Hi, can I assign a value to each answer and finally make the user pay with paypal? Thanks :)

Hello,

Yes, you can assign scores to the answers.
Paying with PayPal is not a feature, you can find many free plugins to achieve that.

Pantherius

Thanks, but for example what plugin? How can I make the two plugins comunicating? Thanks

You’re welcome!

I don’t think it needs to communicate with each other. You can create a custom redirections with Modal Survey, so it is possible to send the user to a specific page, that can offer the Pay with PayPal option.

Sorry, but I can’t recommend you PayPal plugins.

How can I see the open text answer in result page? Just I can see ‘Other’. I want to see the contents which user typed on open text answer.

Hello,

Since there can be thousands of open text answers, it is not possible to display them directly on the frontend results page. You can find them on the survey edit screen on your admin, just click on the gear icon next to the open text answer, then choose the View Answers accordion.

Is is possible to show content (e.g. list of posts) based on user selections?

Hello,

You can create conditions, that redirect the browser based on the total score. That means, if you create a page with a list of posts, then you can redirect the browser at the end of the survey to that page.
Please check the Conditions Section in the Documentation.

Hello!

Can I make a quiz like the following?
http://goodnature.nathab.com/animal-soulmate-quiz/

So I want to have the following sequence:
1. A start button saying “Take the Quiz”
2. The got questions and see the images to click
3. After lets 7 questions they will presented a email optin form
4. After they optin they will be automatically redirected to a specific URL

Please let me know if this is possible.
Thanks.

You’re welcome!

However, you can’t use your own form at the end of the survey, the built-in optin form also support GetResponse. Custom fields are not a feature at the moment, only the name and / or the email address can be requested.

Hi, this looks like a great plugin. Is it possible for the users to be able to login and view the tests they have taken and their test results? So that they can take the test again to see if their results change after doing a course for example?

Hello,

Thank you!

The survey can be displayed for logged in users only and they can also see their individual result. Certainly, the test can be completed again, but there is not possible to display the progress, change or previous results, only the current one.

Regards,
Pantherius

Thanks for the quick reply. So when the user is logged in, they won’t be able to view their previous tests taken and results?

You’re welcome.

However, the survey save all completions to the database and it can be see on admin, only the last individual result can be displayed on the frontend at the moment.

How to take a back end demo?

Hello, I need a popup survey to work like this site: https://goo.gl/fKD5Zn Can yours do the popup with the next question appearing after a click on a question? After the results can I capture the email at the end and send to another personalized page according to the responses?

Hello,

Yes, the survey display the next question after the user select the answer: Lock Screen with Survey

With Survey Conditions, you can create actions based on the answers, like display a custom message or redirect the browser.

The Participants Form allows to capture the name and / or the email address of the user, then save to the database or pass to various email database manager (like MailChimp, Active Campaign, MyMail, etc.)

Pre-Sales question: I’d like to setup a multi-question survey with scores. Each answer is assigned a score and the grand-total determines what to show to the user at the end of the survey.

Is this feasible? Thanks!

Hello,

Sure, it is available in the plugin.

Can a bar in a bar chart display not only the total number of people that answered a question but also their age? Can the bar be showing percentage of different age groups giving the same answer? Thanks.

Hello,

Sorry, but displaying the age or age groups individually with the answers on the chart is not a feature at the moment.

Hi there. We’re looking for three things in particular: 1) the ability to ask just an open-ended question. Modal Survey will allow adding an open-ended question but it won’t allow me to delete the default answer. 2) support for a Likert scale (strongly disagree to strongly agree) 3) ability to display more than one question on the page at a time

Thanks!

Hello,

1. You can simply hide the default answer by clicking on the eye icon next to the answer on the survey edit screen.

2. Sorry, Likert Scale is not available at the moment. You may use Progress Bar or Line Bar instead. Alternatively, it can be added with a custom development.

3. In embed mode, it is possible to display all questions at the same page with adding display=”all” parameter to the shortcode:

[modalsurvey id=”1235” style=”flat” display=”all”]

Pantherius

Can i make the condition between score x and score y

Hello,

Yes, simply use the following syntax:

If Final Score equal with 10-80 then redirect to url.com

Best regards,
Pantherius

Thanks

You’re welcome!

Hi there, pre-purchase question: We are looking to have users log into the website and take the test. Once in, we don’t want any answers to be associated with that user (we need anonymity). That being said, we do want to know if they completed the test, and if not – send them an email a couple days later to say ‘hi, please take the test’ with a link back to it. At the end of it, we’ll do pdf reporting on the whole to get all the answers as you have already built in. Along with that part, if it’s text answer will it list them all out (without user information)?

Thanks, Jesse

Hello Jesse,

Without associating the answers with the logged in participant, it is not possible to know the survey has been completed by the user or not.

Furthermore, the individual answers needs to be saved to show how much question has been answered by the participant.
The text answers can be exported individually, since it can be thousands of entries, that would mess up the export if it would be included in the cumulated export file. It is the reason, you can export those text answers separately in TXT format.

Hello, May be, i will buy the product but i have a question : How many response can be collected with this plugin ? For example, survey Monkey allow to collect 100 response in free version and 1000 response if we pay 35€/month. And your plugin ? Thanks for your response,

Best regards.

(sorry for my english, i don’t speak very well)

Hello,

There are no this kind of limits in the plugin. That means you can get unlimited response, only depends on your database and website capabilities.

Best regards,
Pantherius

Thank you very much for your quick response. Two other questions come to mind:

1) does the plugin is responsive?

2) I would like to use the plugin to display a particular survey which will launch in the first connexion to the website with the “lock screen” features. Is it possible to trigger on any page of the site and is it possible to give possibility to leave the survey if the visitor doesn’t want to participate to the survey?

You’re welcome!

1. Yes, it is always fit to the parent container HTML element. That means, if the theme responsive, then the survey will be also responsive.

2. It is possible to make it “Closeable”, so survey will disappear when the user click on the locked layer or on the close icon. You can also enable the “Display once per User” option, therefore it will be displayed at the first visit for each visitors.

If you would like to read about the full features, you may check the documentation here: http://modalsurvey.pantherius.com/documentation/

this is some great work. the only thing it needs is to have the results chart embedded on a web page and display live as the visitors are giving answers. this is great for events and it’s something that people will buy.

let’s say event participants answer a survey from their phones and on the projector we display the results live. I did it last time showing the pdf, and it was really good. if that is done live..

is this something you guys are planning to do ?

Hello,

Thank you!

At the moment, the chart can be displayed at the end of the survey, that will show the latest results.

Thank you for your suggestion, just added it to my TODO list for further consideration.

Honestly, I wouldn’t like to add a feature that will causing heavy loads even it can boost the sales. Certainly, I’ll check the possibilities and if it can fit to the concept, it will be added.

Best regards,
Pantherius

This is a pre-sale question.

I’m developing a personality test where each of the answers belong to either 5 categories (based on their characteristics). At the result page, I want to display a bar chart showing the percentage of each categories, ascending from high to low (left to right in the chart)

Apart from that, I would also want to display some explanation about the highest score of the category the participant get (on the same page as the bar chart)

For instance, if the user score highest in Introverted category, there will be some paragraphs explaining about it, and also a list of similar celebrities who share the same characters as the participant.

Is this possible?

Hello,

Yes, it is possible with the plugin in case you would like to assign one answer to one category.
The documentation provides all required information how to achieve your goals: http://modalsurvey.pantherius.com/documentation

Certainly, if you even have any questions, feel free to email me via my profile page mail sender.

What if a person scores the same in 2 categories? What results will appear then? We tried the survey and we noticed that the results shown were in 1 category while our highest marks were in a different category. Can you help?

Highest is always must be one as the name says. If there are two category with the highest scores, then the first, that has been found by the plugin will be the highest. If the plugin would be allowing to manage more than one highest category, then it can be causing issues when 50 category has the same scores from the total of 600 categories.

With some math, the scores can be applied to the categories to avoid the possibility of more than one highest category.

Hello, I would like to know if we can put a time limit to do a quiz ? Thanks

Hello,

Sorry, quiz timer is not a feature at the moment.

Best regards,
Pantherius

You’re welcome!

Hello,

A quick question. We are setting up a survey with 30-40 questions and we don’t want to show them all at one page.

Is it possible to show 5-10 questions and them let the user move on to answer the next questions, until the end of the survey?

And also, the questions doesn’t seem to be mandatory by default. I can fill out 2 of 8 and still complete the survey?

Hello,

No, it is not a feature at the moment. You can display the questions one-by-one or all of them on the same page currently.

All questions has to be mandatory. If you see this on the Participants Page, please check the summary page as well. Don’t you have any redirection in the questions?

Regards,
Pantherius

They doesn’t seem to be mandatory here: http://777quiz.dk/deltag

How do we make them all mandatory?

The new version will be available in the next few days in your Downloads Page, that will fix the issue.
If you wouldn’t like to wait for it, please send me a message via my profile page mail sender, so I can send you the new version.

Pantherius

Pre-purchase question: We are looking to use this plugin, but have an important question first. Does the plugin support participants giving their email adress when they submit their answers? And then the answers are sent to them directly via email?

Hello,

Yes, you can enable the Participants Form to ask the name and/or email address. Sending the result via email is also available with the Auto-Response feature.

Best regards,
Pantherius

Does your plugin work with OptimizePress? Just asking because there many other plugins which don’t. Nice plugin by the way.

Hello,

Thank you!
It doesn’t tested with OptimizePress, but I didn’t get any notification about compatibility issues. You may try out the free Survey plugin version to make sure it is works well.

Best regards,
Pantherius

Thanks for the feedback! I will give the free version a try to check it out.

You’re welcome!
