I tried those but I ended up having to edit the theme’s CSS and got it to work. Love this plug-in! Nice work.
Edited CSS was:

You can put it on a playlist, but otherwise no individual video selection is possible. Nothing stops you from placing just 1 single video on a playlist though

If not via RSS, you can just point a WP media library image based thumbnail with JIG Custom Link to the video, no RSS in this case. http://justifiedgrid.com/features/custom-links/ 1 video per locally hosted thumbnail.

Hi Firsh I’ve tried this clear advice at http://justifiedgrid.com/support/fix/i-see-double-lightboxes/ exactly but I am still getting double lightboxes at http://www.newbrandmedia.com/mercedes-benz-case-study/ It’s perfect on mobile but Desktop is a real mess. I think this has occurred since a recent upgrade? I have the latest licensed versions of JIG and NextGenPro and it is the NextGenPro lightbox that I have had working fine with JIG for years before and wish to restore. Many thanks, Jon.
Looks like I didn’t port this to the new FAQ, but have you seen this? https://codecanyon.net/item/justified-image-grid-premium-wordpress-gallery/2594251/faqs/19660 If you follow this, JIG would not open prettyPhoto at all and work fine with NG pro lightbox (which might have changed since I’ve written this FAQ entry).

Done, a preset was selected in the shortcode, therefore preset authority took effect over global settings: http://justifiedgrid.com/features/custom-presets-and-authority/ See examples at the bottom, it’s mentioning lightboxes too.
Also, the gallery_link link class is to make an exception, to NOT use NG pro (custom) lightbox. For example the included PhotoSwipe lightbox works better in every aspect.

Hello Firsh, pre sales question: I need to build an image gallery where the thumb triggers the lightbox and where can I show a download high-res file link. Is this possible with your plugin? Please let me know.
Often the download link is just for the same image that you see opened in the lightbox (same size). Is that ok or you need to download a higher res than what is available in the lightbox?
What would be your content source?
I need to offer a bigger file than the one in the lightbox.
The download link requests “full” image size in case of WP Media Library source, even if lightbox shows smaller version. But for other content sources it usually cannot download larger version as there isn’t any and it shows the largest available from the content source already. Do you have v3.2?
1. It should work fine. But if you set it in the global settings while having a preset selected in the shortcode then that’s why it’s not showing: http://justifiedgrid.com/support/fix/the-jig-settings-i-change-dont-apply-to-galleries/ and http://justifiedgrid.com/features/custom-presets-and-authority/
If you have multilingual site and the string it not translated, it could cause complications.

Do you have any other thing before/after the grid that is placed there automatically by JIG, such as breadcrumbs of gallery description (RML, NextGEN, Facebook, Flickr..)?

Quote must be straight quote (single or double) but not prettified/slanted.

Please note that you seem out of the default support period that comes with the purchase.
Regarding #2 I see now that in the settings it appears split: after the quote it goes out of the field, even though on the frontend it’s fine and can be targeted with CSS. I’ve changed how the settings value is rendered so now it fits inside the box if it has quotes, thanks for noticing.
Hello, i am having issues with the download link on my images. When i download the image it’s 0kb and it says that the image can’t be displayed because it’s empty.

How do you add a watermark?
JIG has no watermark system, I recommend adding them to the images before even uploading them, in image manipulation software such as Lightroom, ACDsee. At least that’s how I did it on the demo site. Or NextGEN has watermark system. Quite possibly there is a watermark plugin for WP media libary images as well.

I have a responsive template but the content area has a width in pixels. What could be the problem? The bottom gallery detects initial width as 1080px or similar large number (boils down to the entire page being hidden why loading, not why why), whereas it should be at 700px like the top gallery.
Add this to Custom CSS of JIG:
.single-blog-list {
max-width: 700px;
}
.load-item {
display: block !important;
}
And it should work fine.
You could increase row height and then use “disable cropping” setting, so the first row of the first gallery would show a bit fatter thumbnails.
The CSS is solving the problem. I am wondering where the 1080px on initial loading is coming from…
I have added row_height=250 disable_cropping=yes to the photos of the first gallery and it looks better now. Thanks for the help.

I am trying to make a gallery, containing 15 images, that is visible when clicking 1 image. I think you have load more enabled, coming from the global settings. That takes preference over hidden limit.

I have set load_more=off and max_rows=1, but on a mobile device the problem still persist. Running Android with Chrome or Opera.
Try clearing the cache on the mobile browser. Do you have a caching plugin in WP by any chance?
It used to show multiple rows on mobile device, now it shows 1 row there too.

It looks like your plugin has a vulnerability that allows code injection into the index.php file. Because of this, my hosting provider took down not only my Wordpress site using your plugin, but every single site associated with my hosting account.
After having all my sites shut down for no idea how long because of this issue with your plugin, I had to spend the entire morning on the phone with my hosting provider as they re-scanned the entirety of all my sites for malware before they would re-activate any of my sites.
You seriously need to review your plugin for vulnerabilities.
Which version do you have? I regularly check exploit databases and there is no known vulnerability in the current version (there was in an older version). Are you sure it was due to JIG?

Last I looked, pagination was not an option. But what about recent post id ranges? Is there a way to set a range of post ids, instead of listing multiple, individual post ids? And maybe a “start at..” allowing for infinite end? Thanks a bunch!
Sorry no ranges either on that setting currently. What would you like to achieve? A type of offset?

Oh thank you, I’ll try this and see how it goes. An offest is what I was thinking.. I could create a kind of manual pagination based on a page id offset and still control the number of thumbs per page. I’ll see if I can achieve this same idea with the date ranges, thank you!
That would work but WP does that already with archive pages. Perhaps you wish to look into replacing post listing archive pages with JIG? They also have included pagination. So all it would do is replace the 10-something posts (configurable “per page” value in the settings) with JIG display. For those without a featured image you can set a placeholder. Edit some (child)theme PHP files and include JIG template tags.
That’s my best guess currently for a pagination. I do plan on adding that feature in the future though. Let me know if you need help.
Oh that’s a great idea too! Currently I’ve been creating custom pages with tag combinations and using JIG to display those results. Archive pages would be smart too. Thank you!

Hi, I am trying to use your Plug-in with WPML and run into an issue.
While I am able to put translation into individual photos and it works well, it won’t display translation of “gallery” names and descriptions, under the “thumbnail grid” view.

Hi, PLEASE HELP I am using the enfold theme and are simply using your preset options. Problem is, it does not look the same as the preset should with some transparency over it. It also seems to be conflicting with my image slider, and animated buttons not showing up at all! When I remove it from visual composer and save, it all returns.

Since you are opening iframe content, you need a mobile lightbox that supports iframes. The default choice, PhotoSwipe doesn’t offer that. http://justifiedgrid.com/lightboxes/ I recommend Magnific Popup on both desktop and mobile, for this task.
It seems like captions are explicitly turned off just for mobile devices, according to your settings.
