Hello, I am looking to possibly buy this plugin.
I was playing with the settings and I was hoping that impossible combinations of criteria will be hidden.
For example, if I have 2 options of square frames, both are 12 inch, and one is white and one is black, when I select white, the 12 inch count goes to 1 (as only 1 combination exists.
It would be similar to how newegg.com has filters for selecting computer parts (once you select a certain criteria, all the others are adjusted automatically, and impossible combinations can be hidden). I thought this was the dynamic recount, but it seems dynamic recount does not do this on my version.
Thanks, Frank
Hello Frank
and impossible combinations can be hidden – right, dynamic recount do this job and just created for it. Drop me link please when it doesn work in your case …
Note: in the free version hiding of empty terms is disabled
Hi realmag777 Thanks for your reply. Once my webpage is created I will forward you the link. If you have this functionality, then I will definatelybuy this product. Other than this issue I am very happy.
Hello Frank
Thank you …
Is it available search by product type? Simple product , variation product, download product, virtual product? Thanks
Hello
Its available search products of any type, but not BY type …
Hi Folks! Update to v.2.1.6 will be should be this week but by technical reasons it was shifted to the end of next week
Hi, I’m testing your great plugin, but I’ve just found a bug: This bug is in price range slider (it’s even on demo site). If you select some product category – price range slider changes accordingly to show prices in this category… and it’s ok. But if you select second category (or more) – it doesn’t change anymore. Try it on the demo site: http://www.demo.woocommerce-filter.com : „T-Shirts” have range $7-$30, Jacket: $45-$120. So if you select both categories you could expect range $7-$120, right? But if you select T-Shirts first, then Jacket – you’ll get $7-$30. And if you select Jacket first, then T-shirts – you’ll get $45-$120. Please, fix this bug. Thanks in advance.
Hello
Price slider uses functionality of woocommerce in this case and range recounts only from maximum to minimum of the current category. I will think of it, but if it will make code too difficult and confusing changes will be rolled back …
Hello
Just investigated the issue before update releasing, watch the video please: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B4zUhfhZlonlTEJodG84YzhGbTg/view?usp=sharing
Hi, guys. As agreed in https://codecanyon.net/comments/14558912 I’m writing you after purchase from client’s account (wood-centr).

Hello Max
Done!
Hello
I’d like to ask the following questions before i buy as i could not find the answers on the demo page and in the forum:
1. Is it possible to have to filters on one page (sidebar for categories only and on top of product archive the colors, size etc.)?
2. Does your filter support adoptive filtering?
3. can i “re-create” my settings here: http://test.gtoclothing.com ( talking about functions and custom css).
Thank you for your kind support and have a good day.
Greetings
Hello
1) Sure, you can use shortcode [woof] for it with its attributes if necessary: http://www.woocommerce-filter.com/shortcode/woof/
If there is no sidebar it can be resolved by popping-sidebar plugin as here: http://www.demo.woocommerce-filter.com/ajax-products-filter/
2) If you mean dynamic recount – yes
3) http://clip2net.com/s/3DG5SBB – if you mean such drop-downs with checkboxes inside – there is not such skin but idea is good. In one row its possible to realize now filters as multi-drop downs only. The filter has a lot of inbuilt-types of filter-items: http://clip2net.com/s/3DG6F9w – its an example of different elements
http://clip2net.com/s/3DG6buj – yes, by shortcode [woof tax_only=”product_cat”] – its just checkboxes which you can see on the demo http://www.demo.woocommerce-filter.com/ -> http://clip2net.com/s/3DG6lX0 – green button can be changed in the plugin settings https://wordpress.org/plugins/woocommerce-products-filter/ – Try before buyWelcome …
Hello, realmag777. I have an inquiry concerning your plugin for a specific project. I am wanting to use it in a workflow. My task is to create a website selling parts using WooCommerce.
I am using the theme found here: http://motor-wp.stockware.ru/
Please visit this envato demo site link to get a better understanding.
I am wanting to select and item (cars) and then create filters based on just that category. I want each category to have it’s own filters. I am currently using the Free version of this plugin. Would you be able to assist me in understanding how to do this with your plugin or let me know if it’s even possible to have category specific filters.
Hello
let me know if it’s even possible to have category specific filters – sure, for this you need to use shortcode [woof] with its attributes: taxonomies, tax_only, by_only – http://www.woocommerce-filter.com/shortcode/woof/ – you can create individual filters for each pages as with shortcode so with widget. With widgets use this plugin for conditional view settings: https://wordpress.org/plugins/widget-logic
By the way: http://motor-wp.stockware.ru/shop/?swoof=1&pa_manufacturer=italy&paged=1&pa_appointment=moto – I see that on that demo WOOF is implemented and works fine …
Hi, I have a presales Question. Does this support multiple filters with different parameters? E.g on one page I want to search for ‘Snow chains’ by ‘Car make’, ‘Car Model’ and ‘Tyre Size’ categories but on a different page I want to search for ‘roofracks’ by categories of ‘Car Make’ and ‘Car model’.
Hello
Yes, you can use shortcode [woof] http://www.woocommerce-filter.com/shortcode/woof/ in usual text-widget and its attributes as: ‘taxonomies’, ‘tax_only’ and ‘by_only’ with this plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/widget-logic to set visibility conditions …
Hi there, filter is working AMAZINGLY! Just wondering if it’s possible to have the Color selector show circular-shaped colors instead of square, like the color selector page on this site https://society6.com/framed-prints If not no big deal, just really like the look!
Hello
Thank you
.woof_color_term{
border-radius: 80px !important;
}
.woof_color_term:hover{
border-color: #444;
border-style: double;
}
CSS code you can drop in the plugins settings panel -> tab Advanced -> ‘Custom CSS code’
Wow that is really cool!!! It looks really cool like that! I love it, thanks so much!!
You are Welcome
Hi, I have a basic question I think, I’m working on a website that uses this plugin and in the category pages I see a dropdown filter open which takes a lot of space, where can I set it to be closed and to open only after the user clicks on it?
Hello
Enable chosen in the plugin settings and be sure that there is no js errors on the site http://www.woocommerce-filter.com/how-to-use-firebug-in-firefox-browser/ . Drop-down should be closed by default always! If no luck – drop me exact link here please …
Hi, guys!
Thak you for the helpful plugin.
Small question. We’ve bought your plugin to setup on the customer’s WP site. After that, we have an issue with a customer so we need to transfer a license to him (he want to have it on his own account).
It would be great if we can solve our problem this way:
1) We both agree on this plan.
2) I register a new account for the customer.
3) I write customer’s name here in comments BEFORE the purchase to proof that it’s me.
4) I buy the license for your plugin from the NEW account.
5) I ask for the refund from current (Pixum) account.
6) You approve my refund.
If it works for you – let me know, please.
Thanks in advance!
Max from Pixum Team
Hello Max
Yes, let your customer buy the plugin and will write request to https://codecanyon.net/item/woof-woocommerce-products-filter/11498469/support with text that he is from ‘Max from Pixum Team’ and then you can request refund which I will approve …
Thanks. wood-centr will buy the plugin shortly.
Not at all …
Hi there, I’ve just purchased and installed this plug-in and was pretty psyched until I realized that it doesn’t work :’( The filter feature is only working for my product categories, not the attributes or anything else. When I select an attribute item for it to filter it just displays all of the products, not the correct filtered results. You can see and try it on my shop page here: http://www.reneeblundon.com/shop/ If you could have a look and get back to me as soon as possible I’d really appreciate it. Thank you Also note: I’ve already tried changing the permalinks as you suggested on your Support page, but that didn’t work either
I’m noticing now that it’s a bit quirky, works for some things and not others. You can see the issue if you click on one of the collections, for example “Above and Below” it is only supposed to have 3 products come up, but instead all of the products show.
The only filters that are working are: Category, Orientation, Tags and Price filter. All of the others display all of the results: Collections, Style, Frame and Subject aren’t working
Hello
Read this please: http://www.woocommerce-filter.com/filtering-by-product-attribute-doesn-work/
If you have more issues just write request with description here: https://codecanyon.net/item/woof-woocommerce-products-filter/11498469/support
You are amazing, thank you, you just made my day
Welcome
Presale cuestion: Hi, Im using the free version. I have a site with 6 categories. Each category have differents attributes. I want to only show the correct or relevant attributes / filters in each category page. If I buy the plugin and I set up “Hide empty terms” as true. It is the way to do that?
Hello
Yes, its possible with dynamic recount if now you can see that all non-relevant terms is zero. + for each category page its possible to create 6 usual text-widgets and drop there shortcode [woof] http://www.woocommerce-filter.com/shortcode/woof/ with special set of attributes in shortcode-attribute tax_only
Visibility for each text-widget with shortcode [woof] can be set by: https://wordpress.org/plugins/widget-logic/
Hi i am interested on buying your plugin… the problem is even when i disable ajax, and other stuff i found some minimal issues, if you go to http://ideasmarinas.com/?post_type=product you will see 4 columns , but as you filter with woof, then you get one column .. Is there anyway to preserve the standard design to get 4 columns in results?.. thanks in advance
Hello
Just looked the site – it can be incompatibility with the wp theme.
Create new page and drop there shortcodes [woof] and [woof_products] and try filtering there – if the same – incompatibility …
+
activate permalinks in the site settings …
That does work partialy, just in that page, the sidebar filter is not working if you are browsing the catalog…
Do you recommend any settings for permalinks, i just change the settings, but want to know the recommended set for permalinks.
Thanks
Hello
1) for filtering you can use your own template with shortcode [woof_products] in such case http://www.woocommerce-filter.com/shortcode/woof_products/ -> ‘custom_tpl’ attribute OR special plugin for woo producta layouts: http://www.woocommerce-filter.com/extensions/#connectors
2) Permalinks:Hey! I have tested the free version and want to buy the premium.
In settings it says “ajax filtering is not compatible with all themes”. In fact, which themes support it? because i want to buy a corresponding theme that works with the filtering!
best regards
and 2.) i want to use with essential grid. but demo page ( http://www.demo.woocommerce-filter.com/woof-and-essential-grid/ ) doesn’t show anything.
is it still compatible with essential grid?
Hello
1) You can test it with free version of the plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/woocommerce-products-filter/ . I can recommend you this theme which works with WOOF for 100%: https://themeforest.net/item/nitro-universal-woocommerce-theme-from-ecommerce-experts/15761106?s_rank=1
2) Thank you, I fixed demo page and its fine now: http://www.demo.woocommerce-filter.com/woof-and-essential-grid/
You can use this connector for essential grids: http://www.woocommerce-filter.com/extencion/essential-grid/
http://www.woocommerce-filter.com/working-woof-with-essential-grid/Hi, I test your filter and saw that didn’t work with get parameters. I fuse the browser back button or refresh, or try to send the link to another computer, the result is broken design. How to solve this issue. Maybe i forgot some settings? Best regards
Hello
Read this please: http://www.woocommerce-filter.com/filtering-by-product-attribute-doesn-work/
the result is broken design – disable AJAX
Hi, I am almost ready to purchase this plugin, but have a few pre-sales questions:
1) Can I use it in a side panel widget?
2) Does it filter on the default Woocommerce product loops? Or do I need to create custom product grids with your shortcodes?
3) for the Price Range slider, can I set slider price increments ie increment in units of 1000 for example.
4) If I use your widget in a side panel, can I set different filter “groups” for different pages? For example I have different categories on my site ie Watches, Jewellery and the filter set for Watches (brand; metal; gender) is different for the filter set for Jewellery (style, gemstone, setting).
Thank you Gary
Hello Gary
1) Yes, even as http://www.demo.woocommerce-filter.com/ajax-products-filter/
2) Yes, and of course you can even create your own templates and use it and use it with this shortocode http://www.woocommerce-filter.com/shortcode/woof_products/
3) Not for range-slider mode but for drop-down mode
4) Yes, but not with WOOF widget, but with shortcode http://www.woocommerce-filter.com/shortcode/woof/ + usual text widget where in shortcode [woof] you can set necessary attributes ‘tax_only’ and ‘by_only’. For widget view conditions use this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/widget-logic/other_notes/
Hi is there a way to add a title above the SKU and text search fields (search by SKU)?
Hello
Only placeholder using button “additional options” OR you can drop separately SKU shortcode http://www.woocommerce-filter.com/shortcode/woof_sku_filter/ into usual text-widget and set title there … Of course in main settings showing SKU should be set to No …
Hi, I have two major categories, clothes and accessories and I want to create a color attribute for each one separately. Is there a way to show show only one of the two attributes the relevant category? .e.g. Clothes color in clothes category and accessories color in accessories category? Thank you!
Hello
I think yes, but not by WOOF widget – by shortcode [woof] http://www.woocommerce-filter.com/shortcode/woof/ and its attribute ‘taxonomies’ + install this plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/widget-logic/other_notes/, so: 1) create 2 usual text-widgets
2) drop there in each shortcodes, for example: [woof taxonomies=product_cat:9] and [woof taxonomies=product_cat:12]
3) set conditions for visibility of this widgets
4) In the plugin settings enable: show count+dynamic recount+hide empty options
In such way will be shown only relevant terms in the search form …
Hi,
I want to achieve this.
On a product brand page were is ee all the products from that brand i will like to show the filter and make it automaticly detect that this is a brand page, showing only products from that brand and filter only categories that the products from that brand have.
Currently this is my brands page: http://soundfactory.com.co/brand/sonance/Do you know of any brand plugin that works with your plugin as your plugin work with the category pages?
I´m going to buy your plugin as soon as i have a solved this quiestion.
Hello
I think you can insert shortcode [woof] programmatically http://www.woocommerce-filter.com/shortcode/woof/ using its attribute taxonomies:
<?php
is_tax('tax-pwb-brand'){
$current_brand_id=get_current_page_brand_id();//should be created
echo do_shortcode("[woof taxonomies=tax-pwb-brand:{$current_brand_id}]");
}
?>
In this case all filter will be relevant in the search form of the filter …
What you need its is get current page brand_id: http://wordpress.stackexchange.com/questions/20431/how-to-get-taxonomy-term-of-the-current-page-and-populate-queries-in-the-templat
