Can you sort by products matching options? For example, let’s say I had two clock models and those clocks each had their own matching hands. Could you “sort by Clock A and Clock B” then all the products matching “Clock A” or “Clock B” could show?

Hi, well, you could add the filter in sidebar or fullscreen mode, then you can use any icon to trigger the Product Filter icon and show the filter. Some customers are using it in this way. I think I’ll add a guide for this in the next update within the documentation. Thanks.

I love this Plugin!
I need to create a filter based on answers for my skin care site. In other words, the customer selects from a few options about their skin type and skin concerns and the filter then shows the products that match their selection. Here’s an example here:

When I create an Advanced Filter and name the filter something like “Men’s Boxers” the apostrophe has a backslash before it, like this “Men\’s”. I think you need to add stripsallslashes to your code somewhere. Please add this to the next update. Thanks.
Hi, thanks for reporting. I’ll check the issue, but you can also use the ’ and not the one you’re using as you’re interfering with the database this way, and you surely want the ’ char, just copy/paste and it will work and will not add slashes. Thanks!

This plugin does not translate. It doesn’t see translations set in /wp-content/languages/plugins/ and doesn’t pick up on translations placed directly into the plugins /lang/ folder.

yeah, files are named as they should be `prdctfltr-nb_NO.po` + `prdctfltr-nb_NO.mo` – I have no issues translating any other plugin, but looking into why it wouldn’t translate, I’m seeing that you’re using localise_script, but I’m wondering if you’re calling it after the scripts are already being printed out, so no languages make it through the function

i just installed the plugin and implemented it as a widget. the thing is that after filtering the products are displayed correctly but the ajax loading sign/area is not fading out! Also just to mention it: please never ever use google translate for translating plugins. 50% of all translations in german are nonsense!
Hi, yes, it was fiverr.com actually, so don’t use that either. A customer sent use the German translation, he says he fixed a couple of things. We’ll add this in the next update. Seems to be a bug since last update where if you visit a product category directly in Woo Commerce it defaults to opening all the category hierarchy (all expanded), even if it’s not set to do that. So drop-downs are not maintained. We are using the grey out but clickable to see the remaining categories.
You following this for bug fix?

When the option ‘show variation image’ is selected, the filter works fine. but when clicking on that ‘green jumper’ I want, the page loads with the default woocommerce variation, which in my case was ‘red jumper’.
Should the link add the variation to the URL it’s directing to?

Is it possible to output the filter option someone has selected somewhere else in the page? For example there is a filter with Option A, Option B, Option C, and someone selects Option B. It then updates the products based on this option (Ajax style), and the name “Option B” appears above the filters.
In your documentation I see this:
“Sometimes you will want to add some content before the Product Filter but only if the user has selected my-custom-category. To do this use the code that follows and add it to your Child Theme functions.php file:”
Would the code that follows that would do it?
Any help with this? It’s been a week now.

Is it possible to filter by length. I have length as an attribute and I would like to be able to filter by a range of lengths. Similar to filter by price. For example, only display products between 1 and 4 inches. All products that have different lengths in the range would be displayed.
Hi, yes it is. It is not that perfect, it uses product attributes from your Products>Attributes, so make a few lengths there and you’ll be able to use it in the range filter. The tricky part is if you have a lot of length attributes, then I wouldn’t suggest using this. Future updates will bring more functions and support for these issues. I use AJAX filter on each product category page, and I have the option “None” available so that the users can filter and also be able to clear the filter of the category to see all products in that category. When I click “None” all the products on the site loads? Why is that? I have marked all options in “Clear all action” so they shouldn’t be effected like that?
Also, on a page where I use the shortcode (with 5 categories), when I click on a category it filters it’s products fine but if I unclick that category (and no other is clicked) when the ajax loader icon just keeps on spinning and the select boxes I use is disabled. Is there a way to fix this?

I am using a plugin called ‘SearchWP’ using the Flatsome theme. When SearchWP is installed the adoptive search filters DO NOT work. Is there a setting to allow a search plugin to work in conjunction with adoptive search filtering?
I spoke with the SearchWP dev and they explained, “the only way for SearchWP to work with it would be to at least have a filter for $args on line 773 of pf-shortcode.php”
Is this something that is possible? Can you offer any guidance on this issue?
Hi, yes we could, but this is not a solution. The SearchWP the $wp_query in some way filter cannot use it anymore. I’m not sure what to tell you, we’ll add the filter, that’s all we can do.

We’re having issues since your last update. Our product list is not defaulting to sorting by ascending price like it used to. We can add the “Sort By” feature from your Product Filter but preferred to not have to use it and just rely on the Woocommerce default that was working up until recently. Once you attempt to change the price range I get a No Products Found response
After some experimentation I’ve discovered that if I filter by four attributes (regardless of which one they are) then it filters effectively. Once I increase the number of filters to five then it returns the No Products Found result.

I am having a similar issue to jlev, except instead of filtering by newest first or oldest first, in my case it filters alphabetically in reverse, so Z to A… this happened since the latest update and was fine before that. I notice it only happens on archive / category pages and not the “SHOP” page.
