-on though in this case extra services end up after the booked appointment.
2) Currently this is not supported, one staff member can provide one service at a time.

I’m working with the Bookly Plugin and have a question. If I want to add custom fields to the service, how do I add to the price of the service?
Hi,
You can add custom fields in the custom fields menu and if you’ll enabled this setting – bind fields to services, you’ll be link custom fields to unique services.
There’s no option to add pricing to custom fields, though if you are interested in offering extra services to the “main” ones, you could check this add-on: https://codecanyon.net/item/bookly-service-extras-addon/15552320?s_rank=5

Hi, I’m getting this error message out of the blue without changing anything…

I have a little problem. When I add appointment from Google Calendar does not match the hours in the plugin in Bookly. There is a difference of two hours.
If we add from Bookly if it matches on Google Calendar.
I have different times each month. How I can do to modify the schedule by month?

1) Please check if the time zone is set correctly in WordPress settings.
2) Currently this is not supported, because Bookly is designed to work with a weekly schedule, after you set up the schedule it will repeat for the following weeks.

Is there a possibility, that when there is an appointment booked, not only an email notification is sent out but an .ics calendar (iCalendar) item is attached to the email? It would be beneficial, if the customer could add his/her appointment in his/her own calendar.

Please check the default status of the created appointments (settings menu), and if the relevant satisfactions are enabled. Besides that look if the combined notifications are enabled in settings -> cart, if that’s the case you’ll need to enable them also in the email notifications menu.

Hello,
I noticed that by default your plugin selects/ticks Mon to Fri, not minding the date of the month.
Is there a way to remove the default selection of Monday to Friday and make the selected date from the calendar to select its day?.
For example. A user selects the 4th Nov 2016, it automatically selects Friday being the 4th of November 2016.

The week days field indicates when staff member/s are available to provide services. Customer can use them as a filter to choose the days they are interested in booking an appointment (this field can be hidden). You can click on the calendar on the first step to choose the day you’re interested in to book a service.

I would like to use the Bookly wp plugin for reservations for a b&b. Is this possible? I checked it out carefully, but couldn’t find an easy way to use Bookly for b&b reservations (one night/ multiple night stay etc.). Can you help me with this?

Bookly is not really suited for hotel booking, because the longest duration of a service is a full day. If you want to book more days, you’ll need to use the built-in cart and book more time slots.

Hi – I have the problem, that the booking calendar is only visible, when I am looged in into WordPress.
When I log out and load the website – only the “Loading Circle” is visible.
I tried this on 2 different sites with different themes.
Any idea?

Really awesome. I need this add-on so bad. But I have just tested your demo and one thing seems to be missing. I just set one of the staff member’s special days and time. But when viewing the member’s calendar his availability doesn’t appear in the calendar. I mean the grid is all grey. It would be awesome to have the available slots were displayed white so that when viewing the calendar you can directly see when the employee is working. Hmmm… what if you’re the clinic manager/receptionist and you want to book appointments in the Calendar from the back-end (as the manager, it is normal you are not using the front-end). With the current state of the plugin you wouldn’t be able to see when the availabilities are.

Hello again. Listen to my case study. I work for a client at the moment whose clinic is a student clinic. Your add-on is interesting to me because students don’t have a fixed schedule. Their schedule is different every week! And they want the appointments to be available to book a month in advance. With your new add-on, i would be able to tell the clinic manager to use only the “special days”, not the normal schedule Tab. But for the clinic manager to book appointments efficiently, he needs to be able to have a quick look at the calendar and see what slots are free at a glance. If the slots were white when they have special days/times set in the calendar, it would be really helpful. It would be spectacular if you could add this feature. By the way, is there any way you could write me a message when the add-on is available? Kind regards.

Hi, I’m wondering how the customer is meant to know his own password. When making a booking with the Bookly form (and when the “Create WordPress user account for customers” option is checked) a customer is created but the password is not entered by the customer but generated by Bookly. And the notification email does not contain the password either. So how is the customer meant to know his password? Thanks,

Hi I’m looking to achieve a search + booking system that pulls search results from Opening Hours entered by new signups and removes them from search results when already booked for time + date, very similar to the search + booking system used on Hassle.com. Can your plugin achieve this or can you advise how it might be achieved? Any help greatly appreciated.

Currently a search option is not supported. You could use the location add-on to add the zip codes then link these codes to staff members, though you’ll need to do it manually, and customers will need to choose manually the zip code from a drop down list.
